Ok so I tried moving the stock glacier browser .apk on to the evil D's desire z rom but I only get a fc after opening it, yes I fixed permissions and everything. Does anyone know what else I'm missing? Perhaps another apk or file?

Really? That's disappointing......I hate the fact that this browser has a limit of 4 windows and that its full screen, but I chose Sense UI over espresso.
Can anyone else confirm that this just isn't possible? I just want to be sure before I give up.

No. It's launcher2 from the G2 system dump.
This screenshot should show it a bit more; no home app has screen previews like Launcher2.

On Sense ROM's it won't work like it should. Problem is, that the phone application isn't installed.

What phone app? The stock one? It'll use the HTC one. Quote a few sense roms have stock contacts and dialer anyway

Only if you adb push it. ADW is configured as stock Android launcher on CM6 so you'll have to remove that to get this

I'm on CM7 so I don't have Sense anymore. When I did I would get that loading screen frequently. Not sure about the Desire port fixing it but if you haven't tried it yet and like Sense then you should def give it a try.

I just flashed desire z rom, the problem is gone. I am glad because I love sense, and its got lots of compatibility and skins and bhtc account. Its amazing but stock is still bad

That's not really a solution.
I never had that happen, ever, on any sense rom. Sounds like there is a lot going on in the background.

I disagree it's not a solution, it is a possible solution. It's a round about way of saying that the launcher itself is slow loading, and that a different launcher will alleviate the problem.
You're assuming the launcher is slow loading for other reasons then that it just is. It certainly won't hurt to try a different launcher and see if that fixes the issue the OP has.
I am an app dev, not a hacker but i noticed between dz software and shift software, the same loading screen happens whenever you change themes. So many htc took a shorcut and made the launcher occasionally reload the sense "theme" i would not know how to fix this in the stock roms but, thats information i do have.

Could be that you just have too many widgets on your homescreen that it reloads every time you press home.

When you install another launcher app sense launcher can be frozen in titanium backup. But it shouldn't run on its own because it hasn't been called by the system to run.

Oww ok. But one more thing. Why install a sense ROM if your gonna install a different launcher ? Wasn't sense roms meant for there widgets.
Also when froozen, sense apps disappear like clock music etc.

I like to switch to different launchers on sense sometimes so I don't have to flash a different ROM to change things up once in awhile. I'm starting to think aosp is just too boring for me. I like sense and miui lately.

The Sense camera is phenomenal, it's part of the reason I get drawn back to Sense. There's more to Sense than just a launcher, ya know

Okay so we all know the 'personalize' softkey is useless and redundant and I need it remaped.I was using the Synergy RC1 rom (amazing) and it had the option to do just that but there was a problem with copy protected apps not showing in the Market,so I had it let it go.Now im running Virtuous unity v1.27.0 and was wondering it theres an app similar too that or is there an mod I can do to remap it to messages or internet.thnx

Okay so I extracted the 'rosie settings' app form synergy rom and it installed but when I run it is says I'm running a kanged version of rosie settings any way to bypass this ? And I know what kanged means but still I didn't steal it because you can pay for it .Wtf can anybody shed some light on this?
