Your Adam has been shipped out from the factory and is on it's way to your home. The general process is that, first the devices are shipped out from China to Hong Kong and from Hong Kong to your location.
Once the shipment reach the port of Hong Kong, our shipping partners will be emailing you the tracking numbers and other details.
Your status will also be updated on the website by Monday with tracking numbers.

The Chinese New Year holidays that are in the first week of February further add to the delay. However, our touchscreen partner, Sintek, have agreed to work through the holidays and deliver the screens as soon as possible. We are afraid that until we receive these touchscreens, your device would not be ready for shipment.
The estimated date of your shipment would be 14th February 2011 (Buffer included).

Also I was originally supposed to have it shipped on jan 9th then 15th-22nd, and then 29th, then feb 14th

The same happened to me and I'm really pissed off! I'm wondering if I should send an email to cancel my order...

From what I heard it did. If you read on notion addicts many people got no email what so ever. Did you check your order status on notion inks web site?

i didn't recieve an email but i told my gf to contact them and make sure it was still shipping since it was the 29th and that was when it was supposed to ship
they responded with the email about touch screens breaking and the ****ing new year bs....like this is so not good business
now we are delayed again till probably the end of february

yeah, it says the 14th, but that first email I got seems a little weird

Yes we got the email and yes this is the fourth delay.
And yes it is not pretty. And yes as good Walmart shoppers we are used to having it our way and right now, but no this time we are not going to get it our way. And no we are not going to cancel because we want this nice piece of hardware. And yes by the time we git it they will have a lot of the bugs worked out. And yes they should have rejected the whole batch of screens and postponed the shipment. And no you are not going to feel better about it tomorrow. And yes we trust that this company will do the best they can. And yes we can cancel our order. And yes most of us are not going to do that. And yes we will keep making a lot of noise about it, because yes that is what we do! So the answer is.............

I only got the second email. Delayed again. 9th > 15th > 29th > 14th....

Ordered on the 12th, no change on NI website - not that I honestly expected it anyhow. No email.
The 14th Feb order started getting thiers 8-10 days after it said shipping so I guess it will be at least 8-10 days from today...

It would be nice if they would update the blog. Just about anything would appease me... "Hey, we're shipping today!", or "Even though we're not shipping today, we are finalizing all builds and will ship within the estimated time frame (March 10th)", even "hey suckers! You're going to be waiting awhile! Muahahaha!" would be fine. Then I could have piece of mind they haven't forgotten us.

It's a little sad. I actually dreamed of having the tablet last night and showing it off and it was a good dream. but even in the dream I kept thinking, "this is here Way to early..."

I ordered mine on the 12th. I hope everything goes as smooth as Rohan said they should this go round. I ordered the LCD wifi 3G.

Then after much clamoring about whether it was really 9PM or 9AM and which timezone.....
The software is pushed from Google's servers. All upgrades from Google is pushed via OTA. We were notified this morning that it would not post until 9PM PST. The end date hasn't changed so everyone should have received the update within 4 days from today.

THEORY: Vibrants bought before October Overclock better than bought this year!?

I remember my First Vibrant I bought in late October and couldn't overclock. Thinking I bricked it (which I didn't) I replaced it and can barely overclock to 1.2ghz
I have heard many of my friends have their vibrants bought in September to July and they can overclock to 1.6 (Manhattan project kernel)
How many people that have bought their phones before October can overclock higher than 1.0 to 1.6
And how many bought after October can do the same?
If you could please check the build date on the side of the box near the barcode

I haven't tried 1.6, but i did try 1.44, and it was running smooth on my phone...im not sure when it was purchased tough, i bought it second hand
I did buy it 4 weeks ago, so im guessing that it was bought this year? Were i can see the year it was made?

I bought mine in march off ebay, but it was brand new(with plastic on it), and had froyo 2.2 on it(I'm sure it's newer). I overclock to 1.44 with bullet kernal just fine

Weird how I can run bullet. But that's it.
Try cm7 at 1.4 or 1.6 that wont work for me

I bought my frst Vibrant when it came out on July 15th last Summer. I couldn't OC for the longest time until I used the Overstocked kernel. It was the only kernel that allowed me to OC to 1.2Ghz (or any OC at all). The 2nd and 3rd Vibrants I owned are from Oct and Jan. They both OC fine using any OC kernel. Hope this is somewhat helpful for your stats

No, it didn't have the stock samsung sticker in the back behind the battery, it had the one that refurbs come with, so I don't know when it was built.

Pretty sure it was, because I know that refurbs (GPS plagued) usually come fully working, and my GPS is super quick, compared to my new one, which took a while to lock.
And the new one (Built in Jan), couldn't overclock higher then 1.3 without just completely locking up.

Think I got you all beat lol. I ordered it on a Friday. Was shipped on Tuesday (nothing done on the weekend. As stated) And got it on Wednesday. This is saying alot for something shipped to Alaska. They use UPS so it is really good.

Depending on where you are you may get it today. I know mine made it from Kentucky to Alaska in less then 24 hours but UPS was closed when it got to the city so it was here the next day.

As i stated above i got an email 330 this morning with tracking number...but no info comes up still when i track my package.

Ordered mine on Tuesday @ 11 and it arrived Wednesday @ 11. Very fast shipping, mind you I would expect that since I paid £10 shipping fees. Haven't actually used the phone yet as I am away from home but get to use it tomorrow. Whoopee!

You should receive the phone in 48 hours after being sent the shipping confirmation email.

It was 2 business days shipping by Fedex. It took Tmobile a week to get me the upgrade sim card, but they forecasted 10days and gave me no useful way to track it. All is in hand and I'm adapting to the phone.
