Hi ladies,
after searching the threads about bootloader mode and activesync I didnt find a working solution for me. I just received a new HD2 with WM and have had a couple of failed boots - I just resetted the phone and started over. This is working more or less 1-2 times before failing the boot mode again.
So i wanted to install magldr and secondly android rom (DHD), but I cant activesync in bootloader mode in the first place. ofc the display beneath the htc logo shows 0% all the time. What can i do? Unfortunately I dont understand what others said to do in this case (RUU, HSPL )
Can some1 pls explain me what to do?

I have a herm200 and when it boots up it stops at the HTC screen. I can get it into the bootloader screen by pressing the power and ok button at the same time as a soft reset but activesync thru usb will not connect to it. So I am at a loss on how to flash the rom or get this to load. Any help would be appreciated.

i have been able to try and load a new rom but i keep getting a error [262] when i use the update utility.
any suggestions would be great!

I recommend reading through the wiki and also search the forum, you would have answered your question in minutes without needing to ask
I actually did alot of reading on this site but sometimes finding information here is a little bit harder than you think. So thanks for the link to the thread. After a few tries i was able to fix the phone.

I found it in forum, how to reset.
But problem is not solved.
When i hard reset it, after set up customization, i get same screen.
Serial

And if i try to attach it with computer.
It displays on screen

Any solution please.

DO you get the multi coloured boot loader screen ?
If you have then you can reflash the rom yourself and put it right
Read the stickies to find out how to do it

No i do not get multi colored screen during hard reset.
How to put it in bootloader mode? I try but do not get.

Magician bootloader has no multicolor bootloader. When you see Serial/USB v1.02 you already are in bootloader! If you'd read the Wiki you'd have known!
Furthermore I'm pissed at people who ask dumb question a thousand times (oooh mommy, how do I pee?) and then have the nerves to simply answer their own threads with "Oooh... I found out" - end. They should either be quiet or correctly answer their stupid questions fully (ok mommy... although my trousers are already wet I found that white thingy in the bathroom). That would help other dummies searching for their simple answer. But wait, newbies don't search - I forgot.
And now to those ppl who want to come to first-posters defence: there's no excuse. You can't miss instructions for the first steps. And newbies usually don't ask which CPU register points to the stack.

Please try the steps mentioned in this Wiki page. If it stops in the middle with an error you probably have an hardware error and are out of luck. If you succeed you should have a "brand new" Magician.

i just want to know what do u mean by EXE file when u say : Before trying any of the below, put your Magician into Bootloader mode (Power + Camera + HOLD Soft Reset) and run the EXE file directly

Sorry, i know there so many posts about this problem, but i can't understand it very well, sorry for that.
Here's my problem:
The JasJam that i have says "No GSM", so i tried to fix it, i searched the net for possible solutions, so luckily i found one, well i thought that was the answer, unfortunately i think i downloaded SPL version 7 (which i think is not the right thing to do) then when i was upgrading it, "tricolour bootloader" appears, and then next screen was loading and it is 0%.. then the ERROR #somethng appear, and it stucked on the tricolour bootloader, i tried to fix it again, i tried to upgrade the ROM, SPL, and all because im so hopeless already. Next problem is ActiveSync 4.5 can't detect the jasjam, i tried everything, different PC, laptop and different USB cable as well, i update its .NET framework also, but still there's no connection..

Hi,
I made a HSPL and it's succesfull cause i saw "we hacked it" on screen, than i download a rom from htc's site and install it successfully and than my device turned off.
I tried all of the button variations but unable to open my phone again. I tried the hard reset (volume down+on) and etc.
And still no sign of living
I tried another battery which is working and still a NO. I tried to charge it and no amber or green light appears.
But i find out when i connect the device to pc with usb, it gives me a sign of living that my 64 bit win 7 tries to install a driver called Qualcomm CDMA Tech. MSM driver. But unable to install it too.
Please tell me what to do cause i need to give this phone working to my cousin.

Yes it's a Tmobile US HD2
but the rom isn't tmous.and it won't have a .50. radio.
unlucky. theres a thread sticky at the top of the tmous section with a possible new brick fix. don't know ifit's this problem,but worth a look.

I read that topic now but i couldn't understand how will i open the device to bootloader status cause i tried it million times and no sign of living from my leo
first i have to put the device on bootloader but this is my problem
yeai've just been reading it too. seems it's for a different problem.
your only hope then is take it back.

Seriously though, please use the forum's search function before posting yet another thread.
On topic, your bricked. The brick fix only works if you can actually get to the bootloader: which you can't do because you installed the wrong ROM. The only current solution is to send it back to T-Mobile and play dumb.

i put a rom on my phone it looked like it was working whem i came back my phone was black so i thought it was off so i thought it will turn on so i tryed turning it on it dosent at all i also tryed hard resr hold up and down to manufacter reset and nothing it stays black but when i connect it to my computer it says its connected but nothing pops up please help im only 13 and my parents r going to scream the living hell out of me so work hard and help or even send me a free htc hd2 thanks
actually ur phone bricked.only the solution is jtag method to getting bootloader.better u have to give this expert tech in any service centre........
ok guys I have a real problem..
I tried to upgrade from wm 6.1 to 6.5 with a guide from this forum.
I am new so I started searching a guide to unlock my htc.
I found one and after following all the steps correctly I unlocked it BUT after some seconds, the phone restarted.. And from that moment stacks on smart mobility and then again restart.. when I plug in the usb cable the led turns on orange and after some seconds disappears and then comes again on.. I tried to hard reset the device but nothing happened.. still have the problem.. I searched the forum but I didn't found something familiar... please help!

Tried reset, tried hard reset, tried installing the default rom and again nothing.. still stacked on smart mobility..
Go to "search this forum" enter "stuck in smart mobility" and you'll get many results, read them all and see how ppl solved this.
