I'v tryed both ROM's out and have found that the latest versions of Cronos Ginger x seem to be faster and a little bit more than the latest CM 7 on the Hero but would like to know what you guys guys think about both. I know both have there bugs but to me Cronos Ginger x seems more pure AOSP than CM 7 does now and i like the fact that Cronos Ginger x seems to be doing its own thing more and more unlike other ROM's that build of CM 7.
Cronos FTW
Cronos is way faster that CM7 amd is pretty much the same but a little more tweaks added go with Cronos i was running 2.4.0 but changed to Floyo because i'm too used to it
Good afternoon
I already have on my zte blade Cyanogenmod 7.1 android 2.3.7 rom and I am thinking of changing it to 2.3 gingerbread. Should I do it ? Is there any diference ?
CM7 is gingerbread. If you just mean should you change to another gingerbread rom, then look at the different threads for each and see if they have anything you want. If you don't see any advantages to changing, then stick with CM7.
Cm 7.1 is 2.3.7 which is gingerbread.
I think 7.1 is the best ROM for blade .
I agree. Thee CM 7.1 release is excellent. There are things you can do (like over clock your CPU) which Gingerbread won't do on its own. And there is much more.
There is also now an expected CM 7.2 release coming soon. And then CM9 which will be Android 4.0 (or Ice Cream Sandwich as they say). Its much easier to upgrade to newer CM Mods if you keep CM 7.
So I guess what I am saying is there is little advantage gained by using the Google Gingerbread release over Cyanogen.
I have been personally tested these roms and they been selected for their speed and stability.
1. TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 V3.2.1
2. NexusHD2-Gingerbread V2.7
3. BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA GINGER HoneycomB V20
4. NDT MIUI GINGER V9
5. LADY MIUI V8.3
Thank you enfeuman for the links & updates for these roms.

Out of interest, why choose the older versions? Gingerbread is pretty stable so there isn't any real need to select an older version as they're all very stable and fast. I don't know about the others but I know that Typhoon is past v3.8 right now and the one you listed is 3.2. It might give people the impression that v3.8 isn't as good, which simply isn't true.

Hey,
I want to get back to CM7 (I'm on 10.1 at the moment) as I hope to increase battery life and stability.
Is [GB][08-09-2012] CyanogenMod 7 for Motorola Milestone 2 (Android 2.3.7) the most elaborated version of CM7 or did I miss another one?
Thanks for your support!
