Hello everyone,
Just got my A7, so far I'm pretty happy with it. However, I do have one issue and wanted to see if it's just me. I've already searched the forums to no avail so I apologize if I just missed this. Are there any Wiimote pairing apps that work on this device? I've tried four of them but they either disconnect right away or force close upon pairing. I have the same apps working fine on my droid 2 global.
I'm running Dexter's mod 1.3 along with more recent update patch. BT seems to be wotking fine in general and I've enabled the proper input methods.
Any ideas?
Bump. Specifically, has anyone tried pairing a Wii remote with the official Elocity update from a few days ago which is supposed to include better bluetooth compatability?
I bought a wii remote to use but returned it. It seems the elocity will not support it.

Hi, I am running JACMan 1.62 (a great build) with the latest radio and spl. Recently i purchased the HTC Wired Remote rc e100. when i tried to install it, i get an error message telling me tat the latest driver is already installed. Needless to say, the wired remote does not work. I tried to use an app called toggelheadset, but this only allows the music to come through and does not allow the control function of the wired remote to be used, defeating the purpose of purchase. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, and hopefully someone might have a solution that they could share.
Just quickly looking, it seems people with other HTC phones have the same problem

Is this supposed to work with the Dream? Did HTC themselves say it would work, or just some reseller said so?
Not to mention you are running a modified ROM, so I don't think it should be suprising if you find hardware that won't seem to work, since said hardware has been designed/tested on stock ROMS.
I've done some searching and can't seem to find a definative answer to this one. I have a Droid 2 stock ROM after the latest OTA update (version 2.3.3) rooted.
I also have a gTablet that is not stock ROM. I have a Navigation application that does onboard navigation just fine but I need a GPS source.
I've tried several ways to use my Droid 2 as the GPS transmitter that can be recieved by the tablet without success.
Does anyone have any suggestions or apps that they could point me to to make this type of function a reality?
Thanks in advance.
Howdy all!
I'm running CM10.1-nightly and I've been trying to connect my inPulse SmartWatch to my N4, without success. It appears to pair successfully, but the client app never connects and I can't send any commands to it. Has anyone successfully paired their device with an inPulse watch? I wonder if it has anything to do with the changes in the bluetooth stack in 4.2.2?

I have the same problem too. I upgraded my Motorola Atrix 2 to 4.2.2 and also cannot connect. My Ubuntu netbook however has no problems. I'll reply back here here if I find anything, but I'm not too optimistic.
Hi guys. I emailed Alerta a while back about the compatibility issues with newer versions of Android. I emailed in February of this year...
"Good afternoon. I wonder if you plan to update the inpulse Android app to
run correctly on 4.2 Jellybean? I have tried several times after updating
my Nexus S to 4.2 but the app simply will not connect to my watch. I would
really like to be able to use the watch. I used it all the time before the
Android system update and I truly miss it.
As an added note, if it helps, I am running Cyanogenmod ROM's and have been
for years. Never had an issue with my watch connecting until 4.2.1. I would
try the forums but those have been taken over by bots and have become
pointless.
I will appreciate your reply, should I receive one.
Your paying customer,"
On March 01, 2013 I received this reply...
"Thank you for reaching out to us. We are not supporting further development on the inPulse Android app.
Best regards,
Asad"
Guess we can chalk it up to another wasted $100. Jerks.
Hey,
I own a T330NU. I bought a Bluetooth Keyboard to use with it. Everything was fine for a month, and then all of a sudden, the keyboard started being "unable to communicate" with Bluetooth. I unpaired it, tried to pair it again and it still didn't work. I NEEDED to use my keyboard, so I did a reset and restore and it worked fine after that. Until another month later, when the same thing happened. This time, a reset didn't help.
I'm able to connect the keyboard to other devices, such as my Macbook and iPhone. I'm able to connect my tablet to other Bluetooth devices, like an audio speaker and my boyfriend's T330NU. I'm also unable to connect my keyboard to my boyfriend's T330NU.
I tried rooting my tablet to see if it would help. It did not. I deleted the Bluedroid folder. That did not help. I tried turning my tablet on and off. That didn't help. I tried most of the Bluetooth keyboard apps on the Play marketplace, that did not help.
There aren't any custom ROMS for the T330NU, so I feel like I'm screwed. I NEED to be able to use a keyboard with my tablet. I'm waiting for the Stock ROM to download and MAY try that. But c'mon! I'm also going to try out an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard tomorrow, but if it doesn't work, I may pull out my hair. AGH! Any ideas?
hi,
from your post;
I'm also unable to connect my keyboard to my boyfriend's T330NU.

suggests the problem is the keyboard not the tab.
as far as i know bluetooth devices need batteries, perhaps that's the issue?

You were right! Weird! Battery fixed it!
Problem: Intermittent Bluetooth connection with my Prius C. Found two Bluetooth apps in system apps.
When I go into the bluetooth app to clear cache and data, I noticed TWO Bluetooth apps! One is version 8.0 which is appropriate since I've upgraded to Oreo. And, the second Bluetooth app is version 6.20.18. After trying everything I could think of to fix my connectivity issue, I'm at the point of a factory reset and rebuilding my device with hopes of resolution. But first, I wanted to ask if anyone else is seeing TWO bluetooth apps on their phones? Settings/Apps & Notifications/ Apps, then expand menu to show system apps.
Again, is anybody else seeing two bluetooth apps? Wouldn't this create a conflict with anything trying to connect? How can I delete the old app since they are both system apps? TIA
I've also got two apps. Enable Developer options and try to change Bluetooth - AVRCP version to AVRCP 1.4 (Default). After that my TomTom watch could connect to G6 without problems. Maybe it will be also a solution for your problem.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've done as suggested with mixed results. I unpaired my G6 from my Prius, deleted the G6 profile from the Prius and still got the BT connecting and then disconnecting. I didn't have time to reboot so I wonder if that may be my issue (cache memory?). I'll try that at lunch. However, after a minute or so, I was able to stream uninterrupted. Thanks for the suggestion and solution, hopefully
I'm having a similar issue with my G6 and a 2016 Subaru Outback. Keeps dropping the connection and connecting. Sometimes it is ok for a while. Sometimes it keeps doing it from the time I start the car. Worked great until 8.0 update. See thread here: https://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/138-gen-5-2015-2019/501767-bluetooth-connection-issues-lg-g6.html#post5728313
Update: Still having mixed results (when connecting to my Prius). so, after some connection back and forth, I have been successful with streaming Pandora and Amazon Prime for more than 20 minutes w/o interruption.
I've tried Google Play in the car and it's as if the connection is possessed. It's so unstable that it makes me believe Google Play is somehow responsible. Yet, my BT headphones connect and play without issue for over 1hr while mulching leaves.
I still don't fully understand how their can be 2 Bluetooth apps on my phone without any type of conflict, especially since they are different versions. I'm thinking that when my phone updated to Oreo, the old Bluetooth app/file didn't get removed.
@TheGs - Have you done a factory reset? If so, how many bluethooth files/versions on phone after reset? I was hoping a reset would fix this puppy. I too am on TMo/H872.
I still have two apps after a factory reset. (I'm just here because I've had bluetooth crashing after the latest OTA from T-mobile.)
UPDATE: having followed the suggestion from @adamz667 above, I changed the AVRCP to 1.3 and so far so good. Bluetooth just connects with no interruptions what so ever. Maybe this will help if you are having simiilar issue.
@lovecomplex - thanks for replying on the number of bluetooth apps you have after reset. Now that I seemingly have resolved my issue I see no need to reset at this point, Good Luck!
got a brand new G6. Bluetooth is broken out of the box. I can't stream anything to any bluetooth devices. Changing it to AVRCP 1.3 under Developer Options made streaming possible but it is choppy. I am on Nov 1 android security patch.
WTF LG? It is brand new, brand new!
