The button is gray and not active so I can't turn on. help me please….
While in a call did you try pressing it? It's grey during the call but when I press it the speaker phone activates (with a green underline on the button).

Yea your speeker phone button should be grey. the bluetooth button is black because it is not available because you don't have a bluetooth connected. my speeker phone button is grey and a green line appears under it when i activate it. So I cannot think of any reason your is not grey except that maybe the phone is defective. Take it to your retailer and have it looked at is what I would do.

Did you attempt a search for the answer to this question?? It's come up time and time again.
As you make a call, press and hold the dial button (the green phone button) for a few seconds. A little loudspeaker icon will appear in the start bar and you will then hear the call properly.
Thanks
Anthony
tnx for the quick reply,
yeah, somebody told me that way, but unfortunately i cant.. the call will end or loudspeaker still doesnt appear. keep on repeating the process but i cant.. is there a simple proggie to enable loudspeaker?
Holding the dial button doesn't seem to work for Magneto, nor does holding down the power button to shut off the backlight.
Hi there,
i've just a small question. Is it possible to turn the sound of the red button off?
I mean, when the sound is off or vibration, and you want to go back to the today-screen and press the red button (end a call, don't know the english word  ) there is this terrible "PING".
Is there anything i can do to turn this disturbing sound off??
Thx

I get annoyed of my cheeck touching the screen and pressing buttons. I want it to lock so I don't touch it by accident. Any options like that?

this is what i do, because i don't like the random button pressing either. just hit the power button on the top of the phone after you make the call, so the screen turns off. you'll still be connected to your call.
Or you can just go to the home screen and lock the the device
If I need to press a key during phone call (e.g. do delete a voicemail, I need to press 7), how do I do that? My screen turns off when I talk.
Thanks
press the home button and I believe the keypad is the bottom left button
sorted

When I talk, the screen turns off. Pressing home button does not turn it on. Is there a setting to turn the screen on if the home button is pressed?
during a call just press the power button on top and your hd goes on.

Please switch off your light sensor. I have just fixed the same problem, using HD Tweak utility. I have just posted details in my posting please seach posts by avaion99, you find the solution.
Even though I do not have the HD, I find that useful, since I usually move around when I am on the phone, and I do not want to press anything I do not want to press. Its the same on the iPhone, you press the power to snap it back on. Its just hard to get used to the first couple of days.
When some calls me, and i press power button - phone still calls but silent, witout vibration.
How to disable it, so even wen i press power it still calls as usual or with vibrations, only screen go black?
