Phone Stuck in Endless Stock Recovery Loop! - Fascinate General

I used the DI01 restore files from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=782204
and the .pit file from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=878620
1. I first flashed the System partition with the Re-Partition option checked and the .pit file.
2. The I flashed the kernel (no pit or re-partition)
3. Finally I flashed the modem (again, no pit or re-partition)
Odin reports all three completed sucessfully, but when I power the phone on, I get and endless loop into Stock Recovery.
HALP?

first off, why did you check the re-partition? Odin is to be used without touchiong anything except pda and start (at least for fascinate)
Try using Odin for DL09 full package and you wont have to flash anything but one thing.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=911677

I used the re-partition option because I was having issues with DBDATA partition corruption and flashing back to DI01 didn't fix it.
Flashing DL09 now....

DL09 flashed successfully, still goes straight to Stock Recovery.

Try flashing this package: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=867648
yeah never touch anything in odin except the pda button and start. If i could get source code for it i would take out those buttons and recompile.

I was able to get into CWM Recovery and when I do a data wipe, I get the following errors:
Formatting DATA...
Formatting DATADATA....
E: Can't mount /dev/block/stl10 (File Exists)
Error mounting /datadata/
Skipping format...
Formatting CACHE:...
Formatting SDEXT:...
Formatting SDCARD:/.android_secure...
Data wipe complete.
running a backup also fails at trying to mount /dev/block/stl10.

That's the one I'm using.

you try a different sd card yet?

I have not tried a different SD card. from what I'm seeing it doesn't seem to be the culprit. Looks like the fact it can't mount the DBDATA partition is holding things up.
I'm restoring using Andrenalyn's DI01 package.
EDIT: Full DI01 package failed at movinand.bin

It's Alive!!
I was able to flash the full DI01 package using Heimdall, excluding the movinand.bin portion.

try eb01 heres a link.

awesome! hope your done sweating bullets...

Fingers crossed. We'll see if the original DBDATA partition corruption is still there. That's what cause this whole mess.
Just out of curiosity, why is the movinand.bin the only part that fails when I flash the DI01 package?
thanks everyone for your help!

error mounting /data- brick? LOL

I tried reflashing a sense 3.0 2.3.3 rom because of some minor issues. Now I may have nuked my /data partition. first it wouldn't format so I pulled battery numerous times. and Mounted it through mounts and storage menu, then I hit format, and it formatted, so I hit mount again and flashed the rom. and when I restarted the phone after splash screen the phone restarted and went into recovery
Tried everything including mounting /data again and it keeps saying error mounting /data. am I screwed?
I have .2007 eng bootloader btw. shoud I try the pd15img?

I don't think you need to do that. You could do a fastboot erase, then go back into recovery and wipe data to reformat it /data, effectively starting from nothing.

Now I am getting mount /cache errors. aww man I think my phone is done....
edit: used the pd15img and I am back on stock :| s= off but I have the stock bootloader wtf.... how do I get my eng bootloader back?
this is how I fixed it:
I was on eng bootloader, but then I got reverted back to the stock bootloader.
This is how I encountered the problem. first of all I was having issues with raffy's fusion 3.0 rom, so I decided to reflash it, but it wouldn't flash or format /data, then I mounted it to through mounts and storage on the latest cwm 3.0.2.4 and hit format.
After that I tried reflashing his rom, it flashed but, after splashscreen I was redirected to my recovery instead. that's when I freaked because when I tried mounting data it said error cannot mount /data. so I fired up adb and did fastboot erase system -w and it erased it including cache.
then I popped up into recovery and BOOM started having cache mount errors experienced by a lot of people lately.
I thought I was SOL, but nope I downloaded the pd15img from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=V4NAODYZ
and put it on the root of my sd card and it worked....
so if anyone of you dudes are having similar problems try that ^

try flashing jvu from samfirmware with odin3 v1.82 and pit512 with repartition
after you get PASS, restart the phone and wait until some processes will complete, the phone will automatically reboot, then take out & insert back the battery.
after that continue as usual with the flashing of custom kernel like semaphore 2.5.0.
now you'll be able to install custom roms

Bootloop after Nand Erase All in Odin

Please help.
I'm stuck on bootloop after flashing stock XXUAME2 rom with Odin.
The reason is - I checked/enabled the "Nand Erase All" before flashing. I know, stupid. But what should I do now to unbrick it?
Well, firstly I successfully flashed stock ME2 over my MDM with Odin. But all my stuff was still there (apps, huge files and so on - which I already backed up on my pc) and my memory was almost full. So I wanted to clean everything before flashing TWRP and a custom rom. And then I checked the freaking Nand Erase.
Now, I tried to flash TWRP and do a factory reset/full wipe, but couldn't even enter into recovery mode (vol up+home+power) - it shows "GT-I9505 logo" with small blue text "recovery mode" on top of the screen and then it quickly returns to power off state (with battery charging animation).
The Download/Odin mode is working, thank God. But flashing a stock rom from Odin doesn't solve the problem of bootloop.
I've read that after a nand erase it is needed to flash a PIT file to fix it. Any suggestions where to download it? What version of a PIT file should i look for?
Thank you, guys in advance.
I dont think it will do the job.
I think that nand erase has wiped partitions data.
Any way try with pit. It is in my signature. (Choose right pit file)

Thank you, but flashing PIT didn't work - I made everything according your instructions. Still bootloop.
Maybe I need to reflash Bootloader/Phone/CSC?

go into recovery, if it is possible, wipe data and cache, then flash with odin the stock firmware in pda with the pit file in pit window. just check auto reboot, f.reset and re-partition. when it say "pass" remove battery, re-insert it, go to recovery, wipe data and cache reboot.
im afraid that ticking "nand erase all" in odin, usually lead to a hard brick!

if it didnt work, unzip attached file and flash "param_I9505.tar" in pda. (without pit file)(dont tick re-partition)

Duuude! It worked!!!!
Even without flashing param partition. Just the first step:
go into recovery (I flashed CWM with Odin), if it is possible, wipe data and cache, then flash with odin the stock firmware in pda with the pit file in pit window. just check auto reboot, f.reset and re-partition. (then it went into bootloop as usual and after a moment Odin said "pass") when it say "pass" remove battery, re-insert it, go to recovery (the recovery at that moment returned to stock), wipe data and cache reboot.

Sure! And for the next time what exactly should I pick from recovery to erase everything? apart from wipe data/cashe/factory reset? There are also some format options in advanced menu (format system, data, cashe, dalvik cashe and so on). Or I should not touch anything there anymore? )))

no need for format system..
if you format system, then it must be a ready custom rom in your sd card to flash via cwm. or you must flash stock via odin.
wiping data and cache and dalvik is enough
Thanks very much everyone who partisipated in this thread! You saved me a lot of time and a lot of effort! I was stuck in the boot screen because i formated the whole system. I tried that solution and worked for me! Thanks very very much!

you dont need param file just redo this:
go into recovery, if it is possible, wipe data and cache, then flash with odin the stock firmware in pda with the pit file in pit window. just check auto reboot, f.reset and re-partition. when it says "pass" remove battery, re-insert it, go to recovery, wipe data and cache reboot.

if stock recovery didnt work at first, flash any custom recovery and make the wipe.
it is important to use pit file with the firmware.

Unbrick Galaxy S5

I'm trying to restore this Galaxy S5 back to stock but allow me to give some back story.
It was meant to be simple, I have the correct stock recovery files from samfirmware. I load up Odin and begin to flash it as routine. I watch as it goes through all the steps and checks out just fine, but right at the end when it flashes the Modem.bin it fails.
So I attempt to flash a modem file on its on first. Same thing, immediately fails. Saying auth fail in Odin.
Then I flash Philz onto the phone so I can wipe Partition cache and Dalvik to try again. When I was in there, I went to advance > and unmount /Firmware-Modem but all I get is ERROR MOUNTING /FIRMWARE-MODEM
I don't know if it's possible that it's hardware faulty [failing NAND as an example. The phone has some other strange quirks going on with it too]
Any suggestions would be amazing. I don't know where to go from here at all seeing as that seems to be the road block.

Tried doing Lollipop update, broken filesystem.

Hello. I tried doing the 5.0 update to my tablet using the factory images. It failed on sending /system and now the whole tablet isn't working. I loaded Philz, to wipe the whole tablet, and it errors mounting /data and /system when attempting to wipe. I have tried wiping everything in every way, and nothing. I cannot get anything to flash on the tablet. Any help?

Maybe try with latrst version of twrp instead of Philz.
Flash TWRP
Wipe
Advanced wipe
Select system
Repair or change file system
Repair
Let it do its thing, then flash your ROM.
Send your thanks to @Paramesh96. He gave me this advice on my thread. Still haven't been able to flash factory images. But I can get my tablet up & running again with this guide
I could do this, but I have no way of moving a zip file to the tablet.
