Yes - very possible.
Just read the wiki and the various threads which have been written on the matter. Nothing different for the jasjam.

Yes. many of us here have the JasJam and hav upgraded to WM6, as everyones saying. READ... it sucks but its the best way to learn how to do everything safely.

Hi , I have jasjam and i updated it to wm6 following this instructions :
1 - link your jasjam to your computer using your DATA cable and ' microsoft ActiveSync "
2 - flashing HARD-SPL : just download HARD-SPL
==> Open "HARD-SPL" folder
==> launch RUUWrapper.exe
==> select " Force Using SSPL "
==> NEXT , NEXT .... Follow the steps to the end
* now your HARD-SPL is flashed
3 - flashing " OEM Stripped AT&T " : download it HERE :
same steps with " HARD-SPL " just select " AutoDetect " instead of choosing " Force Using SSPL "
4 - now you can upgrade any roms to your jasjam : just download roms and launch them and follow the steps to the end !
Download ROMS for hermes 100 ( JASJAM , TYTN ... etc ) :
- wm 6 : personally i use this : Schap's WM6 Pro 4.30 ROMs By Schaps ! ( Download links )
- wm6.5 roms : HERE

I think you can use winrar to extract them !!!

I know how I can unzip the file, but during the unzip process this error appears:
"Official AT&T Stripped ROM.zip: CRC failed in RUU_signed.nbh. The file is corrupt"
I downloaded the file twice and download process was completely finished

2. Fix Macau CTM weather update query(for Hong Kong only).

thanks dude really liked the link my battery is back your info gave life to my battery now i dont even remember when i last charge with previous version i had to recharge every 6 hours

Software versions?
Once downloaded and flashed, could someone tell us what software versions are installed please? Manila, and OS etc...
Many people like myself are on Custom ROMs running the lastest of EVERYTHING, so I am wondering what this upgrade is going to offer. Also, the ROM versioning has jumped from 1.xx to 3.xx. There must be something good in there, which will be made available on the custom front.

so u downloaded from multiupload links from xda or from official htc website? and u have what version of hspl on your phone ? u flashed from your computer , not sd card rite ( cause in other way, you would have your phone bricked..)

This Official Rom have in common with the previous...
It's IDENTICAL, Size on Disk 194 MB (204,345,344 bytes)
when receiving a call in my hd2 windows phone 7 from a contact in my contacts list i can't see the name, i see the number.
i use to solve this problem with sktools on windows 6.5
but on windows phone 7 i have a registry editor with the following:
address: 0x(.......)
value: 0x(......)
with read or write
q:what value and what address must be entered to make the phone read 6 numbers to resolve the name.
anyone can help???

I am on HD2 with Android 2.2, and living in Lebanon.
We have the following formats for phone numbers of mobiles:
+961 3 xxxxxx
+961 70 xxxxxx
+961 71 xxxxxx
The SMS application fails to match the +961 3 numbers because the matching is done on more digits. We store numbers as 03xxxxxx and 70xxxxxx. The matching system fails to do it properly on the SMS since the sender's number arrives in international format and the last 8 digits are matched which causes a failure.
In WM, this was fixed by changing HKLM\ControlPanel\Phone\CallIdMatch from 8 into 7.
Does you fix help with this? Does it work on Android 2.2?
