Hi there,
question, I have an a2dp bluetooth headset, which I use to listen to my music on my diamond, but since I've stopped using Touchflo3d I have the following problem: the play/pause/ffwd/bwd buttons only seem to work with windows media player. even worse, If I'm listening to music with pocket player and I touch one of the buttons, it automatically starts windows media player.
How can I turn this off? is there a tool to configure which software uses my a2dp functionality??
Even though it's extremely dead, you really should post in the Condiuts forum - not here. AVRCP is problematic at best on Windows Mobile. It's one of the main reasons I'm ditching Windows Mobile entirely as soon as I can find a good phone sporting Andriod (I'm crying about HTC's decision to not provide a HD2 based Andriod phone).
Which version of Pocket Player do you use? I'm using 4.1. I think 4.0 and 4.1 are the only ones that properly support AVRCP. Even so, sometimes, as you note, it goes and starts controlling WMP. Stupid HTC caused this!
Meantime check out http://www.conduits.com/community/forum_posts.asp?TID=1785&PN=1
It talks about a new Bluetooth DLL that fixes a lot of the problems (but, unfortunately not all). This DLL is a Windows Mobile 6.5 based DLL so that may explain some of the times when it messes up.
Good luck.

Hi,
I have a blackstone and the headset of it is broken.
so i bought a new one. its different from the old one but its original HTC with music switch. The switch doesn't work. I think its from the software, how can i fix it.
Windows mobile 6.1, 3.5 mini jack
same here, Im using a HTC desire headset 3.5mm jack, it has call, mic, music control, pretty sure it would be working on wm6.5 but am on wm 6.1 also, only button that works is the phone button, the music buttons do nothing.
what music app are you using to do this? i had this issue a long time ago but i upgraded the sense and it started to work (so wm6.1 but latest htc sense ui)
Sense 2.5 (2.5.20121225.2)
the cooked rom in my signature.
sorry i dont see sigs because someone on the forum has some huge sig of michael jackson which is VVVVV annoying.
Have you tried this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=502881
tnx but this is not what i'm searching for, this is for the original blackstone headset but i'm using the headset for HTC Desire because that one has multiple buttons. One for Previous, one for accepting/ending calls and pause/play music, one for Next.
And I tried upgrading to WM 6.5 but it still doesn't work
anyone else?
nobody who can help?
I have a few questions regarding this phone...
1. How does it handle music playback ? In terms of loudness, I mean. Currently I have 2 phones - a Touch Pro and a BB 8520. The BB is an outstanding performer when it comes to its musical capabilities, very loud - I'm using big dj headphones.
2. If I flash NAND Android, will I be able to use my SD card - currently 8gb, 16 gb will come soon.Cause without a card, what am I supposed to do with an empty phone ?
3. If I flash WP7, will I be able to use my card ? Same thing as above, read that there might be an issue of computer not recognising cards, but a Samsung or BBerry usually do the trick, cause they let u format the storage card.Right ? Or u have to do it strictly from a pc - with WP7 - cause it does some kind of sh** making it unusable ?
4. Is the NAND Android stable and faster than non-native WM 6.5 roms ? Cause my TP runs on an Energy rom and its still not great. And laggy. And I can't swear cause I would Is the overall speed fast or is it comparable to a native Android like the Desire ?
Please answer me cause based on the replies I will buy - or not - the HD2 thx
yes buy an hd2. when you flash nand android over. which its not just that, you need magldr radio and all the fun. but when you do you will be running android purely on your phone. and yes you can use the full capacity of your phones sd car have my phones sd slot. ihave my phone loaded with music. and i have a pair of skull candy ear buds and they are very loud and sound great. the integration of music play back is the best. its awesome with android. expecially get a music player called miui and then you will have a blast with it. there are fully stable anroid builds out there you just have to look at which ones are pushing it and which ones are stable. most are 99 percent stable.
Is there any Android ROMs for the HD2 that takes advantage of the CU S400s ability to swhitch the HD2 to "Docked" mode?
Had the same question a few days ago... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1069194
It seams that nobody use a car kit.
I have bought it with Windows Mobile on my device but no HD2 Android build can recognize it at this time.
The Desire HD use the same car kit and there it works - therefore it should be possible to port it to the HD2 but I have not the skills to do that
I have a stereo bluetooth headset (LG Tone) that I have been using with my HTC HD2. When used with Android, I get pretty good sound quality. However, in WP7 (I have tried two 7.8 ROMs) I get horrible sound quality with a hissing staticky noise. Anyone else have this problem and know a solution or a WP7 ROM that doesn't have this problem?
Thanks

check how many fast is your SD card (with WP Bench)... if lower than 6 MB/s change Sd card...
but unfortunately if you want good and no problems with A2DP you must buy original WP7 device... HD2 device not originally supported by WP7 and all drivers and settings developers make by own and still BT functions not working very well on HD2 with WP7
Ansar Rom works for BT A2DP.

That it does, and it's a fantastic ROM, but there's still absolute horrible sound quality through my bluetooth headset. It's a real pity, because Windows Phone is so brilliant otherwise, and it sucks to have to leave it over such a minor quibble...
yaay
