Can you define 'safe'? If it means keeping your ability to root, then, if you download 2.34.75.1 from danne_jo's thread, then yes, it is safe.
I also tried installing languages through more locale..what do you think about that?
Please guide me, im a complete newbie and i dont need new rom, just the languages. Is more locale dependable?

From what I have been reading around these forums, yes, morelocale2 is reliable, and, has been recommended to many. (Havent used it personally)

Hello,
first sorry for my english.
So, I have HTC HD for couple of months and it is in danish language. I can't undertand a thing. So it would be really nice if somebody could explain step by step how to install default english rom or suggest me any cool custom english rom. I tried to search in this forum but i couldn't find any detailed tutorial. Thank you in advance.

Hi HD2010,
please read the following information from this thread (on post #1, 2 and 3) as it explains what is required to perform the whole flashing process: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505377
You can also see this blog as it explains the flashing process in a more step-to-step simplified manner.
If you want an english based custom ROM, then look for ROMs posted here that contain a [WWE - World Wide English] heading.
Regards.
Ok, thank you very mutch :] I'll try to use your links.

no problem mate. Just read everything carefully before you attempt any flashing of your device. As it is explained in those guides, you first need to unlock your phone first using either HSPL or USPL and then you can flash a custom ROM afterwards. So take your time, make sure you have a good understanding of everything, and you will be fine
Let us know how you get on.
Regards.
So, thank you again!!! :] I fallowed the tutorial on that blog and I succeeded, at last english interface. Awesome! So now i have Topix rom :] anyway which rom would you suggest and which is the fastest?

hey there
i'm glad it worked out for you mate
It really depends on what you are looking for. The best thing is to try and test other ROMs to verify which one meets your needs. You can try out the one i'm currently using (XannyTech ROM Grid Evo 1.7, build 28014) as it is very stable and quite fast.
For more information on the latest builds, check out this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=569715
Best Regards.
all right, Topix seems to be ok for me so far, so next one may be the one you recomended. thanx, man :]

For Changing your rom it seems u are a complete noob.. so for ur info.. you can only flash roms for buzz on ur buzz u should not flash roms from other devices till u become an expert and want to experiment..these are like updates or firmware upgrades...Custom roms which are not yet here..are roms to satisfy various personal tastes in a device..

Hi,
I really need an Arabic support to my milestone 2 device. I've searched the net for a solution with no result, it might be due to the fact that milestone 2 hasn't been officially released in the middle east!!
I'm quite sure it's possible because milestone 1, Defy and Atrix users have had a solution for this issue, then why not me?
Please guys any help would be appreciated, I'm fed up with this!
I'm running the latest firmware 2.2.2
Thanks in advance!.

We would have all languages if we would have a Cyanogenmod ROM but we haven't at this moment. You can eventually install More Locale app from market, and add your locale. After that you will get your language in all apps that support it.

Just install the "More Locale" app from the Android Market, and add your (Arabic) locale in this app. After that all installed apps will recognize your system locale as the Arabic and automatically will be translated to this language if support it. Just try and see results.
agent008my, mkmck or anyone can help, if you could guide me through this?
I've found this generic Arabic files for android 2.2 & 2.3
but I don't know if I can apply them to milestone 2 and how? because I'm no expert in milestone 2 firmware, especially that Arabic is shown in my device but the problem is that it's not connected letters, so there is a little hope here

the steps to the link there is pretty straight forward. you have to make sure your phone is rooted though. to root your phone, check through the android development section of this MS2 forum and you should be able to root your phone then. read carefully, and then read again before you attempt a root. once rooted, download root explorer or something similar and you should be able to follow the steps in that blog pretty easily
edit: you should be able to search through all the extension files stated (right from checking if your ROM is deodexed to modding the system/framework extensions) in that blog after you have rooted your phone via root explorer or similar
always always perform a nandroid backup before you start rooting your phone or installing the patch. you can learn more about nandroid backups and similar android terminology and rooting through these threads:

I installed Root explorer and before rooting I've explored the Framework. I found a framework with odex extension which make it not suitable for the method the guy mentioned.
So my question here, is deodexing the rom a possible thing for a basic user (I've read it's a complicated method), or do you advice me not to do it? -to be able to apply the files-
Thanks very much!.

to be very honest with you, here is my understanding on deodexing:
Apk files have respective odexes that devs use to supposedly save space. Deodexing means you convert it back to a .dex file and put it back inside the apk. This allows you to easily replace files (not having to worry about odexes), but the main point was to deodex services.jar so that you can change all text to different colors (such as the clock color to white) and to deodex services.jar, you need to deodex everything.
to be honest i know nothing about deodexing or how difficult it is to carry out. however, i did take the liberty of searching some up for you, and there is a tutorial on this forum about deodexing. its very complete and it should be able to help you.
