Flash Player not functioning properly (even for flash player) - Fascinate General

I apologize if this has been answered already.
Ever since we got 2.2, my Fascinate has not once been able to play flash video properly. What will happen is everytime, I mean everytime, I play a flash video from any site, the video will play fine but the audio will be on super slow-mo, lliiiiiiikkkkkkkkkkeeeeeeee tttttthhhhhhiiiiiissssssss, and will thus make the video unwatchable. I figured that it was just a result of running DL30 when that first came out but now that we are on EB01 I am perplexed as to why I am still experiencing this issue. I have done complete wipes, uninstalled, reinstalled, tried stock browser/dolphin, and I am at my wits end. Does anyone know a fix?
I am running Stock Themed EB01 with JT's EB01 voodo kernel.

Phone Vibrate and haptics don't work after updates

Hi I rooted my fascinate, installed CWR and froze the apps as instructed in this post.
Root-CWR-MOD-
The I installed voodoo as instructed in this thread listed here.
Voodoo Install for Fascinate
After installing Voodoo almost everything works fine. I get a quadrant score of 1500+.
However my phone vibrate and haptic feedback is completely non functional. It is turned on under system settings. Any idea what could be causing this?
You probably flashed a kernel (with voodoo) that is for the DJ05 rom. If you flash DJ05 you will have the haptic feedback back or you will have to flash to a kernel designed for Di01
Thanks for the help. Yeah that's what I did. I disabled lag fix and will try to install DJ05 and hope that fixes the problem.
You will also need the DJ05 modem flashed via odin. I you want everything to work right.
good day.

[Q] Bluetooth and youtube not working on ANY custom rom

Hi,
After getting my Samsung Epic 4G last year, I had rooted, wiped and installed Epic Experience - Version 1.2.09 [11/22] - Eclair (DI18). All was well !!
Yesterday I decided to try Epic Experience - Version 2.0.08 [03/05] - Froyo (EB13) and followed the necessary steps to change file system. I used Odin with CWD3 to do this. After installation I noticed that the youtube app would open and display videos but none of the youtube videos would play (kept getting a "this video cannot be played, touch to retry" error for any video that I tried to play. It worked fine on wifi but not on 3G. I then noticed that the Bluetooth would not turn on. Everytime I clicked on it, it would say turning on and go back to the off status after about 15 seconds.
Confused I decided to go back to wipe, go back to stock with Odin and go back to Android 2.1 - i.e. Epic Experience - Version 1.2.09 - here also faced the same issues with Bluetooth and youtube.
Went back to stock through Odin and everything is working fabulously.
Tried Epic Experience Roms v1 and v2, tried Nebula roms, tried Syndicate Rom, and finally tried Viper Rom v2 with the correct procedure and wiping between each. Noticed that with ANY custom rom I cannot get Youtube videos to play or Bluetooth to turn on. It works absolutely fine with stock Sprint Rom ONLY.
Even formatted the SD Card.
Does anyone have any suggestions ?? I am at my wits end.
Could this be linked to rooting to CWD3 ??

Youtube problem. No vid, only audio

Anyone have problem with youtube lately? I can hear the audio but no video. I can search and get results but once I click on a vid I cant see anything. I can hear it though.
Im running pwgb beta 3 rom with tks 11/27 kernel. Thats it. Nothing special. It was working 2 days ago. Im using it over wifi. Tried w/out and same result.
Update youtube, update flash to 10.2. Clear youtube cache. Clear phone cache. Reboot. Same problem. Audio but no video. Tried uninstalling youtube and reinstall. Reboot. Same. No changes.
Very frustrating. Any suggestion?
Problem SOLVED
Went and flash stock EH03 and then flash SUPERCLEAN v.5 full rom. Then flash KGB 11/27 kernel.
now it's perfect.. maps work, youtube works, gallery work.. it's great now.

Camcorder FC and viewing video failure

So I have been on MGA for quite some time now while the whole KNOX saga has been thrown about. Finally I felt the time was now to upgrade to 4.3 and jumped on the latest Djembey ROM. Did a full wipe and the install via CWM went perfectly. Now all seemed well untill I went to the Camera app and clicked camcorder. This caused the error "Recording Failed" and closed the app. No matter what I did , including changing movie size and save location the same issue existed. I went to gallery and tried to view any video and it gives the error "Sorry this video cannot be viewed". No third party player would work either including DICE and VLC.
As this is more than likely something I've done wrong I gave it another reflash after a full wipe. Exactly the same issue. I also noticed that SVoice kept freezing and kept telling me the mic was in use else where. However this was the only app running. Another small issue is sound isn't working at all. Only vibration..
About to give up I tried the latest ECHOE ROM. Same issue existed on all account listed above. Im ready to throw in the towel and go back to stock for all the stock firmware links on Hotfile are broken at the moment so I cant even down load that. And whats to say these bugs won't exist in stock now either?
Really at my tether so any advice is appreciated.

Finally fixed shooting video, sound quality and reboot problem

I'd like to share my experience solving some basic problems with my nexus 4 running cm11, and 10.2
I had problems with the video freezing when shooting video
I wanted to improve the sound quality because I stream google premium and couldn't find a solution until recently
And had a rebooting problem in the end which I solved.
My nexus 4 worked perfectly running cm until I did the 4.3 update in november. After that the video would freeze when I was shooting. wouldn't happen all the time but would happen sometimes. I did everything, factory resets, reinstalling gapps, restoring the camera app, wiping data. Nothing worked. Even updating to cm 11 did nothing to change the situation. After having to go back to stock because of another problem I ran into -- installed Franco kenrnel on cm 11 and they aren't compatible -- I discovered that the video camera was still freezing. So I discovered it had nothing to do with cyanogenmod roms. Someone suggested flashing the separate photosphere gapp package along with the full gapps package and funny enough that solved the problem.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942
I don't know if the recent updated photosphere gapp corrected a problem or what. But. Shooting Video now works.
I switched to omni rom because I wanted to use the franco kernel to adjust my sound settings, in my search for sound quality improvement but the omni rom was a real challenge and was plagued with bugs and wasn't for me. But stuck with it because of the franco kernel.
I then discovered that hells-core kernal did the same thing and works with cm11 so switched back to cm11 the stable snapshot version from last week and installed hells-core kernel. My phone started to reboot capriciously every 10 or 15 minutes and tried everything to correct that, eliminated data from apps, fixed permissions -- nothing worked, but finally decided to flash the latest cm nightly to see if the problem wasn't related to the version of the rom I was running .
When I flashed it, I wiped cache partition, delvik cache, and formated data , reflashed full gapp package plus the photosphere gapp. I didn't flash hells-core again. Maybe that was causing the reboots. I don't know. Everything now works perfectly. No more random reboots, the video camera seems to work fine, I discovered that the cm kernerl does have one volume gain adjustment and am now using viper4android effects equalizer that has gain control for both volume, bass and treble and everything is great. and my sound quality is probably as good as it will get on a nexus 4.
I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to resolve these problems so hope this is of some help to others.
