need to reset my phone

i forgot my password after upgrade my wm5 to wm6. i tried to to use spl to flash my phone but my pc cant open my device because my device is locked so the activsync cant do anything.
someone can help me plz!!!!!!!!!!!
*edit* i try to hold the camera and com man buttons adn the same time and press reset button. but it doesnt change

Does restarting it normally work?
Can you enter bootloader?
If you can, you need to enter bootloader and then reflash your ROM.

i cant even enter the bootloader because my pc tells me that my device is locked and i have to open the password of my device first.

i have the same problem...is there any solutions?

HTC 3450, HELP! doesn't enter bootloader mode

Hi everyone,
Before opening this thread i have done a lot of search about my problem but i could not find any solution. My pocket pc is HTC Touch 3450, it works fine but i want to unlock its CID. I tried every combination to enter bootloader mode (CAMERA + SOFT RESET, or CAMERA+POWER+SOFTRESET etc.) but when i try, it boots normally. Also there is no SD card in it. As i said everything works fine. I tried to upgrade its ROM but i got CONNECTION error in %0 of progress. I know to upgrade ROM i must enter bootloader but as i said i cannot. Also i can try to upgrade ROM via SD card but again i have to enter bootloader mode, but as i said i cannot.
When i try to enter bootloader mode it boots normally and begins the system and works everything fine. I dont know its history, i mean its my new second hand phone.
Anyone, any idea? Please help me!!!!.

Phone turned off. Hold down camera button, press power button to boot, while still holding camera button until the bootloader appears...
If you can't get your device into bootloader and you have tried all options, which it seems like you did. Consider the fact that you may have a clone, where did you purchase the phone from? This issue has been mentioned before, and that was the answer to why the bootloader wouldn't load.
Easy way to tell is check the battery, it'll say HTG instead of HTC.

You see I thought that mine was a clone due to the trouble getting into bootloader, but I can see no other reason to believe its a clone, Battery says HTC as well.
I have had plenty of experience updating roms on htc devices but this has me stumped.

unfortunately it is a HTG battery, then it is a clone When i try the combinations, (power off then push power buton+camera button) it doesn't enter bootloader mode.Now i knoe that the problem is being a clone.
My next question is, what is the way to enter bootloader in clone HTC (HTC with a HTG battery)?????

It's the same problem for all clones.
Seems there is no way to enter the bootloader mode

Clones enter bootloader by holding the volume slider UP and pressing reset. If you hold the volume slider up and hold the camera button and hit reset you can hard reset it.

urgent problem, unlock hone from LOST phone app

hi guys,
a frind of mine gave me a HTC Tattoo on which he installes "Lost Phone" and the app locked his phone that i cant get rid of it (he didnt enter any password when he installed it, atleast thats what he told me)
I have a Galaxy and i dont know how to factory reset the tattoo, or flash a ROM
can someone explain to me how can i fix it fast?
i cant activate USB debuging and cand enter recovery( or dont know how)

If you have the stock rom 1.6
With the phone off, press and hold menu. Now press start until you leave "TATTOO", and turn loose WITHOUT drop menu.
Try whether you can uninstall the application.
or
Press and hold key "HOME" key + "BACK" and "POWER" button until you exit bootloader menu or to display that shows a menu that appears and disappears, then release only "POWER"
and give "clear storage"
but lose all.

lockscreen password lost - how to reset?

Hi,
my nephew has forgotten his lockscreen password (text). So there is no chance to get in android. The Nexus 7 is locked and USB debugging is NOT enabled.
What can I do to get in android back?
WLAN is on!
When I get to the bootloader to do Recovery Mode - then I get the Android-Man with the message Kein Befehl (no command).

Put in incorrect password
Type in incorrect password about 10 times. Then it will give you an option of using your google account to unlock.

That does not work. After 5 times there us displayed a pop up with the message: you entered the password 5 times wrong. please try again in 30 sec.
But there is no possibilty to enter the google account.

I open the Nexus 7 case. Is there any battery (or somethin like that) to make a hard reset?

Does it says 'Forgot pin' anywhere after 5 wrong messages? You need to tap that link which will take you to login through Google account.
If that doesn't works, then hard reset your nexus 7 to factory settings. It will wipe all apps and data. See this link for hard reset

Here's the trick.
Reboot to fastboot by pressing POWER and VOLUME DOWN together until you get to the first boot screen. Select "Recovery Mode" by using the volume buttons to scroll and confirming with Power. It will reboot into recovery (the smaller Android with the open chest and Red "!") Now - here's the tricky bit - you have to press POWER and UP together ONCE to enable the recovery menu.
Then, you can select Factory Reset and you're good to go.
You don't need to be plugged in to a computer.

I've put a PIN on my phone and I don't want it now. But when I go to lock screen-password, I put my actual PIN and I get this:

In up corner you see privacy protection, on your Firmware will be like Encrypt or smlt. Just press it, and follow the steps! But if f you can't then make factory reset!

That's a known bug in the latest firmwares. Set a pattern and insert it wrongly for 5 times then press "forgot the pattern" button or something like that and after entering the pin code it will ask you to choose the new lock method. Just press the home button and you are done
