Is there like a black list on xda?
So I can add trolls and never have to deal with them anymore?
Please don't start a flame war here. Im not even gonna try and reply

Meant to post it on q&a....dammit trolls are gonna all over it now

Click on someone's name, view their public profile.
There's a little tab towards the top that says user lists. Click on that and add them to the ignore list.
lol
you can go to that person's profile, and in the user lists drop down, add them to your ignore list. It'll just block out anything they have posted, but it'll still show you a little placeholder that they did post there. Threads they start are also still visible in the thread index.
Thank youu

So,
1. I know, wrong place to post this but if I get banned for thanking the devs, to hell with XDA anyway.
2. I like tech, so I'm reading the WP7 first impressions forum and...apparently Google is IE's default search engine...and it can't be changed! Our Fascinate crew De-Binged so f#*-ing hard that even WP7 felt that ish! Thanks guys...I thought this would bring that "I'm James Dean Cool," feeling to you!

To hell with us for wanting to keep the developers happy and keep development clean for developing? I can't believe you typed that and continued to hit post.
good day.
You're cranky bro. I actually knew you would be the first to post, and with your general, pseudo-parental diatribe. If this post compromises the integrity of this Dev. Forum then allow me to scoff at flame wars concerning where leaks come from. Flame, gas, set match.

How can you sign up to be a mod? Then you can ninja ban all these fools lol.

guys, there is this little icon in the top right that does a "report post" ...
use it on posts like this that don't belong, our moderator is very responsive in moving things around. I think I'm the only person who uses it.
Moved to general as not development. Reporting posts helps us find and move them folks Triangle at the top right, with an exclamation point in it.
Hey hey hey,
No flame war, just a miscommunication over semantics.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Mine just happens to be a bit more educated
Google.is the default and can't be changed? I find it difficult to believe that that was Microsoft's choice. It's most likely a carrier customization. There are no WP7 phones on Verizon until next year, but the way things look now, I can almost guarantee they will have Bing on them, not Google.

Do we need a new thread for every issue. There's an exact thread on page 2.

Sorry. I looked through quite a few pages and didn't see my issue. Is it bothering you that much?

Nope, not your eyes, every SGSII has it, just a lot of people don't notice.
Me and D_a_C ? have a thread on this. Check it out.
As in either search for it or click me or D_A_C's profile and check out our threads.
I thought it might be nice to have some folks try to build up a G+ XDA network (sorry...circle) while we're still early in.
Feel free to add an XDA circle & add me:

There was a thread already closed a couple days ago in this section, b/c of the original thread (see above).
Swift, that thread was a guy handing out invites, this guy here just wants to get a circle of XDA buds
That's cool, I would love to join. Soon as I get my invite

ಠ_ಠ good god man, right in the thread title "no invite requests". There's any number of other threads going on for pages with people asking for and receiving invite requests.
Everyone feel free to add me and join my "developers" circle.

same boat.... sad day
50% of the posts in this thread are from people who want invites (or have non-working ones, so still need invites). I guess that's a better ratio than the other threads, but not by much.
Guess we'll have to wait for the excitement to die down before having any thread that isn't invite requests

I have made a G+ Account called "XDA Circle". If we can get all XDA members to search and add that account to a circle. It would more or less create a global group. I'm thinking it would be an easy way to keep our own XDA circles up-to-date. Simply search for the "XDA Circle" profile, dbl-click into it to view who has circled the "XDA Circle" account. Then you can easily find XDA Members that you have not added yet.
I have no plans to use or make posts from that profile. In theory, it should grow on its own as more XDA members get online with Google+.

So true! Also notice how the majority of those asking here on XDA are newly registered and have very few posts. Seems a little suspicious to me.
That said: I will send invites, but only if you have been an XDA member for at least 1 month or have over 100 constructive posts. My invites will go to the real community, not these "n00bs" just trying to get a free ride.
I would love an invite but can't face the idea of begging for one on the forum...
Yes, I feel as sullied as I expected to.
Pretty please.

Hey OP, have any clue how the privacy settings work on google+? I have a crazy ex stalker g/f and need most my stuff other than profile pic and name private : /
Oh I should also say that google+ is freaking awesome and IMO way better than facebook! I am just trying to figure it all out right now...
How will this work? Will I see the posts that user x makes to the circle or just one guy?

There is a place to block users. I have blocked anyone yet, but surely it is possible.

Basically, the way it works is you create a circle like XDA. Then you find and add people to your XDA circle. Once added, you will see their posts as well as all the other people in that circle. Then you have the option to view the posts of everybody you have in all circles, or you can select single circle at a time to filter out the rest.
I would love an invite as well...been on xda awhile...dont post much mostly just reading lol....dont wanna throw my mixed knowledge in and confuse people lol

Are 2 threads necessary? And besides the point that its in the complete wrong forum.
As stated in the other thread that information is old.
And dont say you doble posted on accident because this thread was created 4 mins after the first one.
Well thank you for the info
Actually I didnt know it was posted twice i did it from my phone and i was trying to load pics of the convo not only that it was either my first or second post ever.... So instead of critizing why not try to teach im open to listening... But all in all thank for the comment
