I find my self keep coming back to this rom. I am not sure how many xda members had the honor of this great 2.2 rom. I have tryed many different roms. Does any one know of any Froyo roms that are just as fast and snappy? The rom must be able to handle 1.5 oc. ! Has any one else had the chance to use this rom, If so..what did u think of it?

Just about every froyo rom is snappy an it's not the rom that can't handle Oc it's phone some phones can do more than others
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
And its the kernel that decides whether the phone can oc or not...
You want snappy? Go to cm7...thats godly fast
Sent from a cell tower to the XDA server to you.
I have personal issues with cm7. It don't like me

Team Toxic Presents "Toxic Crazy8" Froyo Gone Crazy on Ginger"
It has some features that will give you what you want like..
Tweak to make phone stop attempting signal location once strongest signal is found.
Build prop edit to make phone sleep in standby (decreasing battery drain)
More edits and tweaks to optimize speed and stability.
V6 Supercharge Option
You get scriptmanager app to apply whichever script from the v6 supercharge that you want.. the more aggressive, the less apps it keeps in memory, the less apps, the more snappy-- any running app gets as much ram as it might need so doesn't slow down. The tradeoff.. if you want to go to a previously running app, it won't continue where it left off like you might with stock memory profiles. NOTE: it doesn't work like an auto task killer, it decides how the OS allocated the ram.
Just flash the same kernel you are already using over that rom. The best part of it is, that rom does have exceptional battery life, so if you are going to overclock.. then that rom would be a good marriage for the combo of snappy performance and longevity.
Same as Naturallight here, CM just doesn't work on my phone.
I've tried every install method available and it just sits there twitching like it's having some sort of fit
None of the habitatc buttons work, they won't even light up, gps doesn't lock at all (it can't even see 1 satellite) 911 doesn't work at all.
I don't know what all the hubub is about but from where I'm sitting, CM is worse than going back to 1.1 stock

In terms of stability, built-in features, battery life, performance and anything else important that I might have forgotten, which of the below three ROMs is top dog? Just so you know, I plan on flashing the non-overclocked GPU version of _motley's Linaro kernel regardless of which ROM I choose.
Paranoid Android
Glazed
JR6

I'm running paranoid myself but the best advice I've read when people ask this question is try them all. What's best means to me might not be what it means to you. I've tried all three myself and they were all stable, I like paranoid because of the per app density feature it has. It was just updated again today btw. Motleys kernel is awesome I like the one without gpuoc. Good luck, happy flashing
Thanks for the advice. Also, I have another question for anybody who can answer. These three ROMs seem to be mostly similar in terms of features, so it's actually kind of hard telling the differences. So, what I'm trying to ask is, what sets each ROM apart?

Does anyone know the answer to this? I used JR5, EOS now PA. They are all very similar, as you would expect. PA has more config options for setting up tablet UI which is key for me and the reason I use it currently (with Nova Launcher).
I liked JRX Roms as they have lots of apps inbuilt that the others dont, ie working Flash, GAPPS etc.
I'm also using Trinity kernel which is working great, again, I have not noticed much difference between them all.
Try them and take your pick
I say EOS with Mortley kernel
After I flashed smooth rom with motley kernel the performance menu is missing ?
I flashed v 5.0 and the performance menu is there .. anyone could tell me its supported in v5.2 or not ?
Just use a 3rd party app to control kernel parameters.
I really don't think a kernel can just make a ROM feature vanish just like that! Check with other kernels.

I tried with the other kernels in the rom like trinity kernel . its not a feature in v5.2 it needs an app like setcpu to work
My point exactly.
I started smooth using 5.0 w franco loved it till I got tired of goo yelling at me to upgrade.
I moved to 5.1 and started reading that franco had gone john rambo so the consensus seemed to go with the m kernal instead, the developer recommended trickster mod in conjunction. I used both and thought neither fit well with 5.1 because I started getting serious heat as well as my screen going yellow. It could be both but my hardware was fine before that build and I did make sure to keep the juice turned down. not even Col samuel Trautman can save that nexus. watch out for that M kernal it was running 300 faster than it should have at boot 5 days ago. If I were a betting man that could be one reason if it wasnt an accident something also was wrong with the orientation of the navigation bars in the couple hours I got to play with it. Good luck
edit: Both of those kernels were good not maniacs who snap and run into the woods(sorry again I was not implying that at you folks who work hard on them), it was very a smooth experience but the kernels felt like hotrods in the store I was shopping for a gas efficient hybrid. he said he just wanted to be left alone nobody listened
Hello Guys,
We're now with a lot good ROMS and Kernels and I already have used different ones. Which one of that have your own quality, possibility and speed. So I want to open this thread to know which ROM and Kernel (CPU Clock and I/O) do you use and why you use this, for day use, for game, etc.:good:
 I know that you can love one specific ROM but let be out of this and share the really experience.
Thanks.
Hey guys im really sorry for making this threat but i cant decide wich rom is up to date and good for my usage or wich one is the "best" at all.. well im not really sorry for this threat.. neither for the people who might flame me because i don't get into it..
at this time i use sixperience and got horrible battery lifetime.. i use the kernel wich comes with the rom.. before i used xtresto(?) with mighty kernel.. with that combination i got a good battery life but sometimes i got app crashes and some unnormal background aktivation..
so tell me whats your favorite ROM and Kernel combination..
Thanks for any answer
