Can videos be downloaded? - Galaxy S I9000 General

Hi i am a bit of a newbie using my galaxy s- but does any1 know if videos can be saved on my galaxy s from mma websites( ie mmacore.com etc) so i can watch them. The videos dont play when i select them from the website i think it is because of flash player. But any1 else having trouble transfering music to their phone? got a 16gb micro sd with 13gb waiting to be used up! ps is there also any apps out there to help with performance? cheers

Flash Videos On SD Card

Is it possible to put flash videos on the SD card and stream em off that rather than youtube? If so, whats the best way? Thanks in advance!
I don't know if the Hero supports flash video... convert it with a free program like iSquint, that's for mac only though.
Hero doesnt support FLV.

My Hero came with HTC Flash. It plays some Adobe Flash content. They were touting it in press releases almost a year ago.
Flv still requires some sort of flash application to play it, you would have to write an application that would generate the html to load the player and point it to the right location. Even then, I am unsure of flash 9 lite's security settings. You are better off converting it to avi/mp4 or comparable.

Video problems.

Anyone experiencing audio sync problems when playing back video. I just purchased my tab and it's driving me crazy. Please let me know if anything has been resolved.

Only syncing issue I've had was due to storing videos on external sd card that was only class 2, fine since storing internally or using a class 4 card.
Never had any problems with any of my videos. And I've tried a lot of different codecs and formats. hope it works out for you, as it's a great videoplayer for on the go use.

It'll take some time, kernel needs some love still.
He's got it. Something with the video decoding....
Now if you go get mv player from the market you can play videos from your SD card pretty smoothly. An app like droidtv will let you watch TV from your SD card. Hope this helps!

You have to download whatever stuff you want to read/watch/listen to. It has maybe one sample of a manual book (can't remember), but that's pretty much it.
Books you have download and movies are streamed from the nextflix app or if you're a prime member from there videos app built into the UI. Music is also streamed and I do believe you have the option to download music from the cloud onto the internal memory.

How can i see my video in Gear VR

I followed the step online.
copied video to Sd card\Movies folder
But i still cannot see it!
Can anyone help me?
TIA
I used \occulus\Movie and that worked
I can't get movies to appear on the SD card either although it works fine using device storage.
There's a thread on the S7 Questions forum suggesting this is because the S7/Edge is using software from the S6 which of course doesn't have external storage. If so hopefully this will be fixed soon.

you mean you can see your own video now ?
I put it in my internal memory /oculus/movies them I could find it in oculus videos
For your own (downloaded) movies to work you need to create the right folder structure. I believe it is:
Oculus\movies\my videos\ (for standard movies)
Oculus\movies\my videos\3d\ (for 3d movies)

Seems Oculus have acknowledged the issue and are working a fix.
