[Problem] Lockscreen hanging phone - Windows Mobile

I'm using lockscreen WM6.5. When I locking screen and sleep phone. After ~30-60min I can't wake up phone. Display is turn off only keyboard is lighting.
I tried lockscreen.dll from bulid 29007 and 21889, but without solution.
I cooked ROM using osKitchen Zero:
WM 6.5.5 build 23563
OEMDrivers Kaiser 3.57

Plemnik, I suppose your issue has no connection to lockscreen type you're using. From my experience it happens because of some bad clusters in your NAND-Flash ROM chipset. Try to perform Task29 and then flash your rom without hard reset at the end of customization. I got that issue only once flashing my phone with Task28 (regular ruu update process with hard-reset at the end).
Usually I perform Task29+Task32 (custom ruu update without hard reset) - and I get no bugs of such type....
Of course - I assume that your rom is without overlapping and so on.....

Ok, but how use this Task29 on Kaiser corectly, I don't have vol-down button like on Leo (I have scroll)?
And this problem is not only on my Kaiser.

thank you...

can't exit phone app

hello, i have a problem with shutting down the phone application (not the actual phone). no matter what i do (except soft reset) it just can't be turned off.
my hardware: dopod 828, t-mobile rom 1.13, radio 1.13 (had the same problem with rom/radio 1.12)
I sometimes have this too.. (same rom btw).
Use Vijay's Phone toggle Program, here http://www.vijay555.com

Display problem on my touch hd

Since then voila I install a rom for the first time I have a bug here is a picture to help you understand
It is an image that I have requests in the forum but am in all its images
More information please!
We need more information!
Are you using SPL or USPL?
What ROM did you flash?
Did you perform a hard reset after flashing the ROM?
If you're not sure about the above then read this for SPL:

This for USPL:

Edit: And this post makes me a senior member - woohoo!
Here is how I do I install rom always full of the same problem
Olinex I install 1.56 and then the official 1.56 rom 2009
The picture you supply isn't from the official 1.56 HTC ROM because it is running Windows mobile 6.5 (I can tell from the user interface). The official ROM uses Windows Mobile 6.1.
I think you need to make sure that you flashed the correct ROM and then flash the device again. After doing this make sure you hard reset afterwards at least once, preferably twice by holding down both volume buttons while powering the device on.
Also unless you have a CID locked phone that is branded eg. Orange, you shouldn't have to use Olinex HSPL and can download the official ROM from here:
http://www.htc.com/uk/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=179&cat=2&dl_id=533
In any case you should confirm which SPL you have by holding down the lower volume button while booting (it will tell you either SPL or HSPL along with version number).
Let us know how you get on...
G
HSPL 156 OliNex and htc is a factory not orange or other
Okay, it sounds like you have successfully installed HSPL, but now you need to try flashing the ROM again (it appears to be the ROM that is causing the graphic corruption in your picture).
Make sure you perform two hard resets after flashing and hopefully this should solve your problem...
Cheers,
G
P.S. Make sure you back everything up prior to re-flashing as you will lose everything in phone memory (SD card should not be affected, but my advise would be to remove it anyway until you have re-flashed).

coincidence or faulty?

hi all,
i have a little problem.
i am pretty confident in upgrading my rom and i usually upgrade to duttys but,
last night i thought i would try:
[ROM][WWE][18.06.2009] Miri WM 6.5 21815 :: V 19.0 [ONLINE]
i did what i would normally do hold power on and down.....blah blah blah...
everything worked fine untill....
the phone reset and run the align screen! it now looks like the drivers need to be loaded on the screen, the display has turned all green and pixleated, i thought it was the rom i just downloaded so, i downloaded the latest dutty run that install and it done exactly the same thing and got the same result BUT if i press the off button (not to shutdown) just to turn screen off then press it back on again the display is fine????? untill the system restarts and then it is all poxlated again.
Also the dutty rom runs really slow i mean we are talking 2 mins for the touch flo to respond and then sometimes phone locks up or just resets
i have tried a master reset in the new(and previous) rom and still it is the same.
orignal:
R 1.12.25.16
G 52.60.25.330
D 1.56.47.501
new:
R 1.14.25.24
G 52.64.25.34h
D 1.59 dutty
hope you can help

I am assuming you are using USPL? Did you re-use USPL before flashing either of these roms?

If you are using USPL you need to reuse it before every flash to either radio or rom.
Alternatively use HSPL which is permanent
If you don't use USPL or HSPL you will get green screen problems as well as connections problems and other issues which could wreck your phone
Yes, I know cRaCKwHoRe, he's a good mate and also a beta tester like me.
If you follow his guide, which you'll notice is also linked in my signature, you'll be fine
EDIT
Its actually not as bad as you think. Once you get the hang of it you'll be fine
i think all he needs is the newer hspl
coz if you have old hspl and flash a newer rom u get the display error

Probably right. Just depends on what he already has and what his SPL says in bootloader.
@ htchdowner - Go into bootloader by:
1. Turn off device
2. Hold down vol down
3. Continue to hold vol down and turn on device
You will be presented with a tri-colour screen
What does it say after SPL?

Help needed.. Phones stuck on HTC start up screen

Hi guyz,
I flashed the Leon ROM in the morning. After the flash the phone was stuck on the HTC logo. After a soft reset it loaded up and everything worked perfectly. I really liked the LEON ROM so I kept it and started syncing all the stuff from my PC.. I was playing with it a few hours.
I added some albums to my SD card and was updating the music player when it crashed and reset itself.
I can't get past the HTC screen again. I tried everything, soft reset, with and without the SD card, without SIM, taking out the battery but it's stuck.
Can you guyz tell me what it is or of any of u had the same and how u sorted it out?
If nothing helps what can I do? Can I still flash the official ROM or should I re-flash LEON?
Hope it can be sorted without exchanging it or repair.
Thanks very much
Suz

Can I just flash a new ROM over it? Should work rite?
Yep, sure, boot to bootloader, wait for 'serial' to become 'usb' and run customruu.exe to flash.
Thanks very much for your help..

I am a HD2 owner for two days now. I used to flash much with my HD1, so I couldn't resist any more and started flashing two hours ago.
Same thing happend to me after flashing and a soft reset. Only the white HTC screen came up (at first I sh*t my pants, I was afraid I bricked it for real ). I tried several things..
Everytime when I reflashed the device it was working again, until I did a soft reset, after that evertime I was greeted with the white HTC screen.
After searching for a while on XDA I found somebody stating that the RADIO could be the problem. I never had booting problmens with differrent radio's with my HD1. But for the HD2 this is different I assume.
My solution was:
- Go to: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787
- download radio: Leo_RADIO_15.34.50.07U_2.08.50.08
- Place the radio (make sure the name of the radio is RUU_signed.nbh) in the same dir as LeoCustomRUU.exe (download here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4798017&postcount=1 )
- turn off HD2
- press and hold volume down button and press power on
- when the tricolor screen appears, plug in the USB cable and wait for the screen to say 'USB'
- Run LeoCustomRUU.exe and follow on screen instructions
- Wait for the process to complete
With this new radio my device started booting again Let me know if this fixed your problem!

The name is so of no importance! i can even call fu**er.nbh if i want to, Custom_RUU will still update it. As long as both files are in the same folder nothing else matters. If you don't believe me, then just go ahead and try it yourself

HD2 Leo behaves strange no hardreset possible

Hello,
I tested several Roms and my phone allways behaves strange. Sometimes I can't accept phone calls, screen goes on and off, it jumps through menues without pressing any key.
I changed Radios, ROMS and HSPL.
I always did Task 28, best Radio for the ROM and then flashed the ROM.
And I'm not able to do a hardreset. At the part where I should press VolUp to do hardreset, the phone doesn't recognise any keys. All I can do is put out the battery.
I now went back to T-mobile stock ROM and SPL 1.66. But I still have the problems mentioned above. What the heck is going on with my phone?
any ideas?
If the VolUp key is working fine during normal use, I cannot imagine how it couldn't work during hardreset... what I find is that the phone is somewhat "laggy" in recognising the vol keys events during hardreset, and you need to keep the button pressed longer and/or multiple times, I but suppose you already did that.
In that case, why not trying to reapply the HSPL, maybe in the latest version?
I pressed the Volup key very long and often, also just a short times. didnt worked.
I tested it with HSPL 2.08 and with SPL 1.66. No success with both.
