So i have a US T-mobile HTC HD2 that i run 2.2 on right now but it is a little glitchy. Im dual booting on a sd card to get android. But my main problem is that whenever i try to put 2.3 gingerbread on it it boots up in android for the first time just fine, but when i restart the phone it wont boot back into android just gets stuck on the green HTC screen. it does this everytime i try and put 2.3 gingerbread on it through sd card dual boot. Ive tried using a couple different roms, and i get my roms from XDA-devolpers. Ive tried researching this problem but can not find any answers. It runs the 2.2 froyo rom everytime off the sd card but wont boot back up in 2.3 after the first boot up on 2.3. Please help me out!

When I try to boot an Andrioid build for a second time it always boots into wm after trying to boot Android, why?
The delete Android folder tip works when this is possible, but this isn't possible on all builds. What to do?

So you run Haret and it comes back to Windows? Unless you have a ROM that will auto boot into Android, you will always boot into Windows...

No matter what Android build, the minute I try to run it after tossing it on the SD card, it'll go about 4 lines in the bootloader then restart the phone to a white screen with the green HTC on it.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've followed all the steps, put android correctly on the SD card, had HSPLed it but it just won't work. Had no problems with android on the crappy HTC Touch Diamond

I have an HTC HD2 LEO with radio 2.8..... I have installed Android mdjj 4.4 but it runs only for the first time..... After switching off the phone, the phone again comes back to Windows... Pls help... what i m doing wrong???
dude thats what its supposed to do.
You are not replacing windows you are booting a android build located on your SD card. When you use the haret.exe it boots windows from ram and loads the phone into android kernel. To get into Anroid after reboot you need to do same thing again.
There is a solution though, You can install a bootloader that will automatically run haret for you after windows boot and set a delay like 3 seconds, to speed up the whole process you can flash a stripped down version of windows.
Your only other solution is to wait for the NAND project to be released so we can boot Android from nand at boot.
Try this boot loader. It will give you the option of wintel or andriod when switched on

I'm using version 4 which works for me.
Since this week I have a really big problem with my HD2.
November last year I started to install Android on my HD2, first on the SD card and then finally on the Nand (everything went well). Last week I installed one of the latest version and working just fine for one week it stagnated. I had to remove the battery, because nothing worked anymore. After that I got only the white starting screen with HTC and then nothing…
First I run Task29 and flashed it, HSPL, Radio, MAGLDR and then ClockworkMod Recovery. The result was that sometimes the white HTC starting screen popped up, tough I kept the power button pushed down, and sometimes I could enter the MAGLDR. If I finally got into the MAGLDR and tried to recover a backup or try to do a fresh/new install. I formatted the SD with the Panasonic SDformatter, but it didn’t had any effect. Finally I flashed the HD2 back to WM6.5 and the HD2 start working again (not very well). After this I tried to install Android on the SD card, but now the HD2 keep stagnates in the white HTC starting screen and nothing else works..
ROM: Boyppc Ginger 2.3.4 HoneyComB V27, with 150Mb system partition and an 1Gb ext2 partition on the SD card.
Is this a software or a hardware problem? Or both?
Can somebody please help me, because I have no clue how to repair this???
Best regards,
Janha,
I recently tried installing Android on my HD2 but Magldr keeps getting stuck on "1234 GO GO GO!" and dosent do anything. When the phone gets warm i get the '1E Fatal Hit' and i have to leave it to cool.
Ive manaed to boot android once, but then it never booted again.
Ive downloaded a stock .exe WM rom for my HD2 and installed through bootloader but after the install finishes it just sits on the green and white HTC Screen, ive even tried flashing the spl to the rom version.
Is my HD2 Bricked?
Is there anything i can do?
Thanks,
ahmadfini
Ive just tried installing the stock rom via sd card, it said success but still stuck on HTC logo screen
