I know the wallpaper is 799x666 but I'm having trouble locating the size of the lockscreen wallpaper that I seen on here before. Anyone know off hand?
it's the same as our splash screen 480 x 800

I've been wondering about the size of wallpaper for topaz. When we download a wallpaper with 480x800 px in size then we view it on topaz, the wallpaper seems very sharp...but once we set it into wallpaper turn into kinda blur..
Maybe because it compressed to fit the space between the top and down bar?
Anybody know about it?

Its a common issue, newer manila builds allow you to set your landscape wallpaper separate from portrait.
What's the wallpaper size for the Desire? Want to make my own Pioneer CDJ one I've used on all my phones of late...and where do you save them once done?
I think its 960X800 same as Nexus One.
Nice one my friend - will confirm once I've had a play about
Why do any pics you set as wallpaper (even in 960 x 800) are so much more zoomed in??? Is there a way to rectify this?
Yeah, just try dragging one of the corners of the crop rectangle, you'll be able to set them at full size
nice, that solve it, hehehe. thanks
I never really worked this out on my phone either, but how do you actually set a wallpaper that fits decenty and isnt over zoomed?
I have tried zedge, gallery,hd wallpapers and never really managed consistent results.
Thanks
Android wallpapers are as follows
Hold the device in portrait. The wallpaper will be:
Width: Pixels Across Screen x 2
Height: Same
So if my phone resolution was 480x800, I would need wallpapers that were 960x800 to fit properly. On the vega the resolution is 600x1024 and so you need images that are 1200x1024 to fit properly.
I am trying to use this theme:
http://mycolorscreen.com/2013/11/04/colorful-elegance-2/
When I try and set the wallpaper on my the LG default launcher or the SS launcher it wants me to crop the image into a 1:1. I would like to maintain the 9:16 apsect ration while in portrait and use the full 1080 x 1920 image. I think this has something to do with the wallpaper scrolling. I tried to set the wallpaper with Wallpaper Wizardrii and remove the scrolling but it didnt work. It still scrolls and it still makes me crop the image.
-Any help is appreciated.

Try app Image 2 Wallpaper on play store.
Thanks for your reply. I was able to get it to work by setting my background image in SSluancher and not the wallpaper.
The stock gallery has display issues if it does not run at 480 dpi and with 320 dpi as system dpi set I just can't stand this grandpa style dpi setting lol.
So I was wondering if there is any replacement app that can change both the wallpaper and lockscreen wallpaper through an activity like the gallery can? (beeing able to set a shortcut for quick wallpaper change)

Snap Camera comes with Snap Gallery, or try the Sony Album .apk in the theme section
