Hi,
I have an US AT&T galaxy tab, flashed for voice and data with P1000XXJK5 (from the following post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=847273)
With the stock 2.2 froyo rom, I was able to use my HID keyboard, now with this european rom, the same keyboard will pair, but no longer connect. Besides the voice and data functions, I don't really have a need for much more modifications.
What would be the most direct way to regain BT HID support?
Thanks in advance
Flash Roto-JMEv4. It has HID support (works great with my ThinkOutside keyboard).
Jj3 should but its old

Thanks for the info regarding the roms. I may try that soon when my GT isn't my primary phone. I was somewhat reluctant to flash again, but I got lucky. While I was figuring out my CSC setting, I realized I was set to KOR. So I switched over to CPN (as suggested by others) and seems like I was factory reset to the current rom. This fixed my BT issue.

Just flashed Froyo on my Epic, and now the WIFI setup shows "Error"...
It seems like I ran across a fix for Wifi issues, but can't remember, and can't find anything on Google. Anyone out there have a solution?

Not having any issues. Are you getting an error after the setup is started or immediately when opening setup? what rom are you running? Did you use a restore app to restore any user data?
What exactly did you flash (which rom or release)? Did you flash a modem.bin/modem.tar as well or just the rom? What did you use to flash (clockwork/redbend, odin/heimdal)? What settings did you use in your flashi.g tool (for example did you select phone or pda in odin if you used that?)

Also, do you have cell coverage and/or 3g? What aout 4g if avail in your area? What version is listed in your about phone(include the release and the baseband field as well)

OK so i've had my tab for about two weeks and i can't get a clear answer as to what my options are for flashing my device. I see many JMC and JJ6 and I'm really lost. I know there are many models of this tab but i want to know for the American tmobile tab specifically.
the firmware i have says JJB...What are my options as far as to flashing to a new firmware?
Is there an official upgrade?
I will only use it for data and not voice calls, so i want to have 3G. I would like a fix to the lag in the calendar and browser.
Can any of the firmwares help me?
I also installed Kies with drivers and it doesn't see my tab? Do i have to be in download mode for Kies to see my tab?
Thank you very much for your time.
Same boat as you. awaiting some guidance as well.
Same thing here. Kies doesn't recognize my tab and I'm on JJB. Changing your IMEI works though, allowing for 3G and bypassing the T-Mobile redirect. I'm on the old school 5.99 T-zones plan and getting unlimited 3g .
same here there is very little guidance and very helpful people but I can't seem to just get a simple question answered here or there to feel comfy enough to flash my new tab, I know you want rotojme because there are no bootstraps installed. I know the koush clockwork mod kernel installs ext4 file system which is great but I can't remember where to put the files I need to adb? lol Im a mess cause its been since the g1 that I have ever adb anything.
Has anyone using JJB taken the leap of upgrading to a better firmware? How did you do it?
Any advise would be appreciated.

JJB is possible
Happy New Year.
New roto's rom is working great. So far I flashed 6 units no problem. They were all JJB. Here is bottom line.
Current status, No voice and 3G possible.
Users have 2 options.
1. 2G(EDGE) with Voice by flasing (Euro Rom)
2. 3G only (with IMEI Mod)
I appreciate Rotohammer's hardwork for this.
If you need more detail, check out following blog at
sooparkhero.blogspot.com
It will go through step by step tutorials.
Can't wait for there to be a tutorial on how to flash a T-mo tab and get 3G. That's all I'm waiting for.
I went through the same mess with mine. I finally just flashed the full jm6 for samfirmwares.com and then just the pda piece of jmc. Since then i used rotos pre rooted jme. Again by just flashing the pda piece. The day after i flashed jm6 is wheb all this talk about different bootloaders came up, so im not sure which boat i am in but i could care less. This jme is ridiculous compared with stock tmo firmware. I am happy enough.with it for this to be the final state of my tab. Lower the lcd density a bit for a better looking tab and remove the contents of your efs folder(AFTER backing it up) for the imei mod that frees you from the webconnect plan and you are set
Issues with roms
There has been some issues with new roms. The issue is once you flash into one of these roms you can't revert back to old one. Here is related link.

Professionals recommand not to use these roms until they are modified and further tested.
Hello
i just updated my galaxy s to the leaked 2.3.3 build from a danish 2.2.1 build i tryed reflashing it since i had problems with no data connection and errors in phone part ( though it worked, just a bit buggy) the reflash and repartion that i choose to do since i had voodoo kennel on my phone before did not help either, so now my phone cant use data connection
anyone have any suggestions? maybe it is a common error? i tryed googling and looking a bit but did not see anything.
I really appreciate the help, another thing i would love would be a 2.3.3 build with danish keyboard/speech in it.
Are you saying that you flashed to a phone that was lagfixed .
If so its broke your phone Undo lagfix before flash is rule one .
You will need to flash stock rom using Odin to get a working phone .
jje
Okay but i flashed the version that was out in the forum with Odin, what Rom should i flash to get back to a state where i can flash 2.3.3 with Odin again? and will i need to re partion, i kinda thought that would take care of the laggfix?
I'm not sure what your problem is. Just take the files from the JVK Rom (PDA, Modem, CSC) add a pit file (512.pit or what you want) and select repartition and click start. Don't need to disable lagfix if you do it that way.

Hmm okay the thing is i already did exactly that and still no data connection :S
Maybe i need to flash a kennel without laggfix?
I have now flashed samsung stock kennel for 3.3.3 , i have reflashed 2.2.1 the version i get from my kies in Denmark and everything works in 2.2.1, now i tryed reflashing 2.3.3 and i still got the same problem as before any help would be much appreciated
Sounds like you need to put in your telco specific APN to get data working.

okay sounds like something that might work, where can i find this apn?
where do i find this file?
It's not a file, it's the name/details of a server on your provider's network. If you didn't back up your original firmware, you'll probably have to call your network or check their website.
Word to the wise - reposting the same question after 7 minutes won't win you too many friends
Danish 2.3.3 keyboard - best to wait until the Nordic firmware is released/leaked.
Thanks the VPN from my network provider solved it!
btw i did not repost any question it was not the same question and i only posted course i was still in doubt.
again thank you all, properly never would have throught of VPN Settings by myself
No problem, glad you sorted it out.
Hi Everyone,
I have a Galaxy note 10.1 (N8010 wifi only), and I was wondering if anyone has been able to find a good Jelly Bean firmware for this device.
I have installed the Stock N8000 (3G version) on my N8010 using Odin, and while the software works great as long as the screen is unlocked, random reboots occur when the screen is locked.
I don't really want to give up Jelly Bean on my tablet as the Samsung apps (S Note, multi-tasking, etc) are much improved, the improved usability has led me to the decision to deal with the random reboots for the time being.
Is there any way to port over the upgraded Samsung application software (improved S Pen functionality, updated TouchWiz sustem) to the ICS stock firmware? If not, is there a firmware/ROM out there for Jelly Bean that is made to operate on the wifi only version?
I could flash a custom ROM, though I haven't found one with the Samsung apps included - would this be accessible by flashing gapps or something similar (probably not gapps since it's Samsung software).
I would happily stick with the JB ROM I have now if there was any way to address the random rebooting issue, I've tried uninstalling any phone/SMS/mobile network related software using a utility called Link2SD but the random rebooting persists.
I have also tried (per the advice of another thread) enabling airplane mode to that it stops seeking mobile networks, though I have enabled wifi from here to make my tablet useful...rebooting still occurs, though it may be less frequent.
I'm rooted, so if there's anything I can do as root to address the rebooting issue, advice would be much appreciated. I just want to take an axe to all things mobile data/3G related. I'm sure I'm not the only one suffering with this issue here!
Cheers,
Nick
If you read here for about 15 min, you will find all that is needed for your problem. Get setcpu app and set to on demand and no more reboots, flash the n8010 fix to eliminate the phone framework.

Missing Toolbar
Thank you very much for this info, much appreciated!
I have overcome the random rebooting issue, though my toolbar seems to have gone missing! I wiped the dalvik cache, not sure if that's what cleared it out? Anyway, I'll wipe my tab and set it up again to see if the toolbar returns. Thanks again!
Cheers,
Nick

The fix for 8010 worked for me, I used the German deodexed Rom. After you flash the jb Rom, boot in it and set-up your stuff, only after that get in cwm and flash the fix.

Help me please guys. I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 model SGH-I337. My manager helped me use Safe Strap to flash a Nexus ROM. I like the ROM alot but my internet is no longer 4g lte, it's now H plus. I have unlimited data but i downloaded an app to enable me to tether. My gathering no longer works unless i do it via Bluetooth. My Google chrome also force closes every time i open it. Usally i would just switch back to my stock touch wiz in this case. The problem is my manager put the stock rom on his sd card because i had no room on mine. I cannot get it back from him because he is on vacation. So i backed up this ROM because it works at least(I've found ways around those problems but they are very annoying.)
What i am asking is i wanna just flash a new rom that works( enables tethering, amazing on battery, preferably a google or android[i will take touch wiz as a last resort]) but I'm unsure of what i should search for because my phone model after the nexus ROM is GT-I9505G. Do i get a ROM for that our what? PLEASE HELPPP!!!!
Get a rom for the i337. not the i9505

Thank you guys very much!!
While I have you here, what ROM's do you reccomend for the AT&T varient Galaxy S 4? The SGH-I337.
Thank you guys very much!!
Do you know of any ROM's that are flaw less on my S4? I would like one that is great on battery and very smooth and fast. One that let's me utilize tethering and 4g lte. That is also compatible with safe strap. Thank in advanced.
