[q] tmous hd2 help!

Is it possible for someone to post the newest ROM upgrade with the extracted renamed nbh file? I don't readily have access to a computer, will be flashing from the micr sd card. Thanks!
Are you sure? If you flash a stock ROM via SD it will overwrite the SPL.. just fyi.
Yes...
Yes, my current ROM is giving me the fits, so thought for now, a stock version would have to suffice. Coupled with no computer access, my last choice seems to flash the latest TMOUS LEOIMG.nbh from the micro-sd card. Having trouble locating such a file...
Try downloading PocketRAR or even most file explorers (resco and I think TC) can extract zips.. then just extract the nbh and rename it leoimg.nbh. I would upload it for you but don't have the time right now.. sorry :/
Thanks...
I have tried installing PocketRAR to no avail. Resco file explorer can't seem to extract the necessary file(s). If there is someone out there that can provide some information on how to perform such action, or even post the correct LEOIMG.nbh file, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

[Q] anyone mind extracting the rfs files from JMA firmware?

I dont have access to a linux box and I think in order to flash the latest JMA firmware from samfirmware i need to extract the rfs files in order to load them up via odin...if im completely off please disregard or point me to the correct path..
if any helpful souls out there that wouldnt mind extracting the files and uploading them here?
thanks
Im just a noob trying to flash the latest JMA firmware on my JM6 tab
thanks again..
EDIT - Thank you all for explaining it:
For anyone else presented with the same issue; use the zipped JMA file in odin in the PDA box and the pit file located at the bottom of the samfirm page when flashing the latest JMA firmware.

Extract them yourself by opening the file with 7Zip or WinZip. They're just archives.
Also - Should be in the General section.

thanks for the tips. I just installed both winzip and 7zip and could not extract the factory.rfs file with either.....
im guessing I have to extract the factory.rfs file and zip as a tar file for odin right?

The file you download is a zip file. Unzip it. There should be a tar file in there, tar is an archive format (similar to the way zip is, only it's uncompressed), so use 7zip or other unarchiving software to untar the file. There will be all of the JMA files including the RFS images contained in the tar file.

I see, so i downloaded a ziped file from samfirmware with the JMA firmware, unziped it down and got the pit file but there were no tar files in there for me to use in odin under the PDA box.
when flashing JMA what file do i put in PDA box? i pressume thats the only file i will use besides the pit file given that i dont want to replace the modem (phone) file...
I'm sorry if this is not making any sense

Use the JMA file here on XDA. Extra JMA.tar. Select that file ALONE as PDA. No repartition, PIT, Phone or CSC. It'll update PDA, Phone and CSC automatically.
If it doesn't reboot on its own after flash is complete, reboot into recovery.
You should be upgrading to JMA from JM6.
If you still need to extract/unpackage RFS->
Reffer to my guide here
Cheers

[ROM] Stock JMI PDA with JMG CSC & JK5 modem

I packaged up a mix of the stock JMI PDA, JMG CSC and JK5 modem for my own Tab and thought I'd post a download link in case anyone would like to try it. The JMI PDA is stock, I haven't altered it at all. The JMG CSC has carrier data for UK carriers amongst others (the CSC that comes with JMI is only Russia). The JK5 modem is the stock one for UK supplied Tabs so (theoretically) should be best suited for UK mobile providers. The ROM can be rooted with SuperOneClick and it's nice and fast. The only issue is that you have to copy and paste a folder called T9DB into /system after the flash otherwise the Samsung keypad doesn't work properly. I've attached a zipped up copy of the folder here, just unzip it, copy it to your SD card and use something like Root Explorer to copy in into /system. Samsung have included the T9DB folder in their CSC file instead of the factoryfs file this time (why???).
Here's the link to download the ROM package. Note that it does not contain bootloaders! I have only included factoryfs.rfs, param.lfs, zimage, cache.rfs and modem.bin in the package. When I flashed it onto my Tab it didn't overwrite any of my settings and all my applications were still present and working, it just removes Root and resets your home screen. http://www.multiupload.com/5L68OTH9QY
Flash as PDA with Odin 1.7. Select no PIT file and do not re-partition.

Need INU India gt-9500 original MEA sys file

Can anybody provide me with the original sysytemui file found in system/apps as I have replaced with the modified without the backup and it is continuosly showing the message that sysui has stopped
Plz
If nobody provides the single systemui.apk you can try to extract it from original firmware by using [WINDOWS][TOOL]Android ICS JB EXT4 ImageFile Unpacker!!! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1921399
Make a copy from your extracted i9500MEA firmware and rename .tar.md5 into zip.
Then extract system.img.ext4 an unpack with above-mentioned tool.
