I have HTC Magic 32A, 6.35.16.19, SPL 1.76.2007
I have a strange problem with my phone. That is my touch screen is not working. But when i put the phone on to the radiator or on a hot stuff, it starts to work! After a while its freezing again. Yeah thats true, im not kidding
I dont know why it happened but is there anyone who has the same problem with me? I guess theres a problem with the touch screen and i need to change it but if i know that somebody has the same problem and can help me how he/she fixed this problem i will be grateful for this.
change your radio or flash a newer rom this is how i fixed my phone

yeah pretty much what the tread name is my t-mobile wing just turns off by itself i dont know what the problem is im running on open touch v6.5 and ive tryed touch-it and carbon elisha and for some reason every now and then my phone will turn off by itself anyone have any idea why? or maybe how to fix the problem?

Sounds like a hardware problems since it happens without regard to the ROM. First first Wing did the same thing. I had tmobile replace it and ever since, it's been perfect.
Hi, I've spent hours searching these forums, yahoo and google, and I cannot find a solution that works of me.
First, I load my HTC Touch Vogue from US Cellular and it goes to the "Smart Mobility" screen and stops there. Before this happened, I started some SPL program and the screen turned white on my phone, and I restarted.
Can anyone help with my problem?

Have you tried Flashing the ROM?

OK, custom ROM and if so which one?
Stock ROM and if so why a Bell ROM on a US Cell service?

OK, try again, "some SPL program" doesnt say WHICH SPL program so how can anyone be of help - SPL what? different SPL progs out there and that could be the issue but without knowing which one nobody else is going to know either

As soon as more specifics are out there, sure someone can and will probably help
Is it working after a soft reset like it was?
Is it just when you run this mystery SPL app of yours? If you dont run it does the phone work fine? is this SPL app needed?
Have you flashed or hard reset your phone to see if that corrects it?
Give us the info and yeah, we can help - leave it vague and people wont answer because they dont know what your referring to...

Hi guys .... I got a problem with my htc touch p3450 elf. The problem with my device is freezing all the time i have tried everything like........flashing several type of roms changing radio and (ipl-spl) but nothing works same problem freezing and shuts down....im really worried about this i dont know whats the matter with my device....is there any buddy can tell me regarding this problem that what is wrong with my device .....i,ll be really thanxfull to him.
A similar kind of problem happend to me also but i dont know if the issue is the same... i uninstalled all the programs ive installed in it.. i think elf and elfin doesnt take too many software. try doing a hard reset if the problem still persists. Back up all ur data's before that.
I had made a stupid mistake to flash a G1 SPL on my hero, now my hero turns into a brick, can anyone help?
I have pressed every button combination to start my phone, and none of them works. NO screen, no light...
I heart that someone can bring the bricked G1 back to normal, does it work for hero?
May i ask why you did it before? Umm i suppose anything is possible, but i dont really know how to help you out. I have a feeling its gonna take alot of work...but i could be very wrong.

just connect your phone to pc as normal
download the original rom from htc web site and go head as usual

so here is the problem,recently my phone started to freeze for a few seconds (not responding the screen)and then everything was normal,but now i cant unlock,i.ve try diferent ROMs but the problem is still here,it runs on Android,before on Windows.the hard keys green,home,back and red i think work properly but i.m not sure,so please is the LCD,hard keys or digitizer or softwer problem how to know???if someone got the same problem please help me....i love this phone very much

lots of people have the same problem. The screens start to fail after a while.
Best test = reinstall the stock TMOUS rom, if the problem still occurs, your touch screen is dying.
Im with samsamuel. Its the time we live in where phones are made to only last 2 years. Where are the good old days where you could just buy a nokia 3310 and have a phone/bodyarmor.
