Hi all,
I need some (urgent) help with my blackstone:
At boot it shows "battery level low, device will shut down" and it does
Tried to flash a new rom, no problem
tried to flash stock rom, no problem
tried a radio, no problem,
tried an other battery, same problem
Did a diagnostic to the device and came up with the next message:
" Get oemspl fail!
Verify str not found
PLS check SECU-FLAG on/off"
What can i do to get my device back?? This happened after charging with an original htc car-charger and i had a battery discharge in 4 hours (from 100% to 0%)
All other tests are passed with the diagnostic tool
I have olinex 1.56 spl, tried to re-install, changed radio but still device seems to be dead.
Battery info:
ID 4
TEMp 3094
VOL 3004
CHGR curr 2883
Volt 3577 mV
Current: -320mA
cap 0
temperature 501
Maybe it's time for a new battery but i tried with a different one and the problem persists.

i was installing new rom on my device.when it was 12%, the computer got locked and i had to reset. Now,my baby did not reflash again.i tried again but himaupragadeutility gave : communication problem. what can i do now? can anyone help me? so a few people know this device, the others even do not know what pda is. what i can do?????????????????????????????
Try putting your device into bootloader mode and making sure your XDA is plugged into the mains as well. There's also an upgrade program which bypasses country id checks.
Good luck.
I got the same problem with my Qtek 2020i today!!!!!
The device is dead and i can't put it into bootloader mode!
I need your help please
Try taking the battery out for about 1 hour. This will run the backup battery down therefore wiping the ram. Put the battery back in, connect it to the mains and put it into bootloader by pressing power, action and reset for about 3-5 seconds until serial appears on screen. No backlight so look carefully.
I tried to remove the battrey for 1 hour but it's still the same!
any way thanks for trying to help pug.
Finaly My Wallaby GSM can't used (can't pass 1% flash RSU), but PDA function still normal, just one problem, how can i charge my battery?
i try to charge the battery on back cover whole (for external baterry), and guest..my battery can use for 24 hours using PDA function...now everyday i charge my wallaby on back cover whole, for 3 hours..and ia can use PDA function.
still try to upgrade RSU, but no luck...can pass 1% error.
anybody know how to flash GSM hardware for wallaby (i read about JTAG, but it's to much risk, open the processor...), any other way?
here is my wallaby pict
No solution?
Hi, we are in the same boat, I too have a Wallaby similar to yours. What's different though is that I am able to reflash my RSU (successfully got past 1% fail a number of times). What's weird though is after a successful RSU reflash, still the GSM part is dead. I too charged the battery through the back cover.
Have you tried reflashing RSU with substantial amount of power in your battery? Also, plug directly to AC supply. With this, I am able to reflash my RSU. What I haven't tried yet is to use a good battery (in case my or your battery is dead already). Maybe you could try this too. I think that the battery of the Wallaby has an internal charging circuit. Of course you would need to successfully get past the 1% error for your Wallaby to charge.
Also, have you checked the fuse inside? A busted fuse will not allow your Wallaby to charge. There is a post here concerning this. There is also a post where you remove the battery and plug your Wallaby directly to AC supply (to bypass battery checking) then reflash your RSU. Worked for some.
I was able to recover from this GSM error a few months back, but this time I'm stuck. Probably a hardware problem already after trying all alternatives. I got myself a Himalaya instead. Anyways, wish you luck on your Wallaby.
thanks for the repply morph751..
i allready checked the fuse..but the fuse still good..
allso as u said :

Hi all,
I'm writing just because i think now is time to send my TyTN for repair, but I want other infos if someone can help.
Today, after I've charged all the night (about 6 hours) my TyTN, when i've pushed power button it started with Boot Loader.
I thought well, it's time to upgrade the ROM, i've already saw this screen experimenting on functions but, to me sounds strange that the device started automatically in Boot Loader.
The ROM was ROM version 1.18.258.2 ROM date 07/22/06
I've downloaded a new (official) release ROM version 2.11.258.1
ROM date 03/07/07 and followed the instructions with Active Sync but obviously it dont started.
Searched and found how to upgrade with MiniSD and HERMIMG.nbh.
Successfully loaded the new ROM and device still restart in Boot Loader.
I've then connected to the wall plug and done an Hard Reset, Windows Mobile showed up right.
When the installation for EXTRAs ended the device restarted and NOW STILL in BOOT LOADER mode.
I've readed and tried everything on stuck Boot Loader and other topics but cant get out.
The thing that is very strange to me, is that I'm unable to use mtty or get connected to use uni_exitbootloader.
Another thing is that the device no more charge the battery or Amber lights on, only RED light with USB cable or Charger.
(Problem 6 @ http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_UpgradeProblems#other)
Finally I think is something USB hardware related and I'll send it for repair but just want to know if there something else I can try.
(maybe is better I post here? DEAD Hermes @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=286755)
Thanks in advance for any infos anyone can provide.
Marco.
Finally
I've tried with solution found on

additional power batteries self made pack of 3 AAA Batteries worked for now.
Need help!
I have been messing with this phone for afew days now can't seem to get it to work. When I power the phone on all I see on the screen is green screen that says "IU BUILD! Test Only" this ws the result of a hard reset. The device is sim unlocked but I don't believe it's super cid unlocked. I'm unable to do anything except for hard resets and bootloader screen. I was going to try to reflash the original rom but can't seem to find any, I only have access to the sp3 roms which I can't use since it's not super cid unlocked. Any help would be great!!!
iMate OEM ROM
http://rapidshare.com/files/61129896/SP3_WWE_2.4.33.11.zip
Here is a link to an iMate OEM ROM. Start in bootloader and execute this to see if you can recover your device. You haven't shared much about what you phone is or how it ended up like it is. You are correct that it needs an OEM ROM, then application unlocked then Super CID unlocker before flashing a custom ROM. Good Luck and report back you results.
The phone is a Krome IQ700. In bootloader mode it shows IPL 0.27 SPL 1.01.0109 Typhoon UI. Another problem is active sync does NOT see the phone. When attempting to load any rom I get error 264. I think I might have to load rom with SD the only proble is I've never had to do this before so any help would be great. I could honestly live w/o the phone but I think this would be a great learning expirence. Thanks in advance.
after attempting your reply my phone is now dead and will not power on ...

Remove the battery and memory card, wait 30 minutes then re-insert the battery. Hold in the camera button and then plug in the USB. If it is still alive, it will open in bootloader (Red, Green, Blue) mode.
still dead... what do you think happened?

I had this once when my oem battery died. I was able to jumpstart it and get it to recharge using a 9v battery to kick it up from nearly 0V.
If you have a battery meter, you can test the contacts, looking for 4v across the battery terminals (remove battery from phon to test). If you get < 2v then you battery does not have enouge juice to power up.
Once you get power back, do you have the ROM from your OEM? You should be searching for it in the mean time. If I find anything on it, I will let you know as well.
Everything I see on your phone specs appears that it should respond and behave like all of the other Typhoons/Sp3's. As long as you followed the unlocking steps from Karhoe's post (second sticky on typhoon main page), your device should not be a brick. If you recover power, you may want to first flash an WM5 ROM from one of the posts then try to flash WM6 as this is the prescribed method starting from WM2003.
Guys, I've a 32A sapphire MT3G
SPL: 1.76.2007 S-OFF
Radio: 6.35.10.10
ROM: v2.0 (FroyoRider - CM-6.1.0-RC0-DS base - nightly build 17-Sept-2010):
I installed this ROM a week ago, everything was fine(except for a couple screen-wakeup issues) until today. I was running low of battery (did not drain) so I decided to plug it into my charger, nothing happened, no amber LED, no on-screen charging animation on the notification bar, nothing. I tried the A/C charger, then the USB charger (and a couple USB cables too). No avail.
I replaced this battery with another one, but still the same issue. When I booted my other sapphire with this battery, it did work and showed full charge (since I left the phone on USB for sometime).
So the battery is actually charging, but does not show on-screen, nor does it connect with the comp. via USB (no sync) , I tried to boot into recovery mode and enable USB-MS.. still can't connect.
Thought this was a ROM issue and flashing another one would fix it, I decided to go back to my old eclair by allen, but fastboot didn't work for me to revert back to 3.22 radio (waiting for device error).
Any of you guys ever faced something like this? Any help would be much appreciated. Sorry for such a long post. Wanted to explain as much as possible.
Thanks for reading!
There is always a possibility for hardware malfunction!
But try to download a rom which uses the new radio combo... like capychimps rcmagic v6 or the supereclair....
Copy it manually to the sdcard and flash it from there!
Thanks for the reply, mumilover, I tried flashing another ROM, boots up fine, still the same charger issue.. battery actually charges, no USB connectivity, no on-screen indication of charging. What hardware malfunction could actually cause this?
Bump! Anything I can do to fix this guys? Or should I go to HTC care?
