The reason I'm asking if anyone has tried an iPhone charger to a streak is because I have my old car iPhone charger just sitting here and wanted to know if anyone has tried to see if it was compatable. Just didn't want to try it out and maybe shorting out my Streak in the process ya know?

Everyone thinking of ordering a serial cable for the sole purpose of unlocking their device should hold off. The cable will take longer to arrive than our cable-less solution.
Even those that have already unlocked should prepare for general improvement in quality of life.

Anyone got an idea on where to get decent TMOUS HD2 computer docks, one with a charger. Google apparently thinks dock =/= silicone cases. I saw one in the task29 tutorial video..

I've seen several, while searching for cases. You'll just want to google "T-mobile HD2 desktop cradle"

I was at my sons field day and had my streak in my pocket all day and from bending over and squatting and everything else that was happening the outer frame bowed up and out away from the frame and the volume buttons slid down and now it wont snap back together, now it thinks there is headphones plugged in when there is not. They keep trying to tell me its "customer induced" damage when in the pics that they had me send them clearly shows that there is no other damage to it but that. Its been escalated to the highest level supposedly but I don't believe that. I want to talk to a person that speaks English fluently and understands that crazy things happen every day with products. Its not like they aren't going to fix and send it right back out as a refurbished device. So does anyone have a number or a way to contact someone other then the non English speaking tech people.

A Dell rep recently scammed me into buying speakers they said were on discount. However they were just selling me cheap speakers. When I called to make a complaint about the sales person I got the run around until I was disconnected.
Good luck dealing with Dell if you have a compliant.

No offense to anybody,but the guys on Dell support speak worse english than me,my first language is not english either and sometimes I have such hard time understanding them.
Had to call today because my Streak keeps freezing if it's facing my leg,I had such difficult time understanding every single word they guy said but anyways they are gonna send me a replacement so we'll see.....though as soon as I get it in the mail I am gonna list it on ebay,I am kind of tired of this device and its glitches.
hey guys ive been offered a dell streak 5, but the cover for the touch buttons has came off, apparently the buttons still work and the cover just needs replaced, if i cant get old one back on is it easy enough to source a replacement or is it a whole new housing? also ive already got an x10i is the streak a better phone , i ve heard its good but im looking for people who have actually used it

No it's just one little piece. The streak is an awesome phone, but I've never used the x10i so I won't compare.

My 6th Streak5 looks like it might be dead. All I get is the Dell logo. Can't boot to recovery, can't boot to fastboot, QDL can't do anything with it. Re-imaged the internal SD and no change. Tried 2 separate cards.

If anyone has any more suggestions, I'm open but I'm gonna start looking for replacements.

The battery and charger are only a few months old. Yeah I'm gonna part it out so if you're interested, PM me. I've got the battery, charger, Otterbox Commuter, windshield holder, official Dell dock, and lots of cables.
