I can't download Apps from the Market on ANY android build, after reseting DarkStone's SuperRam Build.
They prepare for download and instantly disappear.
In "MY APPS", the supposedly downloaded apps appear as "FREE" and if i try click them it tells me to download them when it already started to Download, but never finished.

I had this kind of problems.
What I did was to Reflash it. And, It works
Try clearing market data under applications settings

Reflash, you mean, format SD and copy again? I'm not using dual boot. I run it from WINMO.
I have the latest radio version and official WINMO ROM (not the latest version).

It's not even possible to do that. Clear Data is simply grey on all Roms... =\
Yes you can go to settings--applications--All--market--clear data, or try a different rom with boyppc ginger v8 i cant download and now i'm using american android and it one works good

I am running SD Android too. Yes, you can try reformat your SD. And try copy only the files need for Android. Later on, when you succeed, you can copy your files.

I never got the market to reliably work on DarkStone's SuperRam Build.
Same with 'Gtalk verification failed'.
I am now on Americandroid and have no problems.
The difference though, between the time I set up Darkstone and Americandroid, is that on the darkstone install I typed my full gmail addy (including @gmail.com), and on the Americandroid install, I only typed the google mail username part and let android fill in the @gmail by itself (by moving the cursor to the password field)
No idea if that made the difference to make it work though.

I have a really bad issue with this process.android.acore thing. Whenever I install darkstone's FyoroStone 3.17 build, it runs fine and I restore my apps and whatnot and go on my merry way. After 5 minutes the HTC Calendar process force closes and after any future restart, I get the process.android.acore force close issue, where I keep getting the little box that asks me to bloody end the thing.
I have reinstalled and reformatted my SD card several times. Anyone have any ideas?

How are you restoring you apps, from the market or titanium backup?
The reason I ask is because if you're using titanium backup, you might be messing with the settings, but that's if you're restoring system settings with you batch also. Only thing I can think of.
Also, have you tried using another build to see if you get that issue?
I am using Titanium Backup. I am only restoring the settings that have been backed up from earlier iterations of the same build before this error started.
Furthermore, I am currently downloading mdjeey's build to see if that fixes it.
I'm also flashing to a different WinMo Rom, but that's a different story.

Yeah, try Mdeejay's build and see if you get the same issue; and when you restore just restore the apps and not the system settings. I personally like his latest Froyo HD.
I prefer the Sense build. Makes me look totally awesome when I pinch and show all 5 windows and pick which to see in front of my friends.
That one is a sense build, based on the new DesireHD ROM. It's pretty nice
Only problem for me is the camera not working. That's a deal breaker for me, but it's still nice to have it on my SD

yup, I haven't had an issue and I've had up to 4 different builds on my sdcard. As long as you rename the android folder to something else, and change the rel_path= in the startup.txt
I use EBL which comes included in the WinMo ROM I use (on my sig if you want to give it a try)
Edit: EBL is the program that autoboots the android builds. Or you can just manually do it by going to the folder and clicking the CLRCAD and HaRET.

Just hooked up Froyo on my touch HD
My first time using XDANDROIND or any android.
seems to work fine except the market wont download and install apps
It views available apps and searches fine
when you select an App to install in perpetualy says >>>> STARTING DOWNLOAD
And nothing happens even after an hour, tried very small apps also under 1mb
Is this a commen problem?
Any Fixes?

I have noticed that once, too. However the latest XDAndroid works good for me, and also the distributions from Neopeek. Check that you have correct carrier and APN:s.

im using wifi to try and download. im gonna try using normal gprs/3g
if that doesnt work(i doubt it will) then il get another release of XDAndroid

Yes, there are newer versions. Check out xdandroid.com. Also update kernels, rootfs etc. accordingly.
Mayby tray reinstall froyo ? Or change SD card .

When i access the download tab in market, it shows as trying to download, but then says download unsuccessfull.

Are you using this build?
If so, that is the newest XDAndroid build for FroYo.
I can't remember specifically this issue - have you tried the usual?
Try a simple reboot. If that doesn't work, try to muck with the Market - clear the cache, perhaps update it? I know updating manually to the newest Market helped my "Market experience" if you will quite a bit.
If that doesn't work, you'll have to try the more drastic measures - first, update everything. Make sure you're on the newest kernel & rootfs. Then try a new data.img (rename or simply delete the old one, all of your user stuff like SMS messages, installed apps, etc will go away). If that still fails, I guess format the card and start over. Format with the HP Tool. Starting fresh is a pain, and I'm not sure that'll resolve your issue... but those are the basic troubleshooting steps for Market issues.
FYI, I followed these steps to update to the newest Market. Just find the APK for the newest version of the Market. Unfortunately our Market doesn't auto-update, not sure if that's possible on our port or not. Manually updating does work fine, although it is a pain.

No wasn't using that build, but using the cab from the other sticky topic "Froyo 2.2, ..."
Tried to use the build you specified, upon startup, I reach the animation of XDANDROID and the phone restarts, going into WM.
I updated the kernel, now the phone freezes on the XDANDROID animation instead of restarting. Gonna try this again and will post back in the relevant forum.

I have a big problem as some of my apps wont install on nand tried gignerbraead cm7 from mdj and now i have a desire sesne bulid and the same thing for example i tri to instal MOTONAV and it says installing.... and at the end NOT INSTALLED?
note that this apps worked flawlesly on sd bulid superam from darkstone
I think you have the problem that I do. I just keep trying to install that app til out finally installs. BTW look in you're downloads folder and there is downloaded files of that app taking up space.

Just on the basis of that one point, your only choice as of now would be WildPuzzle. Anyhow, as I replied earlier, market worked perfectly for me on WP, so, try installing again after wiping everything. (I recommend 0.7 over 0.8)

2. login and choose a app
3. click on install and OK
4. wait till it installs on your mobile
Step 4 doesn't work for me.
U could try my Rom has all u asked 4 exsept transparent lock screen n notifications but I'm working on it sorted the lockscreen working on the notification area

I have installed (and uninstalled) hundeeds of apps on my Wildfire, because I like to experiment with them, and, I use the Android Market from the wildfire itself to do it.
As I said, I dont know if a recent update has broken the market or not, but, when I was using Wildpuzzle before CM7 came out, Market worked 101% for me, right down from downloading, installing, and updating apps.
For your issue, you can PM melvinchng and ask him. Just read a post by him somewhere stating he has switched back to WP from CM7.
My suggestions:
* As I said before, try reinstalling WP again
* Try market remover from the patched market thread, and, try installing it again, then try it.
* Switch to another ROM of your choice, but I doubt there is any that will fulfill all your needs as stated by you.

I think you're a little behind on news and thats why you don't get his question - the market now has a web-based interface - here. You can install apps from there to the phone.

Make sure you're signed in on the market first. (ignore the rest of this post if you are) I had the same problem. Click sign in on the top right. Then it will allow you to install apps. (a dialog will popup asking you to choose your device, it will not allow you to choose wildfire for non-qvga apps unfortunately)
Edit: Oh and online market should work regardless of what ROM you're using. It even detected non-qvga apps (eg. Engadget) I had installed using AppBrain on Sense and then restored using TitaniumBackup on CM7.
Damn I was mixing up com.android.market (The process) and market.android.com (the WEB market for PC's).

Have you got Titanium Backup installed? If so, you could just make a backup, do a fresh install (might want to try a new ROM as well) then restore all apps.

Google "gapps" and install the google apps from cyanogen mod.
On another note why haven't you upgraded to a newer version of android 2.3.5?

when u manually added the market,u could still have 2 markets lol,i had the same prob,i had market3.15 AND com.android.vending,av a look at ur system apps,use link2sd from the market to check and remove or move to sd card etc,then delete com.android.vending,i use root explorer personally or systemapp remover,but not everybody as them cos they're not free,i could upload them if u need any,also if u do find u have 2 markets,after deleting the old market,boot into recovery and WIPE CACHE AND WIPE DALVIK,then reboot,ptoblem solved

Well, I would try fixing permissions through rom manager/CWR.
If that doesn't work either, reflash the rom.
Also, concerning the AmeriCan Android rom not booting - how big were your internal partitions (mainly system) for the Froyo rom that you've been using? In case you're using NAND, not SD build. Are you?
The ACA rom requires 190MB system partition, if yours is smaller, then it will not boot.
If none of this is the problem, then I am afraid I can't help you.
That's all I would do.
