I purchased my MT4G from a T-Mobile store for full price without contract and did not pay the additional $25 fee for 4G. Does anyone know if my speed will be limited because I'm not paying that fee?
That $25 is for data alone. You have no data on your plan and will be billed $1.99/mb. You should call and change that.
I'm using the Even More Plus 750 + Unlimited Text & Web.
Yeah but that plan only covers regular internet not "4G" plus the 30 bucks android plan is required AFAIK.

If you are EM+ 750 TW, that's a Family plan with unlimited data and text/mms on 2 lines, then you share the 750 mins between all the lines. T-Mobile doesn't charge more for the faster internet...yet.
There is no extra charge for 4g, so if you already have the unlimited web, then you're golden. Although you might not get 4g speeds all the time, depending on where you're located.

Funny how many versions of "the truth" you will get from different reps who actually have no clue what they are talking about isn't it?
Agreed...

According to what they told me, the even more and plus includes the 4G plan. The other plans are for the laptop and the tab that they sell which requires you to have those plans.

I'm leaving Sprint to get the Nexus S. I currently have the Evo and I have to admit I have a good plan. Its a family plan. I just want to know which plan is worth getting with this phone. Thanks.

Even more plus, 500 minutes, unlimited texting and data for $59.99 + tax
There isn't any contract, but you have to buy the Nexus S for $529.99 + tax
What about a plan that comes with the contract? I read some Best Buys do have contracts. I went to T-Mobile, they told me that their lowest plan is $80.00.

I've got the unlimited everything for $80/month. But I got that with my G1.
Does the speed on this plan vary from the $30.00 data plan on the S if its the same speed I wouldn't mind saving $20.00 a month
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
It's the same speed, except that you're capped to 200 MB/mo. It replaces their previous "dumbphone" data plan
I taught they had unlimited web to go for 10

That's their old dumbphone plan, which is still grandfathered in so people who had that plan in the past can still go over 200 MB
Someone please CMIIW
Unlmited web2go for $10 does not work on the nexus s.
Thanks for your help Jc

You can opt for even more plus plan at corp store if you purchase it in full, which only cost $20 for internet and $10 for messaging.
It's better than nothing.
$10 grandfathered web2go will not work with NS at least it doesn't work on my 3rd number, so I have to rotate it with MT4.
This guy know is selling his T-Mobile SGT for $425, it would come with a leather case and screen protectors. I checked it out and it's in very good condition (ESN is good).
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to go ahead and buy it from him or wait until April 1st to buy a brand new wifi model?
I don't plan on setting the tab up with 3G, just going to use it with wifi and phone tether.
Any advice? Thanks!
You can get it at tmobile for 249

Yeah, but you are committed to a 2-year data plan.
If you do the math, that is a lot of money for 2 years.
Went ahead and just bought it. :X
Decided I couldn't wait that long for one lol. Plus I figured that since it came with a case and screen protector, I was getting a decent deal.
Finally, I can consider myself a proud tablet owner.
Well mine is cheaper I gave up my fone and use my tab.....and transferred my data plan which is 29.99 unlimited...only thing im signed in for 2 years but my data plan is cheap....and I use the 3g service allot

If I am not mistaken, do you have AT&T tab?
Because if you have the T-mobile tab, then you can only have calling ability (like a phone) but only get 2G data instead of 3G. Am I correct?
Yeah I have tmobile ...i use sip droid and google voice combined for calls....hopefully wit the update to 2.3..we all can enjoy the enabled voip calling which will be nice

A friend of mine was looking at switching from a regular plan to a prepay plan and he was wondering if he goes and buys the cheapest phone they have can he put the SIM from that into his Vibrant and use it prepay. Also if down the road he decides to get a different phone can he take the prepay SIM and put it into the new phone without having to get a new SIM.
Yeah, a tmo prepay sim would work in a vibrant. And yes, you can put that sim in any tmo phone.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Yeah, I do the EM+ thing and I keep a couple of blackberries as backups and swap over all the time.
Of course, that's technically different from full blown prepay.

Hey does anyone do just a data plan on a vibrant/smartphone? I'm thinking about doing that, with free GV texts, and signing up for a SIP acct to get free VOIP calls... I think you can get 2 gigs of data for $30 prepaid.
Just wondering if anyone has done this or thought about it?
Here is an article at tmonews that can help you with the prepaid stuff
http://www.tmonews.com/2011/05/t-mobile-revamping-prepaid-plans-on-may-22nd/
Thought about it heavily.

Depends on your usage of course but I bought a $100 prepaid card and just use the $1.49 data for 24 hours. It's been good enough for my uses and since I work from home just use it on weekends if need be. Maybe a weekday here and there too.
Guys, does anyone use Prepay Widget? Im planning on going on holiday and want to know if it works...
