I used pit with EC05's modem on odin 1.82 (or so it says) and it was fine actually...
pit is useless without the repartition checked

About #9 are you saying to not check update phone bootloader unless you use the Debugkernel separate tar that came with the leak?

Potential critical error when doing rooting please help

hello there! I was using this tutorial:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsKvFaPdm5s
and I encountered an error:
http://i.imgur.com/p7fQ0jG.png?1
the program ran for a good 5 seconds and then I was met with that error, my phone looks like this:
http://i.imgur.com/60f0iZL.jpg?1
so it appears that it may have something to do with...my...Cache? I'm not really sure that would really mean, though.
Help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

Hmm alright, I downloaded Official VRUBMI9 4.3, and yet when I click on PIT in Odin, I get nothing
in other words, in your instructions here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483380
it says "Step 5: Click on the Pit function of Odin and select Pit file you downloaded in Step:2."
The problem with that, is that when I click on Pit, I get nothing, here's a picture of what I'm talking about: http://i.imgur.com/gJ2O0iu.png?1
So even though I downloaded Official VRUBMI9 4.3, I get no options for anything, when I click on Pit
Know what's going on here?
You want the file from this link
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23159073880936457
its not zipped, so wherever you download it to is where you navigate to from the PIT button..
And youre most likely using the wrong odin file you should be using MJ7. You get the secure cache check fail from trying to flash MI9 over top the new firmware (ie when you tried the de la vega it is MI9 firmware only Kingo works with MJ7)

okay so there's your link, but what about VRUBMJ7 4.3? I'm downloading that now....Do I use your link you just linked me, as well as VRUBMJ7 4.3?
You can use the .pit alone to see if that will unbrick it or use both to return it to stock MJ7 file is linked in that thread http://downloads.crackflasher.com/?dir=Devs/Hashcode0f/note3/hltevzw

[Q] need a lot of help

Hi, I have a sgh i337. A few of my little cousins were playing with my phone and used vroot to accidentally uninstall the at&t software update app/ configuration from the phone. Now every time I press software update nothing happens. What do I do? Plus
My phone is unlocked and I live outside the USA.. will I still receive the OTA update or how do I update to Kit kat...
What do I do?
I don't know what firmware version you're on, but you're most likely going to have to use odin with your current firmware version. This will return you to stock. Backup everything before you do this.

When you use Odin it'll become more obvious. You'll down load the tar file to your pc. When you open Odin there will be an area named PDA which you'll browse to the tar file you downloaded.

Flashing Firmware on the SM-T580...BRF1

I can no longer get into the tablet, and I have a question about flashing this firmware.
In the .zip download, there are 4 .tar.md5 files. There are the usual AP and BL files, but then there are TWO CSC files. One is called CSC and the other is called Home CSCS. The only difference seems to be the name, they are even both the same size.
I should use the CSC, wwithout the HOME?
Now, the updato link: https://updato.com/how-to/how-to-install-an-official-samsung-stock-firmware-using-odin
tells me to only use the AP file in Odin... is that correct, or do I use all three files?
Thank You.-

I only used the AP file, and everything seems to work fine. Although the Home Page looks different now, a few of the apps are missing. (none that I want)
Even if seems to boot properly, should I still flash that one too?
