sms settings hack

hi all
i am one of them sms junkies and it is costing me a fortune because i am in oz. could you please help on how to hack sms settings for free sms's. i need it urgently i am using vodafone network.thanks in advance.please email me all suggestions to [email protected].

Its not quite free but you get 2p texts (im from england) but i think its an international thing: fishtext http://www.fishtext.com/
you install a java app and send them from in there, the reciever gets the text message from your number (rather than the text service's number) so friends can just click reply.
it's easy to top up your online credit, just send a normal text from your phone to fish text and it takes £5 off your credit and puts £5 in your online credit.

looking for a modded one v sms app

hi all i, i'm using gen.y beta 5, and i have a problem, as you know after 800 caracters (5 messages) the sms automatically convert into an sms.
my problem is that i have to send long sms and i have a promotion for unlimited sms, but i pay mms 50 cents, so can someone teach me ho to change tha htc sms app to turn off the auto conversion?
i know i can use others app (go sms etc etc) but i really like the stock one....

I'm looking for an app that will send out
A text to maybe 100 or more contacts.
I have Wanam mods installed so my text limit is 999. But I can't seem to send mass text from any sms program.

I don't use Wanam much so I can't help you out there but if you don't find another option have you considered a mass text service. I know alot of club promoters who use them but I don't know how often you'd be doing your mass texts for it to be worth paying for monthly.

Text messaging count

Hey guys, is there a reason Facebook messages or wechat messages (not sure which one) count as text messages? I have unlimited, but it says i use around 1000 per month while i use less than 100 text messages per month.

Its definitely not Facebook because I use that and haven't noticed this behavior ... Although Facebook chat allows you to message SMS so you might look into that if there is an option to disable that
