So any iPhone owners ditching Apple and coming to sexy Nexy Just curious to see what you think of the new Nexus-S compared to your old iPhone, specifically if any iPhone 4 users picked up a N-S, or have both ? What are your opinions ?
I bought the Nexus-S this morning, and loving it, the Super AMOLED screen is drool worthy, and it feels very snappy and fast. My Brother and Sister both have the iPhone 4, it is a cool little phone, even better, if jailbreaked and a custom theme and custom icons installed But my siblings not daring enough to attempt that, so in stock form I find the iPhone 4 super lame, with just rows of app icons and small 3.5" screen.
I think this Summer will be the biggest battle yet between the iPhone 5 and Android 3.0 Honeycomb phones. Should be pretty interesting to see what they both bring.
Well, I've been on T-Mobile since February. Got the Nexus One, Vibrant for like a week, then and unlocked iPhone 4 in July. Just got my Nexus S today, and I love it. The two OS's have their advantages and disadvantages. Customization is way better on Android, there's just more choice. The iOS is the most refined user experience, and is more consumer friendly. The two are about even when you average everything out, but Android has more choice in terms of hardware, software, carrier, so I believe it has the current advantage which has contributed to it's rapid growth.
Why do people have to always ask the iPhone user, the average iPhone user doesnt know jack about what a good phone is

Yea, I keep pretty cutting edge with phones... so when i go into my rogers store, apple store asking for accessories, phones etc.... most of the time they as what is that? lol....
no one even knew I could just cut my sim into a micro sim and walk out.... or if I ask for samsung focus accessories, or my favorite, when he tried to tell me not to get the galaxy tab because it cannot make voice calls.... and to buy an ipad....
either way, I enjoyed my iphone 4. It has a great ui, screen, speed, apps.. overall, a great phone.... however, after 3g, 3gs, 4... it gets a little boring..... my nexus one I thought was a great change of pace, then the 4, then the desire hd, samsung focus and nexus s....
it is smooth, fast and beautifully designed... I wish they stuck with htc... but that is another discussion... It is my first night playing with it though, my only downside is NO 3g on my carrier....

HTC doesn't make Super AMOLED screens, and all their phones look the same after a while. There are like 25 HTC HD2's now, the Desire/Nexus and those tiny 3" screen offsprings. They have no imagination, and throw their hideous Sense on all their crap.
The Nexus S on the other hand, I think the S is for Sexy. This phone is futuristic and slick, with its slight bend, screen looks infused into the phone, like they're one. Bottom headphone jack, bottom charging port, perfect spots. This phone looks like its a few years a head of the rest in design at least. I've gotten nothing but amazed/mesmerized reactions.

I agree on all your NS opinions, but IMO sense is easily the best OEM skin and I absolutely love HTC's hardware design ideas. My Evo is as gorgeous as a phone gets IMO. Better size screen than the NS; anyone that thinks its too big needs a fatter wallet or bigger undies, cause my Evo is definitely not the biggest thing in my pants Vanilla android, yes please. But personally, my experience with a grip of android phones tells me that HTC is far and away the best hardware quality OEM. If only they pushed the limit, ala Hummingbird 6 mo ago. Cant wait for the Scorpion, too bad my Verizon experiences have sucked like no other. Fortunately with this phone we get Samsungs amazing hardware with Google support. We all picked up the best single core phone, easy.
BBM store I picked up my Nexus at had 2-3 employees that I made good friends with just chatting about android and it's success and beautiful phones like the Nexus S (hey that rhymes lol) anyways, they knew I knew what I was talking about (more than they did) and, well, after all I had talked about I had them ALL considering very hard on switching to the Nexus S. 1 with an Iphone 4, 1 with a windows phone 7, and 1 with a blackberry. I got converts from all other competing platforms in 1 shot
Nice! All the BBM employees I interacted with had a iPhone4, and all of them knew nothing about Android. The sales douche even mentioned how awesome it was that the NS was running froyo. O wait.....

I would have to disagree and say the iPhone 4 is the best phone on the market. It has the best screen, best camera, best hd video, best app store, best music store, best video chat, best 3rd party accessories, and it's the thinnest. I would buy one if it were on T-Mobile (my mom has me on her family plan, can't beat free). So, instead I have an iPod 4G and a G2 (which ain't no slouch either).

Good point, iPhone4 is a fantastic phone. I use my brotherinlaws as much as he'll let me. But I like the NS's screen more than the iPhones IPS display. Apps honestly dont compare, but most Android fans (that arent living in Googles rectum) would concede that point unless theyre unfamilier with iOS. Qik works great so far for me. Talk to my sis in SLC all the time over it. iPhone is awesome, but the NS is more satisfying to my "must overclock/hack the crap out of" needs.

Is it worth the $600.00 for the Nexusone?
Thoughts Please.
Chuck
Definitely worth it if you have the cash the burn. I came into that situation when I came into the possession of a few StarCraft II beta keys, and technically only paid taxes on the phone.
My other reason is that I wanted to move to T-Mobile, the area I live has good coverage and I was paying way too much money as it were on AT&T. The Even More Plus plans make it an amazing phone to use on it. On AT&T they stick you with whatever $30 data plan. YMMV on that, because for the past half year I was on a Rogers HTC Magic on AT&T and was using their dumbphone unlimited plan for half that. But once I placed my SIM in the N1, the system kicked me up to the 30 dollar plan automatically.
As for the device itself, it's well built, feels very solid. Everything is just snappy when compared to the Magic, even portrait and landscape switching. When I got it earlier this week I was showing it around the office and probably made a few converts out of some iPhone people.
Well it depends. Have you used a smartphone or iphone before. Is this your first foray into touchscreens? Lots of questions, but heres my impression.
1) Phone is solid! sleek, and very thin for a smartphone.
2) Its feature packed with apps (only downside is no support for sd card apps install with the stock rom)
3) Google maps with navigation is killer!! especially with the free price tag.
4) People are experiencing low signal strenght when holding the bottom of the phone. I did notice that with the tmobile version, but i have the att version now and im guessing att service where i live is just that much better than tmo.
5) Screen is gorgeous. Resolution and the AMOLED technology is amazing.
6) Coming from iphone 3gs, the touchscreen isnt as good as the iphone, but the more i use the phone the less i notice the difference.
7) Call quality is about equal to the iphone.
8) Bottom menu buttons (back, menu, home and search) arent always spot on. I read somewhere here that you have to touch just above the icon and before the screen and its been responsive with that. hoping google will get that fix to actually be able to touch the icon and it should work.
9) Battery life for me has been good so far. Heavy text, light email and varying web use and it Lasts me all day and i usually charge my phone when i go to bed no matter what anyway.
10) And you have 14 days to test drive the phone. Only thing is that you pay $45 for restocking fee. W
So people can talk about this phone, but ultimately its going to end up with your decision. So either find someone with a nexus one to see in person, or buy it and return within 14 days if you dont like it and just get charged $45 after you get your refund.
Hope this helps

Yes it is worth it especially when we get flash 10.1
Great phone. You'll hear about a few perceived issues, but overall it's a great phone. I like it much better than the iphone 3GS it replaced.
it worths ,
1) it is fast, or even faster than iphone 3gs
2) you can use different widges instead of plain and simple icons in iphone.
3) although the apps is not that much than iphone , the apps is still enough for general use
4) easy to use , dont need itunes support, unmounted the sd cards anytime without any problems
5)
but i still missed the magnifier when choosing words in iphone and i feel disappointed about the youtube apps in nexus one, because i cant change the default location and this is useless to other countries beside US.
My life now revolves around my nexus one. That's how good it is.

I think it will vary from person to person. I had a Blackberry curve... then the HTC TP2. I don't think I've ever truly experienced what a smartphone should be like until I got my N1. I absolutely think it was it was worth it.
Totaly worth it. I LOVE my new nexus one.
The iPhone pales in comparison.
Apple really sucks. The only reason the iPhone is popular is because it came out first. If android came out first, apple would hardly have any customers--just like MAC's vs PC's today
I love my Nexus One. It was my introduction to android and boy, was it a good one. I sold my iPhone 3gs for it and never looked backed. One thing has been nagging at me all the while though.
While I love my N1 and agree it is a power house of a phone, the multitouch issues just drive me nuts.
I love gaming on a phone, and while android isn't known for its amazing games like iDevices (c'mon, we all know this) all I can really get out of it is emulation. With the N1's bad multitouch problems, its hard as heck to play anything decent. So I decided I'm jumping the N1 ship and switching to the epic.
So, post in this thread if you, like me, are deciding to switch to another android device, and what's your reason.

So long as your still an Android lol
The Epic looks nice, but im not a Sprint guy
See you at the next Dev Phone
Aside from the better multitouch, I'm sure you'll also appreciate the better GPU. Congrats on the good choice of upgrades.
For me? Personally? Multi-touch is a TAD bit sketch sometimes But honestly? I have an Xbox 360 for my gaming needs.. iPhone games are nice and cool and good looking (especially on iPhone 4) but it's a terrible OS. and I dislike sprint.
I just got a Nexus One today again, after not having one for a month and i am so happy. I'd rather have the phone do things like tether and torrent and BE PRODUCTIVE rather thank play games on it. And sure, every now and again i do play games so i have emulators and knock-off tetris'. IMO

Great choice, I have a vibrant and a n1, and im gonna say I wont pick my n1 up again till it gets gingerbread, and even then.
The sgs is awesome for gaming. The gpu is Amazimg. Its so nice to have proper Multitouch, if the n1s MT was better it would have been so much nicer.
Congratulations and you will love it as much as I love my vibrant I'm sure .

How much are you selling your N1 for?
I'm buying a G2 on preorder (if that ever happens). If not, getting it the first day.
I never really liked keyboards on a phone, that's why I took back my MT3GSlide and ordered a nexus. IMO it just makes the product bulkier. But the G2 is almost like a nexus with a hidden keyboard...And a brand new processor.
But that's still just a dream, until they "reveal" it. I'm starting to think leaking is a new advertising technique lol.
And I'll still keep the N1 for ****s and giggles, it is a dev phone after all

Just sold a few hours ago. It was priced at $380. It has a scratch on the back cover and a scuff on the bottom antennae cover as well as wear on the right side of the casing. It was for t-mobile with boot loader unlocked, so I say that is more than a fair price.

Definitely a fair price given the condition. Good luck with the Epic man... I was tempted to switch to Spring, but I just can't stomach the thought of not being able to easily switch phones around.
Why not the vibrant? If your a gamer I guess its the right phone for you. However you will miss your n1. I bought a captivate used it for a 1 1/2 month and returned it. I am not a gamer. I thought about it, but I really miss keyboards for emulation. The cliq was horrible! The bulk never bothers me as I never pocket a phone anyway. I already miss my N1, but that's because I don't have an android replacement yet ! XD.
Another reason is the Dev community. While the N1 community trumps nearly any other with great guys such as in this thread, I feel that with the galaxy S line will do what the N1 was supposed to do, but never got the chance, and that's going to all major US carriers. So my hopes are that this will bring out a great community hopefully like that of the N1.
Also my iPad is up on eBay so I can buy an android tab....
When I saw a picture of the Nexus S, I thought, what a ugly phone. Then, I saw that it's made by Samsung, nothing against Samsung but to me their phones are cheap The phone doesn't deserve the Nexus name. IMO HTC makes the best phones. I have three friends that have Galaxy S's, and their always asking me for my N1, to use my navigation, and make phone calls, because they're always losing their signal, and their GPS is screwy, plus they have ****ty battery life, so they live on their chargers. I keep telling them to root, but they want me to do it for them, I stopped rooting peoples phones who refuse to educate themselves about rooting, because they're always calling you with problems, because they don't understand. Another thing, I was thinking about buying the Evo, but my friend has it and the resolution is crap, the colors are dull, almost to the point of transparency, I think HTC focused too much on having the biggest screen, so I won't be buying that crap, I thought that all the high-end android devices after the N1 would blow us out, but have done nothing except confirm that I made the right choice with my Sexy Nexy, so we'll be together a little while longer. I thought the N2 would go in the direction of the Desire look, that's a classy phone, that has a professional look for older gents like myself, I'm very disappointed that Google gave Samsung the contract.

hmm yeah that will be it. so samsungs crappy build is no longer a concern.
the "ill never buy a samdung" brigade have scuttled back under there rocks.
Is it possible its something as simple as google wanting to continue use of a amoled screen capable phone for dev. phone purposes? I mean thats one of the main interest points ive noticed when anyone sees my N1. Everyone says "wow the screen is so crisp". Seeing how samsung took amoled away from everyone else just kind of makes sense on googles part if that be the case.
Nothing against HTC, they make great phones but i just wonder if use of amoled is more paramount than most give credit for. Look at it this way, all phone makers can more or less make the same kind of phones hardware wise. Only difference being is samsungs ability to use amoled. Just a thought , nothing more.
i read on here that HTC said the N1 would be thier first and last phone designed for a non carrier and that is why google had to go else where. I'd have prefered motorola, but samsung is an ok 2nd choice. HTC would obviously have been my first but they are out of the question. All i really care about is vanilla android with updates from google, a nice sized screen, good hardware, and a nice design.
the nexus S has all of the above minus the nice design...but it has helped me realize that the design weights a lot more in my purchasing decision than I had previously thought. I dont see myself buying a nexus s if it looks like the leaks orion processor or not
you had to go!!!! After having this phone for 2 weeks, it just didn't quite cut it even though on paper it was remarkable. It had a dual core processor, higher resolution, webtop capabilities on and on...
In the end I guess my old eyes couldn't handle the smaller icons due to higher resolution, I had issues with my MP3 player playing only 3/4 of song then stopping and then i wasn't liking the dual core heating up like a toaster oven. THe icons were dull colors too....Motorola likes these dull browns for icons where as HTC likes to use color and make it vivid.
I also like to play around with my phone too much so LOCKED BOOTLOADER was not cool. Did you hear me Motorola, LOCKED BOOTLOADER for a lot of people dont like that.....
So in the end I got the Inspire 4G with Sense. You really cant go wrong with HTC, although I understand the postive and negatives to each phone, mine just happen to fit more in line with HTC.
So for you hopefuls that Motorola will unlock it, wish you the best of luck or that they will do many updates, wish you the best of luck!!!
Not trying to start a huge debate, but if you are on the fence about these two phones, just spend 10 mins. with the Inspire and most people will probably like it over the Motorola.
its funny i had the inspire for 2 weeks....got rid of it a few days ago
got the Atrix...and THANK GOD I DID
4.3 inches at the **** resolution its at was a disaster, hurt my hands. Too heavy
not very fast, barely played videos (htc codecs suck)
Like you said, it comes down to opinion
but switching from inspire 4g to atrix was the best thing I ever did
PS: The battery on that thing gave me EPIC NIGHTMARES.
Can someone just make a "im returning _______" thread/topic/section?

You actually can go wrong with HTC, its when they put a 1200 mah battery in a 1.8 ghz capable phone then you get to watch your battery lose a percent every 4 minutes of use. I had one it was totally BS battery life and was totally unacceptable. Then people say "just don't OC it" so then you have a 4.3 inch captivate with less ui lag, no usable internal memory storage, and GPS that works.

Did u try launcher pro plus first motoblur is **** ill give you that but the phone is fast good battery life screen is nice... I'm loving it
i can't wait until i leave my epic 4g from sprint and come to the atrix community
i am tired of htc, samsung and sprints games so it times to give motorola and att a chance

HTC phones are so GENERIC. Its insulting you would even compare such a tired, re-hash of a device to the ATRIX.

I love HTC phones. But they have to be Android. I have the evo 4G and I couldn't be happier. It's fast, vibrant, has all the bells and whistles. I literally have a mini computer at the palm of my hands.
I've had it for about 3 weeks now and yeah the battery goes quick but thats because I can't put it down! I had the Hero before switching to evo and I love everything about this phone.
I didn't understand why it was called the supersonic until I used it. Is rather have my HTC evo over any other phone on the market. Puts the iPhone to shame with its 8.0mp camera, and its secondary front-mounted camera makes video chatting a synch, the kickstand is awesome for watching YouTube or movies and also playing games. Oh and I almost forgot it has an HDMI out. Used it and the picture on my tv is remarkable.
Keep up the good work HTC and Google....I love you
Oh and one other thing it has a 4G mobile hotspot that can provide WiFi for up to 8 devices at once. If thats not remarkable I don't know what is

i like the Evo and a lot of people i kno and see around campus have either the evo or iphone 4, very few galaxy S phone, but honestly i think the Atrix is better then all of them, even the Galaxy S II won't compare judging from the specs that were given(but i can't prove it until the phone comes out so it's just an opinion)
I've never been a fan of Motorola. I have had very bad experiences with mot. Phones. I have had nothing but good experiences with HTC w/google. I also used to have the blackberry curve 8310 and thought it was the best thing since buttered toast. But that quickly changed when I switched to sprint.
Sprint has better service than ATT & Verizon combined IMO. But thats just how I feel. They have given me good prices and great devices with no hassle and I'm not the type to ruin a good thing. Bottom line is "to each his own" but I will recommend HTC with Android until either HTC starts slacking or Google bites the dust (which they wont).
I'm sure you all have valid points about your phone's but I'm pro HTC and definitly pro Google.

Had Inspire and Atrix. Kept Atrix. The end.

I've had many htc phones and have always had a good experience. I had a hard time waiting for the atrix when I saw the inspire for $100. At that price point it is a steal for the features you get. In the end i'm glad I waited though. The Atrix is rediculously good!!! Super fast and great battery life (I get about 16 hours a charge... 16!!!) It is hands down the best phone i've ever used. Head shoulders and more above the rest, a GIANT among a sea of average phones.

I was impressed by the Inspire back when it came out on Sprint as the Evo... what, eight months ago? I made the mistake of buying old hardware that just came out once, the Hero. Never again.
Coming from the Captivate, the only things I miss are how vibrant the games looked on SAMOLED and flashing the new hot stuff roms.
Do not miss accidently bricking the thing and having to use a USB jig to fix it though...
I am from a another continent; a faraway country - Singapore to be exact. Smartphones is one of my hobbies. I have had several HTC phones - Windows Mobile, and now the Desire on Android which is about 9 months old, and high time for a replacement. I have been reading and eyeing the Atrix since Jan 2011 - all excited about it's superior tech specs, and particularly its innovative HDMI/TV docking unit. I have been preparing myself to be an early adopter and to purchase a unit from EBay at a premium price. I have been so impressed with what I read that I even invested in some MMI stocks. But, all these excitement, hype and high expectations of owning a Atrix (will be my first Moto) came to a complete stop last weekend - when I learnt that a famed developer (he did the unroot for the Atrix) abandoned his work because of the locked bootloader! Motorola may have their own reasons to do this, but it is unacceptable to me. So, unless I see a Moto announcement to unlock the bootloader, I am off looking for another dual core smartphone - either the LG 2X or wait for HTC to release one. Obviously I will also sell off my MMI stocks - even if I have to incur a loss, given its recent rapid decline. Sorry folks, if I have been somewhat off-topic. Just wanted to voice my opinion.

It really is perplexing -the decision to lock the bootloader. I mean, are they afraid someone would engineer a program that steals fingerprints...etc?
So yeah.. seems like the iPhone 5 wont be announced until September.. which means SGSII will be safe for another few months.
I'm just joking.. or am i?
Iv just had so many problems with the SGSII... I just dont know what phone to get right now.. since the SII is the best out. I dont want to buy it again.
Iv never owned an apple product before.. but my brother has owned lots..
Wish they announced it so i could compare the two and see which one is the best
---- IF it is the SII then i might have to go back to it >.>... so i hope they do something good with the iphone
Fanboys gtfo thanks.
No phone is perfect but remember when you buy an iphone no flash, no flash, no flash...it's not that it's not possible to run run but apple have decided for you the user experience it just not good enough, you can't even try it for yourself and remove if you don't like it or keep it even if a half baked flash is good enough for you, nope apple have made the choice for you: no flash!
Expect to wait a while longer than september. The iphone 4 plus will be coming first with some minor improvements but no major changes.

And you know it's not only that I dislike the apple mentality of them making the (right) choices for me I also despise apple as a company, I am a free market capitalist at heart and very seldom find companies evil but apple is one such rare company:
the way they abuse patents and trademarks (ie. steal ideas from small companies) and patent/trademark them and then sue the inventing company is truly evil.
I'm sick of my iPhone 4. I've been a hardcore blackberry user for years, and yes, while the experience wasn't as nice, it was A LOT more open than iOS. iOS has some good ideas, unifying a single format / layout, and all its apps follow the same guidelines, which makes it a good phone for people that know NOTHING about phones! A friend of mine DECIDES to pay THAT Much more for an iMac just because "it works right away, I don't need to configure anything" and Apple products are basically that... "It works without having to do anything" I personally jailbroke mine, and I still can't stand it. Apps apps apps apps! No personalization past ordering up the apps, and 2 pictures (lock screen and behind the apps).
I think Android will be safe for a very long time. They run on a different market. Not to mention, Apple sells things WAY over priced. The iPhone 4 16 gigs cost me the same RIGHT NOW as my SGSII (which should be here at ANYYYYY moment! Come on vodafone! It was shipped! GET TO MY DOOR!)
Apple makes good products for a good demographic, but you also need to understand that the majority of the population doesn't want to configure, or decide. The simpler the better. My BEST FRIEND of 15 years now has a blackberry and an iphone, still, she only texts and uses facebook. Hmmm....
Regardless, you shouldn't see it as "the SGSII is in danger or safe" as it's the family of Android phones. You don't see people saying "Oh no! The iPhone 3G is in danger! But there are 2 other models out! BUT POOR 3G!" No, who cares! more choices = better, for us!
Smartphones BEFORE the iPhone were pretty much all resistive screens, tiny ones, big and bulky. The iPhone has helped us out. The more Apple "revolutionizes" (AKA. taking something that has been there for years, making it pretty, and calling it new) the better for us!

Really the first multitouch capacitive touchscreen build in 1972! when apple introduced it, they meant they dug it up from a grave and reanimated it!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-touch
The only thing i dislike about andriod phones are that there are so many with lots of different specs.. I cant just download any app and use it right away. As for iOS there is only one phone each year that uses it.. which makes it more easy to download any app you want and use it right away.
I hate downloading apps just to find out that it crashes, lags or doesnt even start up.
I like andriod OS better then iOS.. but like i said.. there are too many phones using the andriod OS.
As for Macs.. yeah.. i think they are worthless. You pay so much more money for something that is less powerful than a custom built PC.
I built my PC a few months back and i also got a 27" 2560x1440 monitor (to match up with the iMac 27" screen)
It cost like £100 more for my PC but its 100times more powerful than any iMac.
Also.. the reason why the iPhone4 is still the same price is cause apple only lowers it once a new iphone comes out. They know that people will still forke out that much cash for an iphone.. unlike samsung nokia htc etc.. they always lower the price of their phones cause they just bring out so many per year that they have to.
I really don't think iphone5 would've affected SGS2 sales that much. I'm preety sure I5 will be a good phone but not better than SGS2.
I think Samsung s2 better than any iPhone

your right.. its better than any iphone.. out right now... unless you can tell the future
My personal uneducated guess would be that the iPhone 5 will be a speed bumped iPhone 4 shipped along with iOS 5.
Which in the end, still doesn't make it better than the Galaxy S2 right now.
Do you really think people cross-shop iOS and Android? Apple people follow their leaders cult-like and keep re-purchasing Apple products. For people that want easy and consistent, nothing beats an iPhone. But those same two points, especially the second one, is what make people turn away. I for one can't stand the banal conformity of Apple products and can't see myself becoming one of the Borg. To test the theory, go to an iPhone forum and post a question about iOS vs. Android. They'll skin you alive.
If you are okay with a smaller screen, having to manage music, photos, video library via iTunes (having a mac helps ) then even an iPhone 4 is a nice choice.
It has unrivaled battery life, does everything its supposed to do pretty good, has enough apps to keep you busy (if you are a heavy apps user that is) etc.
Me, I couldn't get used to a 3.5 screen after using a captivate for a week, the itunes is horrible on my windows machine, drag and drop ain't bad and the retina hype is not enough to match the super amoled awesomeness....
Its all preference, IMO try your options if you can, and settle for what is good for you. I am here today because flashing my captivate and the screen plus music playback is awesome, and battery life after modded is almost on par with iPhone 4. So all good for me.
What you like may be hated or laughed at by another, and that's life.
i wouldnt be able to live with a 3.5" screen. There have been rumors that the new iphone will have atleast 4" screen.. if not then i wont even think about buying it.
My opinion: I don't think Apple will be releasing a mind-blowing, bar-setting iPhone 5 this year.
Perhaps next year, iPhone 6 will be.

Please don't forget that the iPhone is a device mainly targeted for the women crowd (can't remember where I read that over 70% of iPhone users are women). As such, it can't get bigger than 3.5" screen, since their small hands couldn't handle it.

Hmm...Atrix 4G spots a 4" screen but the phone itself is about the same size as the iphone
i think the OP has made a decision that he should buy IPhone simply because he is fed up with one or two annoying features of SGS2.... is that true my friend ???
just because of 1 or 2 features which u might like it better on iphone, dont make ur decision of buying an iphone 5.... because no matter what, SGS2 can beat the iphone 5 right out of the box... in addition to that, so many customizations r coming including the CM7... which is great... u never feel the same as before...
so be patient & wait for some more time... then u give us ur openion... which inturn will be favouring SGS2 i am sure....
till then enjoy the positive things about ur SGS2....
One of the reasons why I moved from the iPhone 4 to the S2 is because every 2nd person I see has an iPhone 4, it was depressing.
And the inability to change notification sounds meant that whenever I heard the notification tone play, I had to second guess if it was my phone.

Until Apple decide to change the way they make their iPhones, android will still be way up top.
Even when iPhone 6 comes out, the SGS3 will probably be 2x better lol.
Also, the majority of iPhone users who purchase an iPhone don't even know what android can do/is capable of and assume iPhone will always be the best phone out...
I was going to buy an iPhone but the only thing appealing about is iTunes.
