hey everyone,
I have rooted HTC Legend, I use Arabic, the current rooted original ROM for the legend does not contain Arabic.
I already have the Factory version of 2.1 that has Arabic support built in it!
I just want to use the HTC original OS with Arabic support WHILE my phone is rooted to grant su access and all the rooting profits.
Any idea how can I root the Arabic supported ROM?
Any helpings would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Peace!

learn to read and search please. go to the thread called wildpuzzle.
Thank sir, I just gone through those steps and feel complicated for me.
Not so confidence how to do it.
However, thank for quick reply and support since the breakdown question.
Cheers!
If you need a step by step guide as to how to install WildPuzzle (Or any Custom ROM for that matter), you can refer this very detailed guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=824396
If, after reading that, you still cant do it, I guess you are better off sticking to the stock ROM and HTC Supplied updates.
Good Luck.

Thanks for the tips, I'll do more googling before I start to do so. Too early to say better off my friend, cos just start up, will learn and will try to do.
Cheers,
I just read your first post, and, if you have updated to official 2.2.1, there's nothing you can do anymore, because, you can't root your phone anymore till Unrevoked is updated.
Hard Luck
Oh...anyways, thanks for your information. I stick around the forum, to see what more can I do.
You all got my respect!
Cheers,

It is Android 2.2.1D Based on official: 2.34.75.1. Is it safe to upgrade from 2.1, 1.25.720.1?

Can you define 'safe'? If it means keeping your ability to root, then, if you download 2.34.75.1 from danne_jo's thread, then yes, it is safe.
I also tried installing languages through more locale..what do you think about that?
Please guide me, im a complete newbie and i dont need new rom, just the languages. Is more locale dependable?

From what I have been reading around these forums, yes, morelocale2 is reliable, and, has been recommended to many. (Havent used it personally)

List of all roms
Hey man.
I found a good section of ROM's on theunlockr .... You can do a search on google of this.
They're basically all ROMs added from XDA site, but there are links already placed under each ROM so it's easier to find 'em.
Hope this helps buddy
