Web2Go $10.00 - Nexus S General

Does the speed on this plan vary from the $30.00 data plan on the S if its the same speed I wouldn't mind saving $20.00 a month
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App

It's the same speed, except that you're capped to 200 MB/mo. It replaces their previous "dumbphone" data plan

I taught they had unlimited web to go for 10

That's their old dumbphone plan, which is still grandfathered in so people who had that plan in the past can still go over 200 MB
Someone please CMIIW

Unlmited web2go for $10 does not work on the nexus s.

Thanks for your help Jc

You can opt for even more plus plan at corp store if you purchase it in full, which only cost $20 for internet and $10 for messaging.
It's better than nothing.
$10 grandfathered web2go will not work with NS at least it doesn't work on my 3rd number, so I have to rotate it with MT4.

[Q] 4G Fee

I purchased my MT4G from a T-Mobile store for full price without contract and did not pay the additional $25 fee for 4G. Does anyone know if my speed will be limited because I'm not paying that fee?
That $25 is for data alone. You have no data on your plan and will be billed $1.99/mb. You should call and change that.
I'm using the Even More Plus 750 + Unlimited Text & Web.
Yeah but that plan only covers regular internet not "4G" plus the 30 bucks android plan is required AFAIK.

If you are EM+ 750 TW, that's a Family plan with unlimited data and text/mms on 2 lines, then you share the 750 mins between all the lines. T-Mobile doesn't charge more for the faster internet...yet.
There is no extra charge for 4g, so if you already have the unlimited web, then you're golden. Although you might not get 4g speeds all the time, depending on where you're located.

Funny how many versions of "the truth" you will get from different reps who actually have no clue what they are talking about isn't it?
Agreed...

According to what they told me, the even more and plus includes the 4G plan. The other plans are for the laptop and the tab that they sell which requires you to have those plans.

Even more plus, 500 minutes, unlimited texting and data for $59.99 + tax
There isn't any contract, but you have to buy the Nexus S for $529.99 + tax
What about a plan that comes with the contract? I read some Best Buys do have contracts. I went to T-Mobile, they told me that their lowest plan is $80.00.

Its an even more plus plan (without contract)...i think it used to be called flexpay
I was seriously considering signing a contract and paying 200 for my phone when it came out....but I did some calculations and the same plan that I have now with a contract is waaayyyy more expensive than what I am paying. They make more money in two years than it costs for my current plan plus the full price for 2 vibrants bought off contract...so I just bought the phones outright and signed up for the "flexpay" plan. I have the freedom to switch carriers whenever I want and I am on a reallyc heap plan
Yeah, I ALWAYS pay full retail for the phone. Really helps, if you do the math/keep the phone a little while.
I'm on 1500 mins also with unlimited text and data for $145 a month (after taxes), 3 lines and 1 phone insurance included. It's called Even More Plus plan I believe.

AT&T capping their data on i9300

for 4 years now I've been on medianet, using international Samsung phones, today I got a message .. guess we can cross unlimited and cheap data off our 'benefits of owning a i9300 on att'
AT&T Free Msg: This is a courtesy reminder that you have used 90% of your 3GB data plan allowance for the bill cycle ending on 10/12/12. Any overage is charged @ $10/1GB. Learn more at www.att.com/dataplans. Tip: Mobile Data is unlimited over Wifi.

If you have been using media net for four years why are you on the 3 GB data plan, instead of the unlimited plan?

That's because we paid a much lower rate of either $10 or $15 for unlimited data.
At&t won't let you keep your current plan if you buy an LTE phone. You must upgrade to an "lte" data plan, which are only offered with 300mb, 3gb, and 5gb limits.
not sure if you guys are understanding what I'm saying. I'm saying, out of nowhere they switched me over and started capping me all on their own

See the thread in my signature, there is already a fix for it that worked for me.

Dang - so do they have the IMEIs for the i9300s?? How'd they switch you over? Unless you're a really heavy user and they just figured that no phone on MediaNET should be consuming that much data as they're all dumb phones right?

Tmobile unlimited prepaid plan change

Free T-Mobile Msg: Our $70 Monthly4G plan now includes UNL 4G data. Smartphone Mobile Hotspot is not avail. This will change on your next renewal after 2/20.
What do you think that means?

Seems weird that I get sent that ad considering I started my service on that. But from that perspective it does seem like an ad. Thanks!

The $70 prepaid plan has changed from 5gb of 4g speeds to unlimited 4g speeds. Assuming you're on the $70 plan, you will have unlimited next month.
