I can confirm that the tegra 2 flash apk leaked on droidlife does in fact work with adam. That said, hard o tell if the optimization makes a difference.

Can you provide a link to the specific APK you are referring to? Is it the one on this blog post targeted to Xoom owners?
That is the correct apk. Sorry was still getting used to the Adam keyboard

What version is pre-installed on the Adam? The issue with the Xoom has do with Honeycomb and not Tegra 2 since that's the same version that's on Atrix which works flawlessly.

As far as I understand, the Adam doesn't come with Flash out of the box... unfortunately, I immediately flashed my Adam with EdenX when I got it so I can't confirm that's true with the latest batches, but I would assume it is. Regardless, EdenX has a copy of Flash built in that is Tegra2 friendly.

Adobe has announced that Flash 10.2 will be available on the Market on March 18th. The have put together a list of phones that a capable of using 10.2 http://www.adobe.com/flashplatform/certified_devices/smartphones.html and the Vibrant (and Captivate) are not on that list. The Epic and Facinate are though. What gives here? Have we just been over looked or is there that much of a difference between say the Epic and Vibrant.

It should be noted the page makes no reference to Flash 10.2. Also the page was lasted edited in February 3, 2011.
AFAIK, flash 10.2 will only support honeycomb at release.
i hvae flash 10.2..
haha
had it for a day.
I found it somewhere on this section..
can't seem to find thread right now..
its the exact same, i don't see any speed improvements, any better visuals nothing.
I have it too. Got it from a leak on some web site. Works just fine on froyo. I'm on trigger.

yea im running flash 10.2 on my vibrant as well since yesterday. There was a link to it on Android central. Check it out on the main page, might be on page 2 by now.
Maybe it's not on the list because the Vibrant doesn't "officially" have froyo. Wasn't the released a voluntary update?
I have it too, just loads faster is all I notice

I think its because you still have 10.1 on your phone, and it is working over 10.2.

I uninstalled Flash 10.1 using root explorer and drop the new apk from Engadget source (post about Xoom 10.2 leak) and flash player works just fine. However,
I did NOT notice any improvement in performance or interface, the hold to go full screen feature, engadget talked about in their article doesn't work on the phone.
Most wont see much of an improvment as its been said the update contains things mostly for Honeycomb only.

Hey all, did not see this posted anywhere...if it was forgive and delete...voodoo for our beloved transformer...

Ok the market app is out in the market. It sideloads the sound modules so it looks like it's good to go for all versions.

supercurio was working with clemsyn on obtaining the source that clemsyn used to make a custom kernel for 3.1. So no, we do not need to wait on ASUS to release the source. ASUS does need to release it though, it would make things easier. You could see supercurio working on trying to obtain it in his kernel thread.

Pretty much no settings for the Transformer. However it was like that when i first bought it for my Galaxy Tab, so rest assured that everything will come.

Yes it makes a huge difference I have always used sc kernel on my galaxy s and the sound is phenomenal compared to stock, the recording presets also make a big difference, however the app does little on the tf for the moment but it wI'll come in time

Yes. Almost every Nexus S custom kernel includes Voodoo.
bought. Worth it for sure. Any chance of an equalizer being built in or are there other apps for it?
Like, the title says...I wonder what will happen to the I/O tab. No updates to touchwiz, will we get 3.2? Or will it be forgotten very quickly?
I am thinking it is forgotten. Remember there were/are at most 5000 of them. A very small percentage, and more then likely a large percentage are rooted and running custom ROMs at this point anyway (mine is not because I wanted to watch Google movies on it, but that turned out to be an epic fail, but more on that in another thread).
Since we got it for free, I can't really blame them, but I can still be disappointed I guess.

So the I/O got 3.2? Was it with or without Touchwiz?
I wouldn't say it was free. How much were the tickets, $900?

Didn't they get Nexus S phones aswell? .
I don't think the 10.1 I/O versions will get touchwiz, usualy developers for android wants a pure android experience?
The GIO is a developer build - which means it is great for custom ROMs - i am running Task's 3.2 ROM on it and it smooooooth and much more responsive than before
Can someone please confirm that the I/O got 3.2 also?

3.2 update was only for Retail tabs. I/O didn't get anything till now except for the Google movies update.
Well it got from 3.0 to 3.1 and the goog movie update.
But what is strange is that as a dev.device it doesnt get the 3.2 first. forgotten maybe?

We got to 3.1 with movies and no Touchwiz. I wouldn't be surprised if ICS turned up.

Well, it's not really like this tablet is google's "Nexus", right?
Yea i wouldn't say it is a dev tablet seeing as the xoom was the first out with HC all the major updates went to that tablet first. I think of it as a limited edition.

Indeed, now when you say it. I'm 99% sure that I heard someone from androids dev. team saying in a interview (when the xoom was new and everything was developed) that the Xoom was the tab everyone was "keeping in mind" when coding HC.
Just check with OTA and KIES.....still nothing on the I/O tab

Steve Kondik said this on G+ on Monday November 21th : https://plus.google.com/100275307499530023476/posts/hVw7ykmsvrx
So the 10.1 will have its official CM9 support as expected...it's good news anyway but it's not to say we'll get ICS that easily.
Our options are two :
- the CM team offers official support to the 10.1v as well. Don't hesitate to mention our device in the G+ post I've linked to.
- we'll get ports from the 10.1 CM9 ROM.
Our device just can't die software so soon...
finger crossed
In fact, we've got this time the kernel of ICS. So the dev doesn't need to build a rom from scratch, like previous.
As you an see on XDA is that there "plenty" of New ICS rom, for example i've got one on mu SGS...
We just need a dev. And the lib for the 8mpx camera.
So cross fingers

Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Well, getting ICS will be late in February/March time (at least that was the timeline given.) However..CM9 is just a totally diff story
A Cyanogenmod developer would have to take up the cause and have access to the device.

The 10.1 will definitely have CM9 support (see today's CM blog post) but how to get an official 10.1v support, I wonder...
Wow... I had no idea this 10.1v model existed and just read up about it. If I had bought one of these I would never purchase a Samsung product again. Officially it was never updated to even HC 3.1 and still runs 3.0.1? WTF?
It's mostly done (and it's awesome), only non-working thing right now is the camera. There is a non-technical issue that needs to be sorted before we can release anything for Tegra2, though.
You're talking about the 10.1v?

it will encompass all builds that the current hc3.2/3.1 kernel supports, with v and 7500 coming slightly later, as i round up testing for those devices once all is ready.

tegra 2 issue
I am a big fan of CM; and think this is what sets Android apart from Apple (infact beats the **** out of Appy...lol)
I am intrigued to ask though; when you say "non-technical" issue - hope this isn't a license/patent kind of issue?
I also heard, there was some issue with the GPU rendering? Is that correct?
Cheers.

I'm giddy with excitement.
So what does that mean for us zoom owners?
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
That since they are both tegra 2 it is possible we could get it ported over
Sent from my SCH-I510 using XDA App
Also to me it means that they were able to get the Radio enabled in ICS for Mobile Data, whereas it's still being worked on w/ the current ICS builds for the Xoom.
And hoping once it's up and running on the Galaxy Tab the port time to the Xoom should be minimal.
