Hi! I have a problem with lg gt540, it's running 2.1 android version, it's rooted( I think , that I did it correct).
When I try to install apps on it, it said that there's no free space. I tried to install with astro and apps installer, cause in superuser there's no apps in apps list.
But I think that there's a problem, that I don't know how to install apps on sd card.
Can someone help ?

i'm guessing you're running the stock rom then, since 1.14.405.2 is the stock radio. you cannot use app2sd if you're on the stock rom as it is 2.1, to get app2sd, you should root and flash wildpuzzle rom
you need least 4gb card cos navigon dovloads data allmost 2gb(1.8gb), no mater what android release 2.1 or 2.2
I've got 2gb SD card on my wildfire. I installed Navigon yesterday. It's 'tight' but it's possible - especially if you've got a lot of camera files.
But ... it works!
Navigon doesn't support app2sd!
If navigon is like copilot , it will put sone if the app (e.g logos) on the. Internal and when you open it download maps and voices to the sd card

I recommend waiting for android 2.2 to be finished because that doesn't require partitioning to install apps to sd.

data2sd?
i would prefer app2sd, a bit tricky to install, but works great with dalvik-cache in sd.. but dont have user interface (correct me if im wrong)
Link2sd havent tried yet, but it guess works well with 2.1 with user interface and need to move the application manually.
others i dont know how it works
I cant seem to install the android market on my gt 540..... last week did i update it from android 2.1 to 2.3.3 swiftdroid 1.8 and i got market running on the phone fine and all but now today when i decided to change from 1.8 to 1.9..... i cant install the market like i used to before.... what i used before was a zip file called gapps_gb_20110120.zip that seemed to work before..... but know it doesn't seem to work for me.... and i did delete some folders from my sd card..... might it be because of that?
connect your phone with internet and it should be downloaded automatically
i have my wifi on and all that but.... it doesn't seem that it downloads or anything like that.....

I have just started my brand new x8, so nothing is changed with it, I try and download an app from the internet and when I go to install it I get 'There is a problem parsing the package', I have tried many different app installers, but still no luck.
Thanks very much for all replies
some apps need to run on a newer version of amdroid, for example app2sd (wich transfers your installed apps to your micro sd card) requires android 2.2 or higher to run, but the stock Sony Ericsson firmware is android 2.1 so until you install a new ROM e.g. Froyobread (Android 2.2) or GingerDX (Android 2.3) you wont be able to run certain apps
