help to change the language from german to english to my XDA

when i try the update with RUU16006WWE_T-mobile_NL.exe
i recived upgread from
Device CE image version : 3.14.16
Device extended image version :
Device Radio image version : 4
when i press upgread
there has been proplem while updating ur pocket pc
when i use
Radio_Unit_Upgrade_v31703.exe
Cannot find the rom image to upgrade your pocket pc please dowload and try again
my phone is O2 and when i try to power it on i get in the right side of the monitor

i finaly used SD card method and i flash my phone and my phone is english now but when i open the phone i get strange message said
align screen
Tep the target firmly and accurately at each location on the screen
the target will continue to move until the screen is aligend
how to repair it ?
i read in forum that i need to cut some trackes in the board and there is way to repair
any one have idea ?

What you see is normal. When the XDA first starts up, you need to calibrate the screen. This is so when you touch a button the XDA knows what button you're touched.
Touch each of the marked locations until it is done (4 or 5 total).
DO NOT cut any board tracks!

i hear that i-mate have software with arabic application can i install it to my xda just to recived the arabic sms and to write arabic sms or i can't setup i-mate software for my xda ?

my wings touchscreen stopped working :(

is there a rom without the touchscreen capabilitys? i read online if you explore the phone goto windows folder nd delete the welcome file it will make the phone boot with no tap here to setup alignment on your phone.. had to do a hard reset and it didnt work... i would liek to use the phone without touchscreen versus it beign a complete brick

oh yeah.. i tryed to delete the welcome file but it says write protected/in use by another program.. and thats why i was asking if by chance someone had a rom without the file

IT SAYS TAP TO BEGIN SETUP....
I CANT use the touchscreen therefore i cant start the alignment which means i cant startup my phone now.. i would do it if i could but i cant.
i need a rom without the welcome file in it.

Hi Chad....had da same prob and I downloaded MSP Remote Alignment and I now use my WING without the touchscreen.

Here are some bootscreens and a splashscreen (for this you must have Unsigned Hard SPL from Olinex or someone other on your device) for your diamond. Download the boot.rar, there is a flash-tool inside for the splash-screen. The welcomehead must be copied in windows.´If you use the welcomehead for the Gold-Theme, please rename it in welcomehead.192.png, before you copy it to windows. After a reboot you see the changes.

hello sir .. i have a problem with this splash screen which i bought my diamond
from a cell company .. and the logo of this company starts in the splash/boot screen .. and i want to remove it and i dont know how ?!?!?
to clear everything to you .. when i start my diamond .. first this show up (( HTC Touch Diamond )) logo .. then the company logo (( AirTel )) then .. (( Windows Mobile 6.1 ))
i just want to remove this annoying logo of (( AirTel )) could you tell me how ??
or could anyone tell me how ?

Hello Sir. I also have a problem with my Diamond. I installed these bootscreens and after 3 or 4 hardresets and installing a new ROM they are crap. Except the one with the guy and the not-kitchy diamonds on top. Please help me I have searched everywhere I even read the stickies.

You have to flash at first Unsigned Hard SPL from Olinex (1.40 or 1.93...depending to your diamond. Here you can find the tools. After this you can create your own splash-screens or take some out of this forum. The third screen is named welcomehead.192.png. It´s a graphic with 640x640 pixel. You have to copy it in windows. If you have downloaded my files, there are this files inside.
Edit: I didn´t read right...at this time i don´t know a way to change the 2nd screen... in original roms it´s the htc animation. Maybe, if you flash a rom, this screen would be changed in the same way.
Note: Don´t use the exe-tool, if you hadn´t flashed Hard SPL before.

This is only an example, how you can brand your phone with a picture of yourself. It´s me on the pic....don´t worry. Thieves will be angry about this, because they will be always remembered to the owner

What are you doing? Why do you make so often a hard reset? I posted this yesterday, and you reset since this 4 times? Read the posts before.... If you flash new roms, maybe there were splash-screens inside. I flashed yesterday two roms, and my splash-screen is like it was before. Why did you copy my photo on your diamond? It was only an example Try to flash again, if there are problems.

The actual file in windows is the file out of the rom. If you copy the welcomehead to windows with total commander, normaly there is no problem. Otherwise you can try, to unmark read only and copy after this your new file to windows. I am doing this since many years, before on my prophet and other pda´s. After reboot you have your new bootscreen.

HELP!!! tri-color appears on my HTC P4350

Pls help me on how to get rid of this tri-color that appears on the screen of my htc p4350 with an IPL 4.17.0002 and SPL 4.17.0000 written on it.. I really don't know what to do with this problem.. help me pls. pls. pls.

1. This is the development forum. Your post is not a development post.
2. This has been covered a million times. Please search.
3. The tri-color screen is your bootloader. What did you do in the first place to get to this point? The more information about your problem that you give, the easier it is for everyone else to figure out what happened.

I'm so sorry for posting in a wrong thread... What happened was.. I accidentally installed a wrong application on my phone.. The application I installed was for HTC touch.. so it was not compatible on my phone.. Everytime I turned on my phone the tri color screen appears and it displayed on the screen all the time.. I could not also hard reset the phone because of that tri color..
Pls help me what to do.. thanks much..

What "application" was it? Was it a ROM? Was it a HardSPL?
If it was a ROM, just flash another ROM.
If it was a HardSPL, search for "Goldcard" and create a goldcard.

The application I installed was the Touch-flo application.. But the application was saved on the memory card.. when I run the application, its when the tri color starts to appear..

Without knowing what program you used, it will be harder to figure out how to fix it.
The only thing I can say is:
1a) try to flash a Herald ROM through SD (read the walkthrough) (if your device is HardSPL'd)
1b) try to flash the stock ROM through SD (read the walkthrough) if your device isn't HardSPL'd)
2) If you still can't get past the bootloader screen, try searching for the word "goldcard" and follow those instructions on how to create a goldcard. You can use the goldcard to restore your phone back to working condition.

I have done the previous steps but I couldn't get this..
Ad.4) run Perl Package Manager from Windows Start Menu
change PPM Preferences (run Preferences from the Perl Package Manager menu and switch to the repository tab):
- Add repositories:
Name: itsme
Location: http://www.xs4all.nl/~itsme/projects/perl/ppm (there are many files on this location & i don't know what to download)
- Add repository:
Name: theoryx
Location: http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/ppms/package.xml
After database synchronization install those packages (at the main window of Perl Package manager find those packages, mark them for install (the icon with green plus, next to the search bar) and run marked action(green arrow icon)):
-Crypt-DES
-XdaDevelopers-NbfUtils
by the way, i'm using Windows XP service pack 2.. is it okay? eventhough the requirements is SP3? thanks much..

Problem with TouchFLO

Hi , i have P3452 and i see in user manual that this phone have TouchFLO Cube . Acording to instruction from manual i try to drag from bottom to top on screen when the phone is in home menu but nothing hapened . My question is i must instal cab file with Cube setings to work ?

Do you know if your phone is running the stock rom, it is possible it may have been flashed with a rom that does not contain the cube.
