I know this is not related to topic, so sorry for that, but what about a tap in TouchFlo where you can see youtube videos? Or maybe even search youtube or maybe see your favorite youtube videos?

Well.. a little offtopic yes, but an good idea too
My HTC Magic suddenly can´t play videos from youtube. I get the message "Sorry can´t play this video".
I have done a hard reset. This did not solve the problem. Any idea what could be wrong ?
Some new & old videos from youtube needs to be rendered and converted to playable formats compatible with the android system. This can take hours just as a newly video has been uploaded on their data base or might take months, depends on Google.
Example:
Little Johnny uploads a video on youtube. He tries to watch the newly uploaded video on his android device.
He can't, "Sorry, can't play this video". He keeps trying and trying, still the same result.
Behind the scenes a Google employee/super computer grabs Little Johnny's video and converts it to a playable format compatible with android devices.
The next day Little Johnny tries to watch the video again on his android device and was jubilant to find out that the video started to play.
Answer: Time heals all wounds; just wait it out.
I am not sure that is how is works. Youtube works periodically with the same video. Sometimes it will play the video sometimes it will not. I suspect it might have something do with wheather Youtube is able to launch the videoplayer.
... I am not sure though and it is very annoying
Hi.
I will go outside for a year, and i would like to configure a good app for video chat for my parents. Not "phone2phone" apps, since i have a Samsung Wave with Bada OS (and there isn't any app for video chat there) but something like "phone2pc".
Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
SKype or gtalk ?
greetings
heya.
I'm sure some of you listen to music on YouTube every now and then!
and I'm extremly sure 90% who did were freakin pissed that when you get an email or something else comes up and you 'minimize' youtube it stops!
wouldn't it be wonderfull if YouTube had a minimize and a floating function?
Lucky there is this app "Super Video" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gpc.myweb.hinet.net.PopupVideo
just use YouTube and share the video you wanna watch with super video!
works fine. hope Google will improve YouTube app soon!
checking out now! I have had this issue as well haha
I use to love that app, still do, it does what you say, but it used to be alot better with youtube, the controls are pain in the ass now, for example, if you open a video with this app, a video thats stored locally (avi, mkv....), thats how the controls were like up until a few updates ago, sooooo much easier.........i hope it comes back
Nice app though with the upcoming update, stock media player will be able to search youtube videos as well. But in the meantime, this could come in handy. :good:
Is it possible or a lost cause?

If you're looking for something ready made the answer is no from what I can tell.
I'm currently working on this but there is a problem. The Q fires off the video to the youtube app itself so it owns the playback at that point.
the youtube app does not have an api to interact with the player so once you pass it a video to play you lose control. You can get the length of the video and then trigger the next video after the time has run out but its not the right way to do it for obvious reasons. Google announced a player api at I/O 2012 that is supposed to be coming out soon but so far we haven't heard any details on that.
I'm playing with this now but it is a little older: http://code.google.com/p/android-youtube-player/
