i find it quite acceptable, and on par with the universal.
you need to be alittle more specific about what you are whinging about, rather than just whinging for the sake of whinging.
i don't know what your talking about, i find the video to be pretty good. I was just showing some friends some of my new years videos and they were pretty impressed with the quality. Maybe you have the macro slider on the upclose setting and the video is blurry, other than that, i'm pretty satisfied with the quality of videos on my jasjam.

The quality is decent but the wobble is really bad

Cute polar bear. Nice video quality too. I'm don't get it when some people say "the video quality on the nexus one sucks" when all i've seen is well... beautiful results. Go figure?

It's behind glass too which had a lot of dirt and crap on it. Coulda looked a bit better.

Yeah I didn't even notice that. It really doesn't get much better than what you recorded though as far as from a cell phone camera.
note: I ment I* not I'm in my last statement..
that first vid in the heli was shot after a mod a user on xda used on his nexus one
there working on mods to upgrade the cam to 720p with 25fps and a upgraded sound rec... they have had a little luck but still trying
How does it compare? I'm coming from a Pre and even though the resolution wasn't very high, the compression/quality was and is great. I would hope the EVO would be somewhere between the Pre and a Kodak Zi* Camera. Any thoughts?
seriously, youtube some videos that have "plam pre camera" and "evo 720p" in the title, Honestly i think the evos video looks like shiz. its getting super compressed. HOPEFULLY we will find a way to make it encode differently when we have fully rooted and hacked the device. Next time do your own googling.
Personally I think the quality is pretty good. Obviously if the bitrate was higher we would have better quality but I still say it's better video than any phone I have seen so far.
I noticed with the nexus one stock 2.2, vid recording was okay, but the vibrants blew it out of the water. It had a better framerate, better pic quality, and most of all for me, BETTER SOUND. Hence my reason for making this thread. I was wondering if the g2 would still have that low bitrate stock AMR codec..i really hope not.
Any input on this?
according to the rep i talked to(HTC) the camera in it as a 5MP looked 10x better than the 8MP they tested and the cpu+gpu combo should help as well

I watched a Desire Z video on youtube in 720p and it looked like cheap floating lense (Like it was underwater while moving around)
have yet to find a phone which had decent vid recording. iphone did it a okay job but its pretty shaky and sucks when filming motion.
If its anything like the MTS, it'll be worth it to me. The MTS recorded in 640x480 which looked pretty darn good to me. I mean its a phone in the end. The 720p res should look pretty darn good. I've been totally satisfied with the camera/video on the MTS and it looks like the G2 will be an even better camera plus way better video... so I'll be happy!

Yeah, the shutter speed has a ways to go in mobile cameras.
It'll have to be better than my Nexus One's 720p hack. So I'll be satisfied.

Your friends are never going to believe what you did. The only way to prove it to them is with that video you took. Rate this thread to express how videos shot on the Honor 6X come out. A higher rating indicates that videos are smooth (and not choppy) and that auto-focus works very well, and that the camera adjusts quickly to different lighting conditions while recording.

Video Quality is not good as other mid range phones compared to j7 2016 and prime but Video recording quality is not good.
But photos are better than j7 2016 and little bit ahead on prime

I don't shot so many videos but it's good.
Videos isn't my thing but wish we had something like EIS because the quality is already good (add to that manual video controls in 3rd party apps).

I like videos quality; for testing this, I've made a video of a thunderstorm from my balcony during an evening, and i can say that compared to photos, here even in poor conditions of light (sky all black, full of clouds) i can see well every lightning, from its appearance until the disappearance.

Rather than rate the thread, how about you share some videos so that those of us who don't currently own Honor phones can see it and judge the quality? Its average,better than competition but its not of high grades its just average not bad in any case
Video quality is much better than other phones at this price.
