Install rom manager from market. Choose HTC "buzz" aka wildfire when asked and flash recovery. Now choose "boot into recovery" in rom manager.

just tryed on HCDR.ROM v1.5 , work , tryed nandroid , and its back up all thing !vill try later to flash !

whats special about this i did see this on the market
just wanted to know what special or better than what we already have
you can for example scroll down and push down agin to get on top agin. so it scrolls around.
you can flash roms in folders. for example you have a folder structure like this:
SDcard/-install-/roms/Puzzlerom/all_files_related_to_puzzlerom
SDcard/-install-/roms/AnotherROM/all_files_related_to_AnotherROM
You can "start" your flash from android, so you can use your touch screen to chose what rom to flash. Start rom manager and select file to flash. rom manager will ask if you want to backup you rom and if you want to wipe. it will reboot in to recovery and do your choise made in android. for example, do backup, wipe, and then reboot phone to system auto.
This is just a little thing it can do.

thanks for the kind explanation ill try its the same thing i see in the market right(it says ROm manager by clockworkMod in the market site) i haven't added any market patch im using Jacobs 1.4 and i can see a rom manger in the market its free its the same thing right
Edit : what i see in the market is not for our phone ie it does not have recovery for our phone it is not listed in recovery images given tattoo or click is not mentioned

This is a guide to start that recovery manualy (works on desire)
Shutdown phone
Press and hold "volume -(down)"
Press power ON still holding "volume -(down)" pressed.
A white boot meny will load. you can now release "volume -". Wait a few sec for it to load fully.
Use Volume up and down to navigare.
Chose "recovery" and press Power button to chose it.
A image with an red triangle will appear.
Press volume up and power on same time.
A new meny till appear
Use Volume up and down to navigare.
Chose "Apply sdcard:update.zip" and press Power button to chose it.
Now you should be in clockwork recovery
Noticed dident work on tattoo, have diffrent hboot.

I believe I must be doing some stupid mistake, but I have done this over and over and still no success :S
I have rooted my HTC Tattoo (Vodafone PT), installed ROM Manager, selected it as a Wildfire and installed recovery.
All is good there.
Now the problem is when I try to install HCDR v.17 using ROM Manager, I always get a verification failed :/
Any help?

WHEN I ALSO TRY RECOVERY FROM THERE I CAN GET TO "ClockMod Recovery" BUT I CANT EVEN ACCES INSTALL ZIP FROM SDCARD, WHEN I TRY THAT ALL I SEE IS A BLACK SCREEN AND A HAT AND A BIG EYE UNDER IT.

Step one, slow down
step two, turn off the caps.
Step three it's obvious that you have s=off if you have clockwork ROM on your phone.
At the top of your phone What recovery image do you have? 3.0.0.5? or a 2.x one?

as long as you do not have any errors on your recovery image about not being able to mount anything....to get your phone working you can do one of two things.
1)You can flash any Gingerbread based ROM either from Cyanogen(mod) or from TeamRoyal. Those all can be found in our Development section from your recovery image.
2) you can flash the PD15IMG and restore you phone back to 100% via the HBoot (engineering) screen, that can be found in our development section as well.

I get notting but a black screen with hat and eye under, everytime i try to choose anything from clockworkmod menu.I have adb installed on my pc and it regonizes my device , is there a way to reset the phone from there? maybe?

when you select something you need to select it with the track pad. If you use the power button you'll get the text will disappear.
the only way you can use ADB to flash stuff is if you have the engineering bootloader. If you just followed TheUnlockr's method then you do not have it.
i use volume buttons and power button to select it
oh ok now i used the mouse button select and i can select but now the phone is keep resrarting every like 10 seconds with a vibrate, nottting happens just restarting over and over. Where should I go next?
( remember fartest i can go is the "colockworkmod")

As he mentioned above, you need to use the trackpad buttons to make selections, NOT the power button.
If you can successfully reboot into recovery, just wipe the phone completely and flash a new ROM...

If you navigate to "advanced" and select it will it give you a new set of options?
if it does try the "mount USB" and plug it into a computer and see if you can surf the SD card via a computer.

i restored from the back up I created before rooting, It took like 2 minutes and I reboot now I have the screen where its says my touch 4g and just stays there. I think my back up file is no good mabe?>, I alsoe noticed when holding vol down and power but the menu comes after it it says on top" glacier pvt ship s-off" does it mean anything?

3.0.0.5 is only compatible with 2.3 ROMS.
use this to flash it

But As I was instructed I have downloaded PD151MG file and put it on my sd card and reboot my phone to the engineering menu and right away it asked me if I want to update to PD151Mg file and I clicked yes I guess this new rom will work for me
As of now it is updating.... I will let you guys know later for the result ( I hope I am not doing something even worst )

There is a flashable 3.0.0.6 image that True_blue Scripted but you have to get into the ROM to do it.

Once you are done with the PD15IMG you will have to reroot your phone. IT will return it to a 100% stock fashion.
after you re-root the phone please flash the 3.0.0.6 to help save any confusion down the road.

The original 3.0.0.6 was made by option94, and you can flash it from your existing recovery or fastboot, so booting into a ROM is not necessary.
i Flash cyanogen need help going back to stock
going in the download mod doesn't seem to work (vol down + power) if i keep them press, it send me into a boot loop and when i let go it boots back to cyanogen

Search for Odin. He has the answers to find stock again.
Take out battery, sim, and SD card. Plug usb cord into pc and phone. Hold down vol up and down. While holding those two down put battery in.

nope, the only other thing you can do is download sgs kernel flasher from the market and flash a 2.2 kernel (bali, overstock, etc). This will throw you into a boot loop so you will have to use the 3 button combo (vol up + vol down + power button) to get into recovery mode and flash a 2.2 rom (make sure you have it on your internal sd card before you flash the kernel)

That's because in you original post, You're only using one volume button. You need to use both the volume UP and volume DOWN buttons. And, when you get to El mode, make sire you flash JFD and *only* jfd

ya dont really need to do all that, just take out battery hold down vol up and vol down and put the battery in, always works for me.
I want to make my vega better but really how no clue! What is nvflash? How to get in recovery mode? I have read the threads but am still struggling.

I have just done it and installed corvu5 rom just got my vega yesterday. I downloaded modded stock rom from modaco.com then after that i went onto myadventvega.com and downloaded the usb drivers and followed the system update tutorial thats on there and when it asks u to select update click modded stock an thays that ull then have recovery to flash any other rom

Plug the device into the mains, plug the usb cable to pc and device. Open hardware manager on your pc. Then hold the back button for 2 secs, then while still holding the back button hold the power button down for 2 secs, then keep holding the back button for a further 2 secs. In the usb section of your hardware manager a nvidia recovery will show up. The screen on the device will remain black. That is nvidia recovery mode.
My Rom Add-on does not work with the modded sock rom.

nandroid backup is part of clockwork mod. It creates a entire back up of your current rom, to restore if a new rom flash goes wrong.

1. Press power button, Choose reboot into recovery or something like that.
2. When the screen turns off half way, press power button to turn off the screen completely. Once screen turns off completely, let the power button go. wait for 1, 2 seconds.
3. Then press power button until you see the screen is changed. Once you see the screen changes, let the button go. You should be in the recovery mode.
Most of the people using vega comes from android phone, so they are pretty familiar with the recovery thingy

I've been searching, but haven't found anything.
TWRP Manager, Goo Manager, ROM Toolbox, Quickboot, and Reboot have all worked for me.

From original android Dev thread.
press and hold Power and Vol- until see the LG logo, after you see the logo release buttons for 1 second then press and hold Power and Vol- again until you see the factory reset screen, just push power to confirm reset, it will prompt you twice, just continue and this will boot you into recovery.

Yes, with latest recovery a button combo was implemented. This just hasnt been updated yet in the TWRP thread. BTW im talking about TWRP 2.6.3.2

If your LG2 does not boot, how do you get to recovery (this is presuming TWRP has already been installed), since you cannot get to those apps?

That's awesome, except on this G2 it's power & volume -, wait, then release volume - and press volume +. Othertimes it's as described here. Other times neither method works. Always takes 15 minutes. Got there once by starting up by pressing volume - and power.. Saw the LG logo then volume + and power.. I have a tripolar g2
