Samsung screen keeps flashing on and off - Galaxy S I9000 General

Hey guys, my friends galaxy stopped working all of the sudden, so I tried using odin 3 to reflash the firmware since doing a software reset wasn't doing anything. I've tried using a couple of version and I keep getting the same result. Once Odin says it passed, the Samsung Galaxy S screen keeps flashing on and off every few seconds.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I've tried searching the forum with nothing that has helped so far

ive got this problem too. anyone that can help?

FAILED to flash rom, stuck in bootloop I9500, please help.

Hey guys. I tried to find similar topic but I couldn't.
I'm facing a problem with my Galaxy S4 i9500. Around a mouth ago I flushed kitkat with odin. After that I rooted it. The phone was working properly until couple of days ago. It start freezing and restarting. 2 days ago couldn't start at all. Stuck on SAMSUNG logo. I tried to flash kitkat again , but it failed. I was able to flash CWM recovery 6.0.3.3-i9500 and clean the cache, delvik cache and tried to restore the manufacturer settings. After rebooting, I see Samsung logo. phone restart and stuck on the Samsung logo again.
Hopefully someone can help me out.
Thank you.
Doesn't sound like a software problem. I think you have some hardware failure. I don't think it's your power button though, otherwise you wouldn't be able to stay in download mode for more then a few sec.
That doesn't sound good. What hardware problem might be? The phone has never been dropped and always been in a case.

Did you remove all knox related apps when you rooted?
I recommend..flash stock rom.
After that..flash philz and deknox script..
Then reroot via philz itself..(philz options reroot)

Howdy, att s5 active was acting up so i downloaded the stock ne4 firmware from sammobile and flashed it via odin. Now the phone is stuck at the s5 splash screen and refuses to boot. I have tried booting into recovery and wiping cache and performing a factory reset to no avail. I have also tried using the firmware upgrade feature in kies but this did not work either. I am at a loss if anyone could point me in the right direction to help me get this thing working again i would be very appreciative.
The phone is completely stock , never rooted or messed with recovery or anything like that.

For anyone experiencing issues similar to what I was i believe i have found a solution : eventually i was able to get 4.4.2 to boot fully up - but then began to experience random resets. What I did was go into developer options and switch from dalvik to art. After all of the apps were done optimizing the s5 active now works perfectly, without issue. Hopefully this information helps someone else get theirs working properly.
hello
What firmware you flas first time? ???4.4.2???

SM-G900A Freezes then restart or crash repeatedly

Hello, my galaxy started to freeze and crash 2 months ago. At first i didn't mind it because it just happens once in a while. But 3 weeks ago, the freeze and crash became more frequent up to a point that even though i'm not doing anything to the phone, it just freeze then restarts. I researched the web and found some solutions, first i've tried to reset to factory settings. i used the wipe data/factory reset in recovery mode. it said the reset is successful then i've restarted the phone and i just loops on the samsung black screen or just crashes during the welcome screen. Then i tried to reinstall the firmware using odin. first i used the 4.4.4 tar (from this forum), the odin said the flash is okay, but when the phone starts up, it just loops on the samsung black screen or just crashes during the welcome screen. so i tried using the downgrade to 4.4.2 tar (from this forum), after successfully flashing it, my phone started to boot. but after i completed the first time process and i'm updating/downloading apps, it started to freeze and crash again, this became a frequent thing again. it just freeze and crashes anytime. i've tried reflashing the 4.4.2 again using a different cord and port, but the same thing still happens. Do you guys know if there is still some way to solve this?
Note: I've got this phone from my father when i visited him in the USA (last June 2015), then when i went home (in the Philippines), i didn't unlock the phone so i it didn't have any sim card since then. is this a factor in the phone's behavior?
Thank you
Up.. hopes someone can help me with this
Update: I've tried using another battery and the situation is still the same.

[Q] Note 4 N910F Bootloop

Hi folks,
I have a problem with my note4. I can't make it boot to OS, I tried flashing android 6.0.1, 5.1.1 and 5.0.1 with odin but none of them seems to be working. Flashing goes without a problem, however phone just keeps on rebooting after it displays: Samsung GALAXY Note4. I am able to access both recovery mode and download mode(I also tried wiping data and cache, but no luck). I wonder if anyone of you had similar problem and if you know is this a software or harware issue? Thanks in advance!
I can think of two different issues (both of which have been thoroughly discussed before, removing the need to start a new thread had you used the search function).
First: If connecting a charger stops the reboots, it's your battery. Easy fix as all you need is a new battery. Second, if it keeps rebooting when plugging in, your eMMC is probably failing. This is a hardware issue and can't be fixed at home.
But - before we jump into conclusions, can you provide a bit more details? The exact details of the roms you're trying to flash, how old your phone is, are the roms made for your exact model etc. Let's get to the bottom of this.

bootlooping even after stock fw

hey, i was hoping that somebody could help me determine the problem with my s7 edge.
today i turned on magiskhide for an app and restarted my phone, after that it restarted itself like 5 times then boot properly for 30 seconds or so. i tried flashing updated TGP with BL and CP but it didn't help. then i tried flashing stock rom with odin which also didnt help at all. and lastly i tried an aosp rom but the problem remains unsolved.
the phone restarts itself, then stays booted for a while, then it gets stuck alongside with a black glitch on the display. can someone help me determine the cause of this? thank you a lot for your help in advance.
