I have one HTC Blackstone on my hand and i have problem with them.
Once one calling or 2 was working very well , after that lose signal and no one can call to my number.
Is it full of network signal , but sometime was lose all network and back again with full signal , but when someone was trying to call my number they was getting offline my number.
I have fllashed with all RUU version , 6.1 , 6.5 , change mode to gsm , cdma , etc etc etc , but without any success?
I'm asking here for any help maybe someone was have a solution is it this software problem or hardware problem?

i have my tytn 1 WM 5 for about 6 month now, and since then i have this problem,the calls either incoming or outgoing disconnet most the time
its rare if a phone call didnt disconnect
when i asked my tytn provider by the phone he said its propably from the network it self.
i called the network provider "vodaphone" they introduced 3G broadband to their service recently here in egypt, and they said they cant find any problem and i should change the mobile as a test to see if that will happen also.
but i have my suspesion about that " U " icon and the "G" one
i feel its related to them as mostly they seem to be changing from one to another during the disconnection, i dont know if during the call or befor it ir what .. or may be im mistaken !
i dont know what to do
format my tytn ? i did that and didnt help
change the mobile to another 3G mobile to test the network ?
call my HTC provider again ?
please any one help me
i asked the HTC provider for WM 6 thinking that the new software might solve that problem ,but they don't have it
i said but on the net there is alot of WM 6 for tytn , they said its for Urope version not here
iam in egypt and my tytn language is english but arabic enabled , with both languages on the keyboard.
please i need help

change your Windows from 5 to 6 use TNT.SE, this was made by on of owr own proud guys, i really recommend it as it might help you in solving your issues.

I Bought My Touch HD last month from QATAR, after two days I discovered that while making a call and after a while ( 2 to 5 minutes) the other party will start to complain that he cant hear my voice while I still can hear him clearly, and then after a while the sound will return to normal and he will be able to hear me clearly again !!!! this is repeated every 2 to 5 minutes during the call !!!!
I went to the dealer and exchanged the device with a new one, what surprised me is I encountered the same problem again after one week and I dont know what to do !!!!! I am currently visiting the family in the states and still have the same problem on T Mobile using a local SIM Card !!!
PLease help, does anybody have the same problem ? please advice

I bought mine from Qatar, now I updated to ROM 1.19 Black Pearl by Pinosha and still testing as the problem sometimes dissapear and then comes back after few days and lasts for a long time !!! but I have noticed that no body is interested in this problem !!! maybe we are the only people that have it !!!
when i got my new phone i got a new simcard that better supported the 3G functions than my 5year old one.
I had a couple of times people couldn't hear me..
I thought it was caused by the way I was holding the device. The Mic is on the bottom end the phone.. I sometimes put my finger on the mic.
Next time when it occurs again.. check you're not blocking the mic with you finger..

try setting the cellular network on GSM only on the phone, when the reception is bad and 3G doesnt work, i think you have these kind of problems when you are in a call...
just disable 3G

In most cases it is due to people closing the mic with their finger when talking..the mic hole is placed in a bad position...
Same problem for me but i think i have the reason why. I think the change to 3G or EDGE when in call is the problem. I have this problem everytime when i get a new mail. Is that possible? And how to fix it? :confused
Same when i load the wether while in call....
Maybe this is the problem, but my device sometimes connect via Edge and I dont know why and when i disconnect it, it will connect again !!! I dont know how to stop the data connection and prevent the device from auto connection !! I want to disable all data connection and keep the MMS working only !!!

I am using Sony Xepira ( Middle -East) black & while sending text msg, receipient get same 2-4msgs....which cause problems? & my bills gets charged unfortunately.. Can someone help me with the urgent solution?
it's possible to be from your network , so it gives "unsent" status to your phone , and the phone tryes to send it again , and again until it receives "sent" from your network.
This might be a solution , i am not shure of it.
Dear it's nothing related to my network, beacuse when I remove the SIM from my X1 & insert it in another mobile and it works perfect ..
I went to my network provider & we made the testing , it's from the X1 mobile..it might be software problem ...not only my mobile but few friends of mine are facing the same issue...
Can anyone help me with this issue?

I too have similar issues only using my X1 and would be keen to understand this as my provider is also saying they cannot see a problem in the network and it only happens with the X1.

It's not a network provider problem, it's something related to the X1
You could either try a hard reset, perhaps you installed something wrong.
If that doesn't work, you could go a step further and flash it - but I'm not sure if that is what you want to do
The final option is always returning it to the factory, asking a new one.
some of my old phones done this when i went holiday to cyprus.

my blackstone cannot get gsm signal
but if my area coverage have 3g signal,my blackstone can use telephone and sms
and if a area not 3g signal so... My blackstone can't use telephone or sms.
Another fitur is fine, just can't get gsm signal

when did this start happening? what Radio are you using? What rom are you using? Have you tried hard resetting it?

i have a same probleme when i shift from windows mobile 6.5 to 6.1 it happend . im steel working on it . some times gsm signal comes for a while and then it will be lost . but when i changed again uspl to 156 olinex i think its working again . i should check it for 1 day and see if it works again .!
but i know it comes from some software and loaders conflict -
i tried with all original and official roms from HTC support but with spl 1.14 it didnt works Correctly.

I had a similar problem, it was my SIM Card.
Try also flash a standard rom from htc, then flash other that you want.
Do a Task 29 (see guide in sticky), then restore default rom & SPL. Once you've done this follow Dummies Guide (see guide in sticky) and flash your desired rom
This should hopefully help your signal/reception. If not, then it's a faulty sim
I assume you get good signal on a different handset? As this could confirm (or not) the SIM card being at fault as advised by MJRL.
I had problems with signal on Orange many years ago, I went into the Orange shop, they tested the SIM and they just gave me a new SIM - all worked fine then.
