TV-out via micro to mini usb converter?

I'm really disappointed that the HD2 doesn't appear to support TV-out. I'm wondering if anyone with the ExtUSB dongle from previous HTC phones (e.g. TP2) has tried connecting it to the HD2 via a micro-mini usb converter to get TV-out to work?

If the Garmin is charged via USB, i think yes, it is possible.
And check the connector: hd mini uses a micro usb connector.

[Q] USB Host on Blackstone ?

Hello all,
I saw yesterday that USB host have been released for HTC Desire HD:

as USB doesn't work until now for Blackstone, it would be a dream to have USB host functionnality... mini-usb adapters are much easier to find than micro-USB host adapters!
Does someone knows weither it's feasable or not (hardware limitation) ?
