Can i fill disel in mine gasoline car no I don't, Android is android, and winmo is winmo
It would be possible if you can run android on x2
Sony support department confirm that they do not have any plan to accept android on X2. So they do not responsible for any modify from Win Mobile to Android. That sound not happy to Android fans but out side for me. I also love Win Mobile so much as desktop OS system. Onyone has try to install Adroid succeed on X2????

Hi I was wondering if it is possible to make like a emulator of iphone for our Android devices, so that we can play iphone games. I know Android market is growing and soon we will overtake apple market but I dont think that will be so soon. For now is it possible to make a Emulator of iphone/ipad so that we can play the games?

Simple, No
The task you ask is a great one, neigh on impossible to do on current phone hardware. The games would run terribly, the OS wouldn’t be properly loaded. And the coding to do so would be great. Oh, and it would be highly illegal
its possible i see some games in other forum, i tried them on topaz android run but not fast enough

I think his referring to ports of games, not the iPhone games itself being emulated within Android....
As to me Topaz is either the Linux GTK theme manager, or the port of Android to Touch Pro 2 project... Neither of them make sense in his sentence
Its sad! There is way too many games for Ipad
with the new android phones packing 1ghz and some with dedicated gpu, I wonder if this is possible now

It still results into Steve Jobs suing the dev. If you remember the whole iPhone 4 incident

Not so sure about this though. Emulating another platform's app on a secondary platform has been done before and sure isn't illegal. For instance, the StyleTap PalmOS emulator which is out for WinMo and iPhone OS and it sure is legal. Only problem is that with android emulating iPhone apps/games. Apple will be the one that is going to kick up a fuss about it.
so who wants to start writing a binary translation layer? =D

If it was ever to be developed it would be something similar to Wine on Linux which has been going for years successfully, so not illegal but apple would kick up a fuss.
Another simple way, get those dev of iPhone games to come over to Android ASAP. Those dev need to know that Android is on the rise against iPhone, just like China rising against the USA.
Let me first clarify that I'm talking about in theory
It would theoretically be possible to cram X10i´s Android on Vivaz?
And vice versa again cram Vivaz´s Symbian onto X10i?
I think they have both 8 mega pixels and both video recording.
Both have three physical buttons at the bottom, and not least touchscreen .
However, the Vivaz not blink indicator.
Sry for my bad english .....

Usually is pretty difficult to port an OS on a different phone.
Just like your windows at home, a phone needs drivers for everything and this means those drivers have to be available or written for that specific platform.
To answer your questions, yes, it is possible
It is doable in short time? Most likely no.
It took years for android to be ported on iphone 2g and 3g and is not ported yet on 3gs so, figure out how long will take to put symbian on X10 (personally i'm wondering who will want that. i got rid of my old phone simply because was running symbian).
That´s right, but now Android OS and iPhone OS, us two completely different Operating systems.
I think more that you could cram a modded X10i Android OS (With S/E UX) onto Vivaz (Since they both phones are from S/E) So you just missing and create driver for Screen and processor ??.
Know that it is not equal to
Can i install windows mobile 6.5 in Vivaz ???

Square peg round hole!
VIVAZ has just 75MB internal memory X10 has 1gb! ...even the X10 mini tops that with 53 mb more at 128mb! ... taking into consideration customizations/branding etc it could be more or less left over of the total!
It wont go!
It would be great, if we could get Android OS on Vivaz.
why not...
Google "jetdroid"
to see that its possible to install android on Samsung jet which is Java mobile
Please God not Symbian. Terrible software memories from my Vivaz experience which lasted a week before swapping out for a w995!
It was like trying to playing COD on a Commodore64
Why not?
Vivaz has got OMAP3630 720 MHz ARM Cortex A8 like Motorola Milestone 2.
Camera driver - maybe from X10?
There are Jetdroid and Wavedroid.. So why not Vivazdroid?
I have tried to make a compare...
But it could be nice with Android OS on Vivaz...
I dont think you really get it, its like trying to mate a snail with a tiger

Maybe, maybe not.
X8 have 3´ screen, 600Mhz, 168Mb Ram. It has worse hardware and it runs Android
A friend of mine has a Vivaz and has just today asked me whether it would be possible to install Android. From the hardware requirements, it would be possible.
Is it possible or not? Where can I make myself smart or where there are instructions for it? He would like to flash his Vivaz with Android, Symbian so down! He asked me to make me smart and then maybe flash to be Vivaz with Android.
im also looking to flash a cfw to the vivaz, my girlfriend got one and is moaning that she hates it, i have had a look and it is a pos, dunno how it got go ahead to be made. looking to get rid of symbian, (never been a fan) and put android, or wm, or anything better then what it currently has.
is there any update on this theme >?
@x10mike,, LOL !!!!!

++1 ,, You are right!
ive got a vivaz as well and its poo. id love to have the android os on it. i was just wondering is there any way to at least update the symbian os? even if only to symbian ^2?
I know how to get android on the vivaz... get an Xperia Neo
hehe, lame joke, i know.
I also had the vivaz before my x10..hated it from day 2..lol. I couldn't get past the small screen much less the symbian os my brother warned me about. Took it back well within my 30days..

It was very interesting that one was clearly running windows mobile on HD2 and yet had tabs that said Android Widgets. They were empty though, didn't have anything running in them.
Never really liked the carousel, pretty pointless but everything else about the spb shell I loved on winmo. For android though it's not that different from other launchers.
this proves how fake is spb! they were running an empty UI, where launcher was just a screenshot ... it's clearly proved that G-market can only runs on android OS.
Here are better quality screenshots.
it look so sweet, someone needs to upload this program soon
Are any of you running this now?
I think some of you aren't understanding what this is. SPB mobile shell 5 is a new UI created by SPB for android, winmo and symbian. It will unify the ui for these different operating systems.
Mobile shell 5 is going to be sold to manufacturers to be included on new phones. I am unsure if it will be for sale on its own. It has not been released yet so nobody is running it.
It will definitely not allow you to run android apps on windows mobile.

yea but the hd2 is clearly running windows mobile 6.5 with many Google apps installed on it and 100% sure the apps dont work on winmo
Fulltilt poker has released a beta version of rush poker for mobile devices. Unfortunately, the app is for driod users and not windows mobile. What are the chances of making a windows mobile version of the app?
I'm unable to post links, so if you google "fulltilt releases mobile poker" you'll see the info.
Thanks!
Not good. Android stuff is Java based, whereas WinMo stuff is .net or C#/++ based. Why not just download an Android build and run it on your HD2 and play it there? I recommend Redtopia for speed and stability.
Yeah, I'll probably head in that direction.
Dears,
Can any one tell me how to install andorid or windows 7 on my xperia x2 windows mobile 6.5.3 as i'm really feed up with it since i got it. pls reply.

because Windows Mobile 7 may requires some high-end specifications
