Anyone having major FC with LP on reboot/startup?
I love that launcher, better then ADW IMO. LOVE the scrollable dock! Amazing.
Just wanted to see if anyone else is having issues with it.
Nope. Do a full wipe and re flash the rom. You can try uninstalling LP then reinstall but sounds like you need to reflash CM.
Swyped on my rooted MyTouch4G
After a while lp has done this to me. Go into preference and restore to factory and set it up again. Seems like after restoring backups enough times, it gets kinda unstable. I just had to do this, and its flying again

I am having audio problems with my Hero after rooting and install Fresh Rom 2.1.2.
I added the patch for SU problems.
I am experiencing problems with audi on my phone from time to time.
I think its the following bug...
httpp://bugs.geekfor.me/view.php?id=12
Looks like their recommendation is to "Using OC Widget instead of SetCPU seems to be the fix for this one. ".
Does anyone know how to do this on Fresh ROM 2.1.2. I am not familiar with how to set this.
Thanks!
Uninstall SetCPU and download OverClock Widget from the market.
Thanks!
Installed OC widget, will test...
SetCPU was not installed, that I can tell on stock Fresh ROM, I installed OC but still see same audio problems. Usually when you are texting or typing ie contacts or IM and a call comes in, all sound is killed and only a shutdown can fix
try running the .5 RUU, then see if it still does it (w/o rooting your phone, and don't install updates). if you're good, then root / install rom, see if it still does it. if not, you're good. if so, need a new hero (if it does it w/o rooting)
Works fine with the Stock .5. I recovered back to the stock rooted and no problems. Something with the Fresh ROM. Looks like most people are using the Fresh Toast and they changed clocks to fix it. No way for people with Fresh ROM to work around looks like to me...
I just recently downgraded and flashed CM7 onto my phone, and I'm loving it so far. I just have a couple questions. Is there a way to restore the functionality of the emoticon button on the keyboard? It was nice to be able to quickly add emoticons into texts, rather than using quick text or Handcent's built-in emoticons. I am currently on CM-7-11092011 Nightly, so I haven't seen if any updates have potentially fixed it (or can fix it).
Also, a general update question. If I use ROM Manager or Clockwork Mod Recovery to upgrade my ROM to a newer nightly, will it upgrade it to the "stock" nightly, rather than keeping my preferences? I know I can use Titanium Backup to recover my settings, but, in my experience, this has occasionally caused problems with my phone.
Thanks!
You're screwed on the emoticon button thus far. As far as updating nightlies you should always make a nandroid firwst but you should be fine just flashing the new over the old and without wiping data. Which means you can keep all your settings and apps. I haven't wiped mine clean in a long time and I flash all the nightlies.
Hey guys, I've had my transformer for just under a year and love it to death, but for the last couple of days it has been giving me hell! I was running ARHD 3.4.1 with Guevor's ICS kernel (can't remember version, either 19.4, 20 or 21). Anyway, all was well until I changed to ARHD 3.5.1 and switched to raymanfx's harmony kernel to try it out. I couldn't get my videos to play on mxplayer, FC's on apps, random freezes and tablet kept randomly rebooting. So I reflashed ARHD 3.5.1 again, same, reflashed guevor kernel, same, updated CWM to Rogue XM Touch Recovery v1.5.0-R1, same. Finally used this method: http://www.theandroidsoul.com/update-and-restore-eee-pad-transformer-to-stock-ice-cream-sandwich/ to flash back to stock, no root, no nothing annnnnd... same! Same issues no matter what I try. So my question is, with a few weeks of ASUS global warranty left (bought it in HK so I can't take it back to 'shop') can/should I send it back now that it's flashed back to stock without them finding out I rooted it? Or is there something I'm missing that you guys can think of. Please let me know asap in case I do need to send it back. Thanks in advance. Oh and let me know if you need more info
Maybe a stupid question...
Did you do a factory reset in between flashing the different roms and kernels? Full factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik?
Not a stupid question at all, but yes, I tried all three

I can't think of anything else causing that behaviour. Restoring apps, data and system data with Titanium has been a source of trouble for me in he past. Restoring setCPU with profiles that don't work well with the new kernel for example. But I guess that's not the case here. At least stock ROM should be working.
Sorry, maybe someone else has another idea.
Hi, I have installed CM10.1.3 stable on my US Cellular XT901 electrify M. The ROM is same as for XT907. everything works fine until after few days my some of the apps specifically games starts freezing giving error ' process.system not responding' and game also force closes. After that every other game or browser like chrome start to Force close giving same error. I reflashed the ROM in clean way.
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
manual format system
mount system(tried without this step also, nothing changes)
flashed ROM zip
wipe dalvik cache
after activation reboot
flashed Gapps
Tried slim bean ROM build 7.1......having issues with musicFX and poweramp compatibility.
tried different 4.3 ROMS they all feel somewhat laggy.
So can anyone suggest me any solution for CM10.1.3? or suggest another 4.2.2 based stable custom rom.
Back up whatever you need to and reflash back to stock 4.1 using Matts Utility ( Look in Developement Section). Then download and read the instructions on how to flash Liquid Smooth. Its by far the smoothest and astest rom ive used on my Droid M. Except i cant get my bloody Whatsapp contacts to sink. Good luck.
I used liquid smooth and loved it... except batery life which sucked really bad!... it made my M's batery life feel as bad as my Galaxy Nexus was... Terribad!
..
I've tried AOKP and never looked back, batery life is awesome!
Also, big part of Liquid Smooth's slickness is due to the launcher it comes with => Nova Launcher.
Thanks for the reply.
can you provide the link for Liquid Smooth V2.9 because i have v2.8 and it is not working fine. Not able access quick settings menu!!
Does making Nandroid restore to stock 4.1 will help?
I am currently on the f model and after the N910FXXU1DPH2_N910FOXA1DPH2_DBT my phone has come to an almost unusable state. Fc, random reboots, freezes during calls, black screens etc. Full factory reset and reinstalling didn't helped. I have root and tried some custom roms but i need some opinions. I want a MM based rom with full Spen and snote usage. I dont care nor use fingerprint, shealth, svoice, knox, android pay, note 7 or edge gimmics or ports. I just want a stable light and reliable rom to fully use the spen, make and receive calls, send texts, use social media and have full data and wifi connectivity and as less bloat as possible. A theme feature will be nice but not mandatory. Cheers and ty in advance!
The feeling I get from reading the various threads on these fora is that stock ROM remains to be the most stable of the lot. If you are having these problems with clean stock then could it be your setup or a hardware fault that is causing these issues?
If it is not a hw issue, then it could be that TWRP has been corrupted. Try downloading and reinstalling your recovery.
I am using nameless now and it looks pretty sweet. About the recovery when I first updated it reverted to stock recovery. I reseted to factory settings which caused me to loss root. And today when I tried to get to nameless I could not get twrp to install via flash via odin. It succeeded but it always booted to stock recovery. I had to root first and then install twrp through it's app from the play store. Anyway all seems pretty solid in nameless I will try it out for a few days.
