want hindi font for jasjar

I want hindi font for jasjar and english to hindi dictonary also.anybody help me

Any font would do!
Download any Devnagari font, paste that font into windows>fonts folder and reset.
It allows you to WRITE in Devnagari script in docs and NOT SEE the Hindi Web Pages.Period.
As said only Skyfire allows it...pic attached...screen captured on my xdaII....www.esakal.com.....a marathi daily.

please post font files from stock eclair jg6.

Location of font files /system/fonts
files names would end in ttf
I updated to jp2 and now I can't read sms in Hindi.
stock eclair had Hindi sms displaying capability

If the phone is not rooted then these files can be extraxted using adb
adb pull /system/fonts/*.ttf
I hope at least somebody has indian stock eclair

Thank you. I got the same from the android bug conversation about Hindi. Somebody was kind enough to upload the ttf and post the procedure to get hindi back on galaxy 3 there. We all should go star that bug so that google provides us indian language support

No you don't copy hindi font in your system/fonts. To read hindi in your phone you should have font changer app. And copy this hindi font on your sdcard/.fronchanger folder and use font changer app to apply this font then you can use google translater.

To just read sms in hindi replace rename droidhindi to droidsansfallback and then copy it in system/fonts. Goes without saying that backup original droidfallback file before replacing it

This help you to read hindi sms. Any problem do you have.please tell.

[Q] How to Add other langugaes support to your rom ex: Arabic

Hello I would like to know how I can add other langugaes support to the roms I install on my device and in my case I would like to add Arabic support to my phone currently I can write Arabic using Arabic keyboards but I can't read Arabic in SMS or Webpages, if someone have a way to do it plz share it

you need to find a ROM that supports arabic language, for this device I havent seen a ROM with arabic support but InDroid V6 has an OTA app that you can download some arabic fonts from and they work pretty nicely, they dont show connetcted words but the font is WAY better than that AWFUL stock font... hope this helps... oh yea, for sms you can download mirsal app from market, that fixes that, and for browser... dolphin browser for persian should do the trick i think

Actually, Right now CM7 alpha6 supports the arabic scripts and so does kyrillos' rom. dont forget to thank them for their hard work

[SOLVED] Arabic T9 Dialer .png

Hello!
I am interested in improving the stock T9 dialer to support Arabic search.
I have done this fully with Hebrew and the only thing I am missing are .png dialer buttons with Arabic letters beneath the English ones.
If anyone can come up with such files I'm sure it would help me and a whole community of Arabic language users.
The reason I'm looking for assistance and not making those .png myself is because my knowledge of Arabic is pretty basic.

Hi firefds, I'm trying to modify AxT9IME.apk (I guess this is the file) to add Hebrew to my SGSII dialer for T9 search in heb, I'm using LR6.1 so I can't use MIUI fix or any other rom's fix..
I was able to change the Contacts.apk letters bar to hebrew using APK manager and now i want to do the same for the Dialer
I would highly appreciate your help

thats not the dialer, that is the keyboard
the dialer is in contacts.apk in a directory called dialertab

Thanks mate! I've changed the dialer and it's in heb now.. T9 is working as well
Have you encountered the issue when navigating through letters bar in contacts, moving on to the next letter shows the 2 letters together by LTR?
If you go through א. And then ב it will be displayed as בא but tje search query will get you the right results of אב
Any idea how to fix the display?

I am ready to help, I know photoshop and have arabic on my pc installed the only thing is i am not so good with android development.
If you could provide me the png files i would accordingly modify it and send it to you.

Arabic font problem

Hi guys I have problem installeing Arabic font ! when I install rabic font like droidnaskh font some apps like S Health and Viber some of written information in these two apps will be hidden or half will be hidden and I vcant see them unless I chang the font to the other !!
any help please !!!

Why u need to install fonts whats ur phone model g900h or f many roms come with pre installed arabic language
