Just wondering if there will be a version of Galaxy Tab sold directly from Samsung or other vendors without all those restrictions and apps from the carrier. I noticed Negri listed a version with the US 3G spec (with phone function as well), not sure if it is just the ATT version.

I know there will be a wifi-only version from Best Buy soon, but does it come with Android Market access then?

^ I got the video from the review thread and wanted to start a separate discussion since the review threat isn't for conversing. Anyways, I watched the video and was impressed with the split screen option, but then completely wowed by the tv antennae and being able to watch live tv. Will the American variants come with the antenna as well? If not, will the International version be compatible with T-Mobile's HSPA+ network and the US's TV channels?

If that's really the case, is the Korean version compatible with American TV airwaves and with T-Mobile's HSPA+ network?

Nope.
I can confirm that the American Galaxy Note II will absolutely NOT have the TV antenna. As a matter of fact, every Galaxy (S, SII, SII HD, SIII, Note) ever made released in Korea has a TV antenna. Even in Korea, the TV broadcast work on different technologies among the 3 different carriers LG, SK, KT so just imagine the difficulties and the impossibilities of getting it working in the US.

product of korea
Ever since the digital ATSC changeover I've been waiting for a smartphone to come out with a basic antenna and ATSC tuner. There is no excuse to not include it on ph/tablets, in particular. The manufacturers don't seem to agree.

Hi
I aminterested in getting the Samsung galaxy s4 Dual sim. From what i read it is only available in china. I am willing to get it from there, yet i am not sure if there will be any limitations - from what i read one limitation is the google play store.
I am thus wondering whether anyone got this phone and has managed to overcome all these limitations, and how he did this?
I presume that most people are interested in having dual sim due to the advantages it offers so i presume that there will be quite a few people interested in this.

I'm living in Europe (in Germany), and I have a chance to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 from Korea.
I'm wondering if I will have any issues to use it here with a German SIM
I read that Galaxy Note 3 has a regional locking thing, which can be easily disabled. Will there be any other issues?
How does locking works in general? Is it a hardware or a software thing? Will I be able to get any mobile working anywhere by hacking the software (e.g. rooting or modding it)?
Very specific crowd this is geared towards, any one with AT&T and a Galaxy Watch 3 LTE? Want to now if the call forwarding is working, it should since it has VoLTE but just checking.

You'd need to pair it properly so I'd guess you'd need to pair it whilst it's in a galaxy. Kind of had the same issue with an activ LTE and couldn't pair with my Huawei P20 pro. Watch LTE was paid for but wouldn't work on it's own without the phone via Bluetooth.
Now unless Samsung hates Huawei (probably does) and doesn't mind Oneplus (no Idea)
Then it could just work off the bat with the galaxy wear app, but I would expect the same issues I had.
As I said one way around it would be to set up the watch with a galaxy (swap out SIM) then change back to the OnePlus. That will work as expected
