Bricked m600

ok i think iv killed my m600
i flashed it with the older imate rom the 1.0.9 version
it installed 100% and rebooted and from ther it was stuck on the imate screen for like 10 minutes and i see the following text in red on the top left corner

i tried removing the battery and restarting the fone. still the same thing. can someone please please please help me with this?
what do i do?
im sure orange wont help me out since i flashed it with a non-orange rom.

hi there i seem to have the same problem as you with the boot screen. top left corner say's

can you please tell me how you fixed yours please it would be a great help

What you could do is flash it with an newer rom
Hold camera button AND reset (be asure that it hold it while resetting)
Then... you are in you bootloader... connect the PDA with your PC..it will recognized it!
Then run the romupdate ;-)

Aren't you getting "USB" written in the bottom left corner of the 3 colour screen when you connect it to USB?

Yes i get the USB come up at the bottom of the screen my computer does not do anything. can you tell me which ROM i will need as the ones i have to run the ROM update but it comes back saying connect to ActiveSync which i can not do is there a way round this?

Final got my SPV M600 Working with the ROM from the download area thanks for the help anyway

CID unlock from bootloader ?

I have original HTC Advantage 7500 not branded with Spanish windows . After tried to update with English RUU my htc Advantage stuck in 3 colors boot-loader mode. Any resets(soft, hard, boot-loader) not help.
Than I find this suggestion here I tried it and it help:
I think you are not stuck in bootloader, I think you are stuck in the Flash
ROM utility which has colors and not just the Dopod logo with a black scree.
If this is the case, here it is what I did to solve this:
I downloaded ruu_athena_dopodasia_wwe_1.24.707.3_105_6275_1.32.
00.10_108_ship, which you already did.
Decompiled the RUU_signed.nbh contained inside
ruu_athena_dopodasia_wwe_1.24.707.3_105_6275_1.32. 00.10_108_ship with
dutty's good NBH tool found at: http://forum.xda-
developers.com/showthread.php?t=296316 then I created a new RUU_signed.nbh
with the same files but it didn't allowed me to insert some items like the
SIRFBootLoader.nb and some others, so I started executed the
ROMUpdateUtility.exe again and it stopped again at 1% but with a different
error "Corrupted ROM Image" and suddenly! My device was taken out of the
Flash Utility to see the bootloader screen again! Wow! What a relief!

this is done!
after that my Spanish OS reloaded and I can to do ActiveSync with PC - Than I find the suggestion in this thread how to flash any ROM to CID locked and I tried it and after 5 min connecting error occurred . After hard resetting after this "update", after the HTC boot screen I just get a white screen. The HTC does make a sound as if it's working and BT and WiFi leds blink. When device connected to PC the HTC does make a sound as if it's working, but the ActiveSync with PC not work, it write that can't to connect to mobile device. And I just can't see anything just white screen.
I can't find Spanish HTC Advantage 7500 not branded RUU in all World.
So I need cid unlock without ActiveSync - from bootloader?!
Please help(I also ready to help - I will send donate).

Htc p3400 hanged at start up page onyl

Dear Please help my PDA HTC p3400 has hanged at started up only at front screen only it is not moving further. i had done hard restet also then also not working. Please help me out .

Try to bootup without the SD card (and may be SIM), I had this problem with my Vox, the SD Card was corrupted. After formatting the SD Card, everythig became normal.

i have made the upgrade to wm5 to wm6.1
the pda at the first time has booted and i have configured the regional time and the pen alignment until the the screen that says Setup complete, click to proceed (or something like this).
After this, it gets stuck on the windows mobile 6.1 boot screen
i have made the re-update with the same rom update.
the problem persists!
I have made with/without sd card and sim.
Now when it boots apears
ONBL 1.07.0000
SPL 1010.olip
GSM 02.84.90
OS 1.17.0.0
then changes for the wm6.1 boot screen
and stucks here

hi
assuming ur phone is just dead ie just blank screen do this
1.power off the phone remove batter and press the power button 3 secs
2.put batter back in to the phone
3.Press camera button and then power on at the same time u will get tricolor
used usb and Flash new ROM
or press camera button and do soft reset using stylus this will also give u the tricolor use USB and flash new ROM

Everything was running fine till I soft reseted the device. On soft reset it stucks at the start up screen
On boot it shows following

GSM 02.79.90
OS 1.17.0.0
Then it shows the windows animations and then it hangs.
This has happned to me twice.
I had installed following applications after the ROM upgrade. Does any application creating a problem
1) HTC Home (6 tab plugin)
2) S2U2,S2P,S2V
3) Quick Menu
4) Opera Mini
5) TCPMP with many codecs

I had tried that also but not able to recover I had to burn the ROM again .
I am scared now to soft reset my gene. Never know when it will get hanged again. (pls note that it does not hang on every soft reset).
I liked the new ROM (6.1 pro Sumeet) so much. It is fast and have left enough room to add/execute other applications. I have read so many good comments about the ROM. I do not want to change it to any other version.
Please.. please try to get some solution.

HTC ELF 0300 problem!

I have HTC ELF 0300 that freezes on the T-mobile logo when i try to power on!!!
I tried with hard reset,but that not helped.
I can't make ActiveSync connection with my PC!
I try with connecting the phone in bootloader mode,but still can't make ActiveSync comunication!
Any advice???

No! It just goes to operator logo and blocks on it!

When you are in bootloader mode.
Does windows xp or vista detect that?
Activesync ONLY LOADS in normal mode, not bootloader.

No,windows doesn't detect the phone in bootloader mode!

My vista pc will.
But have to install Windows Mobile Device Centre first.

When I connect in bootloader mode I tried with many Rom updaters but every time I get this message 'The update utility can not be used with your PDA Phone.Please get newer update utility'
I tried with update utility 3.27.4.3 an lower versions.
Is there newer version?

What is your phone's IPL and SPL?
Before you start your phone, press the power and camera key together, it will boot up a multi colour-ed screen and it will report the IPL and SPL to you there

Can you sync your htc to other pc's?
Reinstall activesync.
and your ipl and spl is way too old.
During the meantime, read the other threads.
Will be going to camp in 14 hrs time and its almost 1am here.
So yeah.

I've tried to sunc with other PC's too,but the same result! when i start some Rom Update Utility it gives me that I should try with newer version.

Hello somebody could help the other day I came across a ELF0300 phone and also the problem that would crash the machine operator in the Logo.
inquired the previous administrator of the system can not be installed on it.
handheld device is excellent by the way the externally,and we need to somehow fix

I try to answer... (sorry for my bad english)
1. Make sure your battery up to 50%, 100% is recommended...
2. turn off u'r PPC
3. press camera,talk, and power button at the same time for a second until your display show 3 colour....
4. plug your cable data from PPC to desktopPC, and make sure your display show "USB", and try to re-flash with other ROMS.....

I have a Wizard G4 and I tried to install a WM6.5 ROM (TechTeamup Mega Wizard rom) from the default WM5. I did not put in the hard-spl (as I now read) before I tried to flash. Now when it boots, I go strait to the flash screen (tri-color) screen. I tried ot run the hard-spl-G4 and it says it cannot find a device. I have tried to re-flash back to WM5 ROMs that I have found, however it says it cannont complete "ERROR 296: UPGRADE ONLY, which makes me belive I need a G4 Wizard ROM that is a full (not upgrade). What steps should I take now to revert back to a WM5 so I can re-try the "unlock" hard-spl proceedure to make the phone WM6 compatible?
Anyone have any suggestions?

Download the original ship ROM for your phone.
Turn the phone off.
Press and hold the Camera key, now insert the USB cable, Keep holding the camera key until you get the boot loader screen.
Now run the ROM update to flash back to WM5.

I brick my wizard too... What happened was I flashed my own cook of m6r5 it say successful but on reboot, it shows htc logo then stays ay tricolor screen:

IF u can enter bootloader...connect to pc...u shud c "USB" written in the left bottom corner ...then flash a rom as usual
