Cyanogenmod 7.1 or gingerbread - Blade General

Good afternoon
I already have on my zte blade Cyanogenmod 7.1 android 2.3.7 rom and I am thinking of changing it to 2.3 gingerbread. Should I do it ? Is there any diference ?

CM7 is gingerbread. If you just mean should you change to another gingerbread rom, then look at the different threads for each and see if they have anything you want. If you don't see any advantages to changing, then stick with CM7.

Cm 7.1 is 2.3.7 which is gingerbread.
I think 7.1 is the best ROM for blade .

I agree. Thee CM 7.1 release is excellent. There are things you can do (like over clock your CPU) which Gingerbread won't do on its own. And there is much more.
There is also now an expected CM 7.2 release coming soon. And then CM9 which will be Android 4.0 (or Ice Cream Sandwich as they say). Its much easier to upgrade to newer CM Mods if you keep CM 7.
So I guess what I am saying is there is little advantage gained by using the Google Gingerbread release over Cyanogen.

List of all ROMs for Galaxy Note

Hi,
I want to flash more than just stock ROMs on my Galaxy Note using Mobile Odin Pro.
From what I've read, it's best for me to stick with Gingerbread Roms for the moment because flashing Ice Cream Sandwich Roms back to Gingerbread Roms can be more than just tricky.
Here's a list of ROMs that I know of so far.
GingerBread ROMs
Chrack´s Rom
Criskelo Rom
Darky Rom
KingDroid
Rocket Rom
Cassies XtraLite
Midnote
Ice Cream Sandwich ROMs
MIUI Livewings Edition
imilka's AOSP ICS
Criskelo's ICS V1
MIDNOTE 2.0
Codename Android 1.5.5
Rocket ICS
ICS Stunner Beta
Stock Roms
Stock ROMs
Can you let me know if I'm missing anything, or may have mistyped anything or misplaced them in the wrong category?
Cheers!

Have you looked in the nand section? Take your pick, there are eclair roms froyo roms gingerbread roms, honeycomb roms, icecreamsandwiCJ roms and jellybean roms. I can tell you that jellybean is so close to totally stable, its easily useable as a daily driver.
JB 4.1.1

new life for an older phone? (Any new roms for MTS3G ?)

Ok, obviously the MTS3G is an older phone - and i think im currently running cm7 (gave phone to my mom) but was wondering if there was any new headway on people running 4.0+ ASOP on the device or what not?
I came across the zeubea thread "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1944550" but is any development still being done on this device ? Is anybody running the unofficial JB on here - or should i hold out for a new official CM release (such as CM10) for the MT3GS (or will this official CM release most likely never happen) ?
Guess Im just looking for a stable ROM that can be used in this device on a daily basis that utilizes a more recent AOSP release.
There will not be any further major updates from official cm, but zeaubas should work fine

Jelly bean Rom suggestions?

Hi This is the first time i'm about to Flash a Rom to my Wildfire A3333
Can you suggest me a Rom based on this criteria s given below.
1) Stability and Most function should work
2) I like the stock Default appearance of android.
3) My main intention is just to upgrade to the latest Rom of Android (Bug free)
4) I prefer Jelly bean. But if there is no stable / Bug free Rom suggest me others but above gingerbread.
5) It should not lower the battery life.
If there is none available as i expected i will go ahead with cyanogenmod 7.2 stable which could upgrade my froyo to gingerbread
What your suggestion on that?
Thanks in advance.
If there

well, Jelly Bean is actually out of the question.. JB roms are not quite usable as daily driver.
That leaves us with ICS or GB.
ICS roms do come with a little bit more battery drain, and arent as fast as GB roms. but they are usable and quite stable. I would recommend AOKP light by Wasimk32 or MiniCM9 by Jordafaz.
now GB ROM are the best option to go for. Cynogen ROMs have a decent battery life, so it haven't been a issue for me, at least.
you could try CM7 from this site.
http://get.cm/?device=buzz
And there are modified versions of CM7, which are found in the Devolopment section.
hope this helps
Cheers...
