I really like the froyo with sense roms available but the not HTC contacts apps.
Is there a way to replace the sense contacts app by the stock one ?

As the title says... is it possible? The stock android contacts/dialer is so ugly...
Me too is looking for this...
try phonebook 2.0 in the market, its a decent replacement.
PhoneBook 2.0 is not a good enough replacement. I didn't find any way to automatically map my contacts to Facebook or twitter contacts.

No. It's launcher2 from the G2 system dump.
This screenshot should show it a bit more; no home app has screen previews like Launcher2.

On Sense ROM's it won't work like it should. Problem is, that the phone application isn't installed.

What phone app? The stock one? It'll use the HTC one. Quote a few sense roms have stock contacts and dialer anyway

Only if you adb push it. ADW is configured as stock Android launcher on CM6 so you'll have to remove that to get this

hmmm...i'd like to explain a little bit, because im using those apks that we're given in the link provided before:::
For SMS 3.0 -- install the MMS apk, (Its all the same).
Then you have the doubleshot and Kingdom LockScreen.
The doubleshot is the 3.0 lockscreen but without the shortcut/widget thingys.
The Kingdom is also the 3.0 lockscreen, but it has the widgets and background (the background that gives the weather effect/social updates/clock/etc... effect on the LockScreen)
The Kingdom Lockscreen needs the new weather app and mms app to make the notification work.
Currently i have the mms and (doubleshot) lockscreen. and they both work, but the weather apk needs the new weatherprovider and weatherSyncProvider to work (uninstalling them and reinstalling doesnt work with me, so i dont have it).
These will work on a clean 2.36.405.8 based GingerBread + HTC Sense 2.1 ROMs only (as stated on the post).
As for those that flash it and get problems, well, thats because you're running a stock-ROM (like me) and have a ODEXed ROM. Those with DEODEXed ROMs can flash this normally and make this work.
Since i have a ODEXed ROM, you will encounter many issues. I am trying to fix those issues. And if i do, i'll post a solution.

Kingdom is a HTC model. i.e. HTC Kingdom, just like HTC desire HD.
It has sense 3.0 and its ROM has been leaked, so people are modifying it to make it work.
So technically, there is HTC Kingdom contains Sense 3.0.
is there a way to undo the Sense 3.0 weather?

When you install another launcher app sense launcher can be frozen in titanium backup. But it shouldn't run on its own because it hasn't been called by the system to run.

Oww ok. But one more thing. Why install a sense ROM if your gonna install a different launcher ? Wasn't sense roms meant for there widgets.
Also when froozen, sense apps disappear like clock music etc.

I like to switch to different launchers on sense sometimes so I don't have to flash a different ROM to change things up once in awhile. I'm starting to think aosp is just too boring for me. I like sense and miui lately.

The Sense camera is phenomenal, it's part of the reason I get drawn back to Sense. There's more to Sense than just a launcher, ya know

Hi, does anyone know how to install the sense 3 messaging app on older versions of sense? It's just so much better than this stock Desire app!
I'm running Tabasco Silky v2.0, an AOSP ROM.
Try pushing the apk to system/apps with setting permissions. Not sure, tho, it may require sense framework.
