Is there any Android ROMs for the HD2 that takes advantage of the CU S400s ability to swhitch the HD2 to "Docked" mode?

It seams that nobody use a car kit.
I have bought it with Windows Mobile on my device but no HD2 Android build can recognize it at this time.
The Desire HD use the same car kit and there it works - therefore it should be possible to port it to the HD2 but I have not the skills to do that

Hello everybody.
i am using my htc touch hd with latest dutty rom and my car is unable to find my phone, once solution is to make the car visible and find it from my phone.
my htc s710 worked fine on the same systen in the mercedes e - class, the car downloaded all contacts automatically.
but with the touch hd, the car does not find my phone.
visible mode and bt is enabled.
i am going to try duttys wm 6.5 r1 release now.
any suggestions ?

Do you have remote SIM enabled in your BT settings?
yes i have rsap activated.
but the car does not find my touch hd i tried several roms.
6.1 roms and 6.5 roms.
Right now i am using a 6.5 rom from dutty.
my phone finds the car, but the car does not find the phone.
its a mercedes audio 50 system which works just as a headset for me, i cant use sms or access my contacts.
once way is to send all contacts into the car.
Maybe you could find silly what I'm about to tell, but...
Have you tried an original stock ROM?
And: does your Touch connect with other BT devices without problems?
i can connect to my computer here, and to other mobile phones. and i can connect to my car.
But advanced bt options are only available if the car finds the phone and not the phone finds the car, i think.
my phone finds the car, and i can use it as headset... and i can call from the car, and i am able to send contact from the blackstone to the car.
but i cannot read/write sms or use rsap.
the car told me "no telephone found"

well, before a week I have just purchased a HTC TOUCH HD UK from expansys
as my experience with first touch HD ELF which is stolen in bus of our university
I have upgraded the rom to windows 6.5 (ENERGY ROM LAST VER ) , but it become slower and hot when I run Android Via HaRet ??

You could try with an extralight ROM: if you run Android via HaRet the HD is working because runs a program (Android) all the time (so CPU works and makes HD hot).
To now there isn't possibility to flash HD with Android.
TomTom or iGo8 but HD become hot because CPU and GPS run...

Currently no way to flash Android onto rom. Only available as a programme on top of a rom. As already advised your best option may be an ultra light rom which should improve speed for you
My Mini Cooper 09 factory installed car kit (controled from within the Navigator screen) is not syncing with the HD2 phone book. it is functioning perfectly with other mobile phones (Iphone, Blackberry, Nokia ....etc.) .... tried everything including the 2 available firmwares 1.43 and 1.48!
Any Ideas??

Hi all, I have a wildfire and i have noticed a little problem.I have always had a WM ( upgrade my devices every year) and Android Phone.
I have noticed with android the bluetooth connection issue does not have the option to leave the device "discoverable" all the times ( unlike WM devices).
This was not much of a problem with the 1.5 ( htc hero), when it was paired with my bluetooth stereo everytime the phone rang it would connect to the headunit and work very well. I was actually impressed as it would save on my much needed battery. And work very well interms on hands free in the car.
The phone i have now is a htc wildfire,the phone will ring and when i pick up it remains on the internal speaker and does not "search" for the default hands free.
My device is not rooted, currently running the oem unlocked unbraded rom.
I have a few questions but done know where to place them?
Is there a way round?Does anyone know of a fix?
Who actually makes the rom?
Can they not program the device to have the always on feature?
Is it possible to extract the bluetooth program/app from the 1.5 and port it to the 2.1?
