Restore Blockbuster App

Hi Everyone,
I rooted my DX, and before I really knew what I was doing with Titanium Backup I uninstalled Blockbuster rather than freeze it. Now, I know I could just reinstall it from the market, but that won't help me when the update is looking to make sure the stock apps are installed. Besides, I don't want it anyway, I just meant to freeze it rather than uninstall. Is there a way to restore it as a system app?
Thanks,
Mike
Yeah google "droid x system dump" and "how to restore system apps on droid x". I'm not sure what forum I saw them on, maybe here. It's pretty simple with ADB.

use this method for blockbuster as well as the backup assistant, it works for all APKS,
first install it, then put it back in system with the CORRECT PERMISSIONS

Titanium Backup and SQLite

I have paid version of Titanium backup. I have used it before to backup user apps with market links. I know I updated the TB app after I did my last backup, now when I do a backup, user apps are not backed up with market links. TB says SQLite is required to backup maket links and I do not have SQlite. Has something changed with TB coz last time it backed up market links and I never had SQLite!
Ran into this too, tb didnt link any of my backups, no clue why because it did so the other day
Bionix 1.4 beta
Figured it out. The voodoo lag fix is the culprit. Disabled voodoo to change file system from ext4 to rfs and now TB shows I have SQlite. Market links are now backed up.

I've never used voodoo lagfix
Bionix 1.4 beta
Interesting..TB shows SQLite available now consistently after I disabed voodoo. I am running Bionix 1.3. Are you running any lag fix or a different kernel like JACs?
A new update was just release which fixes problems with SQLITE and market links on Samsung devices. Enjoy!
Just downloaded...checking it out
EDIT: Issue resolved

Jt Super clean help

Ok so I installed jts super cleaner from Rom Manager and it deleted a few programs and widgets that I wanted to keep, is there any way for me to get them back? I tried restoring my phone but I get the android.process.acore error every few seconds.
Thanks for the help.
EDIT: It also has deleted all of my contacts.

Sure, re-flash the ROM, and you can start over.
Also, when you say "Restore" your phone, did you mean you restored a Nandroid backup that you made before you flashed the new ROM, or do you mean you reset your phone to factory settings?
If it's the latter, then that's what happened to your contacts.
Sorry, no I ment I did a restore in Rom Manager.

Try running "Fix Permissions" from ROM Manager first. If that doesn't work, I'd try wiping data and starting over.
Make sure you make a Titanium and/or MyBackup Pro backup before you wipe!
You can add apps that were removed via the stock system dump or the deodexed DI01 zip that is in the development forum. Frost added it a while back. I have added:
Allshare.apk
vsuiteapp.apk - voice commands for bluetooth
thinkdroid.apk - office suite on the stock rom
Some apps dont have a .odex file so you can just add them to your /system/apps folder. You don't install them, just move them into the app folder.

Help with self-inflicted keyboard problem......

If anyone can shed some light as to what I need to do, I'd greatly appreciate it.
So I rooted my phone. After doing so, I just wanted to remove some bloatware.......so I downloaded Root Explorer. I did install Clockwork and Titanium backup before doing anything also, fwiw.
Over the past couple of days, I have been disabling some of the stupid factory apps.....and also began using LauncherPro. I like LP much better, except for the fact that it only uses Swype keyboard (which I hate). While I was looking for the last two apps that I never use (so I could disable), I decided to disable Swype.
I at least I hope to give some of a good laugh with my stupidity today. And my problem now is that I can't use my keypad at all......in any app, or anything. I freaked out, and also figured I didn't have too much to lose either....so I decided to try and do a backup. No success. I did a factory reset, no succcess.
Suggestions?
Do you mean you tried a restore?
And you are able to use any keyboard you want with any launcher. Just long press and select input method.
Go back into titainium and unfreeze swype.
Next time just install a custom rom with all the bloat already removed.
Worse case, do a odin restore

I think he deleted the apps through root explorer..like he said brother just do an odin back to stock and if you want to remove bloatware use titanium backup to freeze apps instead of just delete them. Or if you download something like jt1134's super clean rom bloatware will already be gone. And just for the record launcher pro doesn't just use swype..if you long press in the text field and select ' input method ' you can change keyboards..in fact try that lol before you do anything else.
Hope this helps!

Yes, I tried to do a restore. I figured out another method though, and was successful.
And no, I can't change from Swype on LP for some reason....when I long press the only thing that shows is Swype.

I actually didn't delete anything, just renamed the apps I didn't want to .bak.
What I was able to do is download Root Explorer to my desktop, then drag it on the root of the phone. With the Fascinate, there is a folder that says "My Files", in which I can run an app from the root. What I had to do, since I couldn't use the keyboard......is send myself a text over the internet with "Swype.apk" and copy the text, then rename the swype file back from bak to apk by pasting the text into the field. Worked like a champ.
Slick move brother
