[Q] Nooby - Android Market

Hi,
How can I download apps from Android Market to my PC (Windows)?
10x
If you want to download android apps you have to be running Android on your windows phone. - You should actually read before asking questions like this. I see per your post you are already running a custom rom on your phone so as you have already hspl, all you have to do is download a build of android from this forum to you desktop, plug in your phone and hit storage not sync and extract the build to the root of your storage card -
you also need to have a google email account to use the market.

Or, you can google "android. apk download" and some will come up, but you wont be able to do anything with them, keep them updated, and some might not even work.

10x for all replies, but I see that I made some confusion.
I have couple of Apps from Market that fail to install on my "mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense RC1.4" build. I found in the thread that if I download them on PC and transfer to HD2 they may successfully be installed.
I did not find the APK on the net (google...and more), the only place is on the Market.
So here again I the QUESTION : How can I download application from the Market to my home desktop PC. Is there any Windows XP/7 clients available to do so?
You will have search google because there is no way to downlaod apps to the pc from the market.

In android, unmount and then mount the sd card. then try the download/install again.

Facebook updating issues on darkstone froyo

Hey everyone I can't seem to update Facebook on the market. It keeps telling me this app needs a manual install. I read somewhere to go into the apps folder that's on the SD card and delete the apk but the only apks that are in that folder is opengl and abduction. Any advice? Also can someone show me where the system.ext. file is that enables GPS on this build? Thanks everyone.

This has been talked about already and u need to search,
But, ill help anyway,
Open up your file browser, then go to the ROOT of the device > system > app
Then delete the "facebook.apk" and reboot your phone and install from the market.
As for the zImage, download it here:
http://cotulla.pp.ru/leo/Android/Cotulla_zImage_VOLUME_SR_AUD.rar
Then extract it and replace the one on your SD card with this one, it fixes the volume and adds gps.

[Q] Marketplace Bug

Is there any fix for that? There's so many builds out there with it. It lets you donwload it but not install it
Only one I didn't have it with was mdejay android builds. Is there anyway of fixing this cause all my favorite games wont install.
And yes I tried mount unmount
try this
try unmounting your SD Card then installing it.
Tried that too
On my HTC HD2 using tapatalk
so is it downloading and never installing or is it downloading and failing?
Downloads and fails to install. It happens on a few 2.2.1 stock builds and miui

You got me then, Most of the time I run into that issue I just download it a second time, which with the bigger files is a pain, and it works if i unmount the SD card.
I have been trying to get the christmas edition of angry birds and it doesnt even start for me. anything else works though for some reason!
If they're downloading but not installing, then have a look at this post...

If the files are there then at least you can manually install. It's obviously not a fix, but better than not being able to install anything!
Why not just go back to an MDJ build? I'm about to go back to one of his myself, now that I've heard he's got the camera working on a Desire HD build

Not a fan of sense builds. And theres certain bits and pieces of MIUI functionality that i cant live without and i tried the 4.0 Desire HD build and it drained my battery in under 5 hours
I know that the apks are there but it wont let me install them. After a while it says installation failed.
---------------------------------------
Either way changed to a MIUI Start Build yesterday and that supports external storage mode. It does have the bug too but at least it works when you unmount card. Only got 300 MB left now :S

RAFDROID HD, cant install apps!

Basically i installed the the RAFDROID HD 4.0.2 onto my HD2, everything is working perfectly fine except for the marketplace. I open it up and click on any app, click okay for the permissions and click on the install button, the apps download, but gets stuck on the installing.... part and wont go away. Ive restarted the phone, ive searched around to see if anyone has had the same problem, but have come up short.
I get the same thing
i've got the same problem.
i can't install apps either. and i love the rom but without my apps i'll have to go back. any help would be appreciated
what version of the hd2 are you using?
i am assuming you have an ext partition on your sd card if you have a eu device
i have the same. i can´t install any app of the market and when i try to download an app with the web browser.
it´s only downloading and then it says "installing" but nothing happens.
is there any update to fix is?

[Q] Can't download apps from Market

I can't download Apps from the Market on ANY android build, after reseting DarkStone's SuperRam Build.
They prepare for download and instantly disappear.
In "MY APPS", the supposedly downloaded apps appear as "FREE" and if i try click them it tells me to download them when it already started to Download, but never finished.

Reflash, you mean, format SD and copy again? I'm not using dual boot. I run it from WINMO.
I have the latest radio version and official WINMO ROM (not the latest version).

It's not even possible to do that. Clear Data is simply grey on all Roms... =\
Yes you can go to settings--applications--All--market--clear data, or try a different rom with boyppc ginger v8 i cant download and now i'm using american android and it one works good

I am running SD Android too. Yes, you can try reformat your SD. And try copy only the files need for Android. Later on, when you succeed, you can copy your files.
Good luck

I never got the market to reliably work on DarkStone's SuperRam Build.
Same with 'Gtalk verification failed'.
I am now on Americandroid and have no problems.
The difference though, between the time I set up Darkstone and Americandroid, is that on the darkstone install I typed my full gmail addy (including @gmail.com), and on the Americandroid install, I only typed the google mail username part and let android fill in the @gmail by itself (by moving the cursor to the password field)
No idea if that made the difference to make it work though.
