Screen wont turn off

Ive been running various version of andriod ever since the first release on the HD2. I just updated my version and all is super however my screen will not truly turn off, just a black screen..
This is my set up..
Android Build: mdeejay Froyo Sense v2.3 Clean
ROM: OzDROID ROM Radio: 2.15.50.14
Kernel hastarin r8.5
Help would be hugely appreciated as its really bugging me.
same for me. With hastarin 8.4 Kernel its not possible to turn off the display automatically.
For example when i use the nightclock in gentle alarm my display should turn off the backlight after a few seconds. With the old 8.2 Kernel this was no problem but in 8.4 the display never turn off complete it still glow a bit.

MDJ Froyo HD 4.6 screen reaction lag

I have a lag after i press buttons, sliders, or anything else on the screen - 1/2 seconds. Not all the time, but mostly it works like being overloaded.
No lags in WP7 or previous android build i used.
Advice anyone?
If you didn't have this issue in other builds, which means it's MDJ HD 4.6 specific issue, why won't you ask in that's build thread? (of course reading/searching it before posting)

[Q] G Sensor not working properly

Hi,
I recently flashed my HTC HD2 with the nand Android 2.2 (HSPL is 2.08.000)
I'm experiencing problems with the G sensor. Sometimes the screen won't flipp within the Browser market place mail client ect. The only app where everythng works fine is Teeter.
Do I have to instell a bug fix? Or is it a known problem with no fix available?
Thanks
Cuerly
It's hard to say without knowing which build you flashed. depending upon which kernel you are using, you might be able to calibrate the sensor.
I suggest that you ask this question in the relevant development thread... once you have 9 more posts under your belt.

[Q] troubles with rotation sensor

Hi Guys, my first post! I'm having a troubles with my Blade. The rotating sensor axys isn't working, to be honest it never been working, even with the stock rom. I'm now running Cyano Gingerbread 7 and the situation looks always the same. Tried to switch the button on the menu off/on many times and tried also to move fast the phone in my hands... There is a way to check it? Somebody haves the service manual of the Blade, or help me in some way.
Thanks in Advance.

[Q] My second experience with CM 10.2

Last weekend for the second time flashed Quarx's CM 10.2 Nightly from CM 10-2ndboot. Here's my report:
1) Experienced the "unfortunately android keyboard has stopped" problem after updating. Didn't know how to solve it, so I had to flash SBF and still had this issue. After numerous times of reflashing finally got this problem gone. So I guess it's my flashing problem (?).
2) 720P Recording isn't working, although this is th default present for the camera app.
3) I wonder if anyone else noticed it: texts in the SMS app is thincker yet blur tha the previous roms (CM10 or earlier). Actually it's hard to read.
4) Also, the touch buttons' lightness is no longer auto-adjusted - either 100% light or off. Don't know if this is a univeral Jelly Bean issue or only occurs for Defy.
5) Last but not least: how can I disable the animation effects while switching the home screens?
Except from the above, all other functions worked fine. But in the end I flashed back to my previous choice - the stable CM10-2nd boot builds due to all those small but iritating issues.
Maybe they will all be solved in KitKat?

1. Usually this is a wrong gapps issue.
2. 720p rec might not be working due to green lens Defy.
3. No, it looks the same.
4. Yes, i've noticed this too, but it's not a major issue.
5. I think there is an option in Trebuchet settings/use a different launcher.

1) You need to install the correct gapps from TJKV (unfortunately i can't post links)
2) It's working for me (Defy+).
3) It's perfect in my Defy+, not blurry.
4) It's true, nothing to say.
5) Go to Settings>Developers option>Drawing and turn Animation off in this itens: Window animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration sacel.
